A nice institute to start your journey as a Pharmacist.

Placements: In our batch, there are around 60 students. There is no package offered in our course since it is a professional diploma course. We can join companies related to pharma industry after completion of the course. After completion of the course, all students get an internship of about 3 months in the government hospital.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure of the institute is quite good or you can say average. Facilities provided to students are average. The institute has a library that contains a wide range of books including mostly pharmacy-related books and a few other books also. Laboratories are clean and hygienic and all the equipments are available to perform various experiments from our course syllabus. Classrooms have fixed wooden seats like a gallery which is very good for the students. All classrooms contain a projector and screens to discuss any topic digitally by presentation.

Faculty: Faculty members are very helpful but the number of facilities is very less as compared to the number of batches or number of students which sometimes creates difficulties. Course curriculum is relevant but needs more practical practice than theoretical study. The difficulty level of the semester exams is average, not so tough. The percentage of passing is 40%.

Other: Since this is a professional diploma course it focuses on training the students so that after completion of the course students can provide service to the general public. The best thing about the course is it is only 2-year course. So within 2 years, we can gain much knowledge, both theoretical and practical to serve the general public. Various events are conducted on different occasions which are very exciting and enjoyable. In college week we perform various sports competitions to find different talents of the students.

One of the topmost government pharmacy college in Assam. Full facilitated.

Placements: There are 60+ seat which fill up through a exam called CEE (common entrance exam ) conduct by Srimanta sankardev university of health sciences. I have passed last year from this college. Now I am working at hospital pharmacy as a pharmacist Maximum of students are working at top most hospital in Guwahati Some students has gone gor further study Students have to complete 3 months internship after complete the D pharma course. They can do their internship at government hospital Packages are different as depending upon the hospital.

Infrastructure: Classrooms are average. No Wi-Fi. Library and labs facilities available. Canteen available? Hostel not available. Canteen is available? But the college is situated in the hill top. So the main problem is transportation. There is one pharmacognosy lab where available all rude drugs which are taken from the plant or animal.

Faculty: All teachers are highly knowledgeable and well qualified. Teaching quality is good of maximum teacher. It makes the students industry ready. Pass percentage is 40%? To pass first year is more difficult than second year? There will all total 11-12 subjects (include practical) in every year? You have to pass in both theory and practical .
