Before joining Diploma, you need to see this.

Placements: My batch has 60 members who joined mechanical engineering, and in the 5th semester there will be campus placements. I got a placement in DBS with a package of INR 4 lacs per annum. So many companies are giving placements in our college, such as TCS, HCL, DBS, Wipro, etc., and almost 60 percent of students get internships in my batch. They get internships at Mando, Hero, Royal Enfield, and HCL. The top roles offered in my course depend on mechanical engineers.

Infrastructure: There are so many facilities in our college, such as transportation, hostel facilities, a mess in the college, and a good ground for playing, and we have sports days every year. The quality of the food in the mess is very good, and it is healthy too. At our college, there are also medical facilities available.

Faculty: The teachers at our college are very knowledgeable. They are M.Tech.-qualified teachers, and they teach very well in a good manner. We understand better when they are teaching. In Diploma, the semester exams are very difficult, and we must work hard to get even pass marks. The pass percentage in Diploma at our college is 50 percent.

Other: In diploma, mechanical is the best course to choose and join. We get more jobs in mechanical because the features depend on mechanical engineering, so the mechanical course is the best course ever. The things that need to be improved in our course are the theoretical work, which is high, and the lab work, which is low. Practical work is more important than theoretical work.

The faculty are good, but there are no placements for Diploma students.

Placements: There are no placements for Diploma candidates. Companies will not come for Diploma students. There is a 6-month internship program. Our batch didn't get internships due to the on-going covid pandemic at that time.

Infrastructure: The hostel is average. The food is also average. The boys' hostel is very bad, and the maintenance is not good. Students must clean their rooms on their own. Sports and games facilities are provided.

Faculty: The teachers are well-qualified. They are good at teaching. The course curriculum is relevant. Semester exams in our college are very difficult.

Candidate must have passed 10th grade or S.S.C. Examination conducted by State Board of Secondary Education, Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the Board of Secondary Education, A.P/TS, such as Central Board of Secondary Education(CBSE), Indian Council for Secondary Education(ICSE), National Institute of Open School (NIOS), A.P. Open School Society (APOSS), 10th class examination conducted by various State Boards of Secondary Education in India with Mathematics as one of the subjects. Candidates from NIOS/APOSS/other recognized examinations deemed equivalent to SSC by the A.P. Government must have passed all subjects, including Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry, with a minimum of 35% marks in each subject. Candidates who appeared or are appearing for SSC or equivalent examination being held in March-2024, and whose results are yet to be declared can also appear for POLYCET- 2024.
