B.E. in Mechanical Engineering - Batch of 2019
2.0
It is not the best college as I wanted, but it gives us a lot of memories.
Placements: None of the students from our batch got placed. The mechanical engineering department is the main department of our college. Companies do not visit our college for placements. Our college does not take responsibility to provide an internship.
Infrastructure: There is only one mechanical workshop for students where various machines are placed for the practical study of students. The hostel facility is average. Mess and canteen facilities are the worst. Classrooms are comfortable for students. There are various labs like thermodynamics lab, FM lab and Cad Cam lab.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are helpful. They are well-qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is good. Teachers arrange industrial visits for students to provide some practical knowledge for students. Teachers use their personal contact to get permission for industrial visits.
Other: I have chosen this course because I always have a curiosity about machines. I wanted to know the mechanism behind that machine. So to find out such things and learn some new knowledge about various machines, I joined mechanical engineering course. The best thing about this course is it taught us to be strong in life. The disadvantage of this course is jobs are not available after completion of this course.

This is not a bad choice but think twice before joining.
Placements: The placement cell in the college is good, and it is helpful for all students to improve their skills. Regularly, they arrange workshops and guests lectures for students. They provide internships and job details to students regularly. Placement cell is collaborating with numerous organisations to place students in their company/organisation.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good. In a single campus, there are Flora Institute of Technology, Flora College of Architecture, and Flora valley School. In engineering, there are well-equipped labs and workshops. There is a hostel in the college, so no need to travel long.
Faculty: Flora Institute of Technology was founded by Dr Atul Padalkar, and he put his sincere efforts to make this college better. Every faculty member in the college is well-educated and has a minimum of 5-years of experience. All faculty members are helpful to students in both curricular and extracurricular activities.

Good faculty and average infrastructure.
Placements: During our time, most of the placement opportunities were offered to students of the mechanical department. Don't depend on the college for placements. Many of the students found internships by themselves. There is no scope for anything here right now, and the case was different during our time.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is average, but I don't recommend joining this college right now. The library was good, and the canteen was average. The computer labs were good, and there is a need to upgrade them. Everything else was good. There were facilities for games, but the college didn't encourage sports during our time.
Faculty: The teachers were helpful. I loved all the staff members of our branch. They were the most helpful and skilled professors and teachers, and they were very much supportive. The engineering course was average, and the college has supported us. The courses offered right now are not that satisfactory, so there is no scope.
Other: Fests are organised once a year, and events are organised if anyone takes an initiative. The campus crowd is average. The campus surroundings are good, but the infrastructure and amenities are not good. I have no idea about the scholarships. Extracurricular activities were conducted during our time.

Flora Institute of Technology infrastructure is good with natural surroundings.
Placements: The Flora College is very good for teaching. But, for placements, they need to do hard work because this college is newly built and quantity of students is also less. So, they need to look into the placements issue. They give placements but are not satisfactory.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is awesome. They provide all the facilities. College location is in Khopi village, i.e., 25-30km long from Pune. It has natural atmosphere outside. Food quality is also good. College does not provide sports and games facilities, but other facilities are good.
Faculty: The teaching staff are very supportive in Flora Institution of Technology. They always support everyone, also our principal sir. This college has provides all engineering courses. All departments' staff are good. The project work will help us to grow, and it is helpful for our career.
Other: The college yearly organises one event named Excellencia which is great.

Satisfied because of good teachers.
Placements: Good placement opportunity available in this college. New tpo sir are taking efforts to provide placement for students. Passed out students were placed in tata Cummins mahindra and other companies including isro and many more. They are trying their best to provide placement.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is still developing. College has two open playgrounds. Table tennis is available for hostel students and even gym is also available for hostel students with negligible fees of 10 rupees per month. Two canteens are available in college premises.
Faculty: Teachers available here are not too qualified but are more than enough for teaching us all. Teachers are cooperative excluding some of them are not. Mostly 30% of old teachers are now been changed and more qualified teachers are now been added in staff.
Other: Excellent annual event occurs in this college which is celebrated with great enthusiasm.

Amazing college with great nature and faculty point of view and infrastructure.
Placements: This is the new college our batch is 3rd so they didn't provide placement still date. After some time may be they will provide you placement. Beacuse of no tieups with compines so placement is not good or but if you tried your best then it will be your advantage to getting placed by your way. I am passout in2017 and I got placed in Infosys by my reference not college. So that's the problem.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is really good. Good classroom with good benches and specious classroom. Fully equipped practical lab. The canteen is good but costly, hostel are good room are specious. There is no Wi-Fi in college and hostel. Library is Good all available books, genrals, project reports are provided. Another the workers staff is also good.
Faculty: All the IIT and NIT faculty are there. The faculty are very best and supporting. Teaching quality os also good. The teaching method are incriable. Main focus on practical and lab sessions. The student to faculty raito is 50:2 (e. g for 50student 2faculty are provided).
Other: All gov. Scholarship, minority are provided. Campus is eco friendly (no pollution, no disterbunce). Campus croud is also good. All the events and extracurricular activities are happening here. College buses are there.

The college is not so good, so it is a 0.5/5.0 from me
Placements: Placements are available very easily because there are fewer students in my course which make placements so easy. But there is no faculty member who teaches properly and students are unable to pass their examination, so they have a big disadvantage with them.
Infrastructure: Facilities are not so good and there is a less amount of students. Classrooms are very poor as they have so many cracks in walls. The entire building can collapse I think because it is built on mountains and there is no Wi-Fi. We got libraries but they don't have many books. No medical facilities are there. If anyone is not feeling well, the college isn't responsible for anything as we ourself have to take them to the hospital which is 20-25 km away from the village. There are no sports and no games too. In short, the worst college.
Faculty: The only faculty members who are helpful to us left the college and we got nothing but some arrogant teachers around us. Teachers are uncooperative, so it is hard for us to clear the semester. They even don't have any clear thoughts on their mind to teach us nicely, so faculty members are also the worst.

Review of Flora Institute of Technology.
Placements: The placements are below average. Just 3% of the total students get placed and the same is the condition with the seniors. The highest salary offered was 15000 per month and the lowest salary was about 8000 per month. Almost no companies visited the campus. A few BPOs were there and a technical support role was offered. 10% of the students got the internship. The highest stipend offered was about 7000 per month.
Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi and the Internet facility is terrible. There is a good library, though and all technical books are available in the library. Classrooms are good and equipped with projectors. Labs are available but not all the machinery is available. A mess is there, not a canteen. It provides good food. There are infrastructure-related issues. Sports facilities are not provided and there is no proper ground. There is also no proper parking for vehicles.
Faculty: Some faculty members are gems who are very helpful. But these gems are rare. They are knowledgeable but they should develop a good teaching strategy. The student-faculty ratio is 60:1 but 60 students never attend the class so the ratio on an average is 15:1. Industry exposure is just what they showed us from the Youtube videos. A couple of "industrial visits" to a sugar factory.
Other: The principal and his principles both are wonders of the world. He has his own goals. The primary objective is to sweet talk the parents and students and then get them enrolled in the institution. Once they are enrolled, now you wait and watch as the college reveals its true colours. Not even a single event like social gathering is held in the 4-year term of the course.
