Q:   Where can a candidate check GIBS Business School cutoff 2023?
A: 

GIBS Business School has not yet released the cutoff marks for the 2023 PGDM (MBA) programme. The cutoff marks are typically released after the declaration of the entrance exam results. Once released, candidates can check them on the GIBS Business School website.

In the meantime, candidates can refer to the cutoff marks of previous years to get an idea of the cutoff marks for the 2023 PGDM program.

 

Q:   What is the CAT 2024 exam date for admission to MBA courses at GIBS Business School?
A: 

The CAT exam is always conducted on the last Sunday of November every year so the CAT 2024 exam is expected to be conducted on Nov 24, 2024. Official announcement of the CAT 2024 exam date will be made by the convening IIM on Jul 30, 2024. The announcement will be made at the iimcat.ac.in website as well as in all the national dailies across India. We at Shiksha also notify the aspirants through our communication channels. Registrations cum application process for CAT 2024 will begin from the first week of August and end in the third week of September 2024.

Highly recommend for quality education, industry exposure, and overall personality development.
Placements: GIBS offers excellent placement opportunities, and in our batch nearly 100 percent of students are placed. The top package is approximately 16 LPA, the mean is approximately 8.4 LPA, and the minimum is approximately 6 LPA. The placement drive is attended by many famous organisations, such as Wipro, Mahindra Finance, Nykaa, Ivy Home, Bosch, Oppo, IDFC First Bank, Urban Company, HDB Financial Services, Joyalukkas, Larsen and Toubro, and Cafe Coffee Day. Similar companies also offered good internship opportunities to students. The highest positions available are assistant sales manager, deputy manager, area business manager, and business development executive/manager.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure in GIBS is in excellent condition and offers all the necessary facilities to the students. The classrooms are contemporary, large, and have smart boards. The campus contains high-speed Wi-Fi, a fully equipped library, fully operational computer laboratories, seminar halls, and activity and innovation labs. The place is clean, green, and student-friendly. Hostel facilities are also in good condition with neat rooms, proper ventilation, and frequent cleaning. The food is hygienic and has a balanced menu. There is medical support and sports amenities such as indoor games, a gym, and outdoor grounds that guarantee a healthy lifestyle.
Faculty: GIBS faculty is quite encouraging, competent, and experienced. They make the classes interesting and simple to learn using real-life teaching techniques, case studies, and examples from the industry. The curriculum is well crafted and fully industry-based, with orientation towards the development of skills, corporate exposure, and personal growth in general. Frequent workshops, live projects, and value-added programmes assist students to remain abreast with business trends. Exams are not too difficult but can be handled through regular study, and the chances of failing are minimal as the teachers counsel students throughout the process.
Other: GIBS is a very affordable institution to study at due to the value of money obtained through the learning process, corporate exposure, and placements. The college offers a variety of certifications, workshops, internships, and personality development programmes that indeed make a difference in the growth of students. The real value is the faculty support, student activities, and the general academic environment. The payoff is highly favourable given the good placements and curriculum that is industry-relevant. Students receive much more opportunities, training, and grooming than they would otherwise have received in similar institutes.

Satisfied with the okay infrastructure and campus life.
Placements: 90 percent of the students from our previous batch are placed with the highest package offered being 16LPA and an average package offered is 8LPA. Companies like Mahindra Finance Phonepe Nykaa and Medplus are some of the top recruiters offering various roles like Business development manager Sales manager Operations manager and so on.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are well equipped with modern facilities and amenities which is also good. There are good sports facilities available here and we have a separate club for sports where several sports events like badminton Chess Cricket and Basketball will be conducted.
Faculty: The teaching pedagogy is very industry specific making us ready for the corporate world. The faculty members here are well experienced and equipped with the appropriate subject knowledge. The difficulty level of exams here is moderate as questions will be application based.

I am very happy that I am growing along with GIBS.
Placements: Some of the top recruiting companies include Mahindra, Finance, Wipro, Nykaa, and ITC Limited. The highest package offered is 16.15 LPA and the average package offered is 7.8 LPA. Our seniors placements are going on and they are getting good placements. Job roles offered include Management consultant, Marketing manager, Financial Analyst, Product manger, HR executive, and sales executive.
Infrastructure: We have a library with both physical and digital access of resources. There is also an auditorium, and a clubhouse which has a gym and a yoga floor. We also have indoor games floor, a dance studio, and a basketball court. Hostel facilities include Wi-Fi access, two and three sharing rooms and the quality of food is also good.
Faculty: The institute follows learning by doing method which helps the students experience the corporate world. Courses like IRE Innovation Research and Enterpreneurship help in learning how to start and run a business. CPMP programme helps students to be interview ready and building skills and themselves with the guidance of a mentor. The faculty is very friendly, approachable and very experienced.

Placements: Our college has 100 percent placements. The average package being offered is 8.4 LPA, and the highest package offered is 16 LPA. The lowest package offered is 6.2 LPA. IVY Home, Nyka, Mahindra Finance, Aditya Birla and Happy Equity are top recruiting companies. 100 percent of students have internships in Flipkart, Aditya Birla, and Bajaj Finance. Marketing Finance, Human Resources Operations, and Supply Chain Management are roles offered.
Infrastructure: College has excellent facilities and it has all facilities like library, computer lab, and good food, We also have Wi-Fi, smart board, clubhouse, gym and good classrooms. Mess is also good. and medical facilities are available. The hostel is well maintained. We have good warden with good behaviour.
Faculty: Teachers are friendly with students and provide all the support for students in all competitions and for their placement. All the facilities have good experiences and they are polite to students. PGDM is a study where we will get all corporate application based questions and it is for students for future. Passing percentage is 98 percent. They also provide seminars and guest faculty talks and conclaves.
Other: I had plan to pursue an MBA and after searching I got to know that PGDM is good and it gives more corporate knowledge. This course will prepare you for the future and what the company is looking for in skills. They provide additional courses like IRE which means Innovation research Entrepreneurship which gives knowledge about how to start companies, and BMP Business Master programme for students during month of December. They conduct IPL auctions and marketing fest Management fest.

Happequity Mahindra Finance Nyka, and Ivy Home are top recruiters. 100 percent of students are going for internships in Flipkart, Adithya Birla Bajaj Finance. Management Trainee Business Analyst and Marketing Executive as well as roles in Finance and Operations are offered.
Infrastructure: College provides excellent facilities for students such as Wi-Fi Labs classrooms and library. All students are utilising all the facilities in college providing good hostel facilities. The hostel is good and comfortable and rooms are clean and well maintained. The hostel provides good quality and hygienic food. I really like hostel food because it makes me feel at home. The sports and games facilities are also good in my college.
Faculty: Our teachers are highly qualified and experienced. The teaching quality is excellent and teachers are very professional and well versed in their duties always helpful. We always have hands on experience in the field which makes us ready for any industry. The semester exams are application based questions and the pass percentage is 98 percent.
Other: I chose the PGDM course in GIBS because it is a strong industry and good placement support and also college that provides the IRE programme. This is useful for building my career. I am learning better communication and good leadership qualities in this PGDM course. My college has different societies like marketing finance HR CSR and other societies. All societies conduct events and I participated in a finance event. Our team got 1st place in this event and college conducted fest and extracurricular activities.

Infrastructure: College has excellent facilities like Library Labs with Wi-Fi facility and a classroom with smart boards. The hostel is good and the quality of food is good. We have good medical facilities a clubhouse gym and a sports area in our college.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and have corporate experience. They will help in internships and placements also and they have excellent teaching quality. PGDM is a course where we learn everything about corporate and industry. It will make the students industry ready. Semester exams are like application 98 percent have a pass percentage.
Other: I want to do MBA afterwards. I thought of doing PGDM so that I can get industry exposure. PGDM has good placements and in this college we have IRE concept where we can build our own startup idea. The college will conduct the BMP programme where we do business like chats food and we sell. They will conduct a fest and we have societies where we can perform our talent. I got first place in IPL action. I am very excited and we have some more extracurricular activities.
