Hello candidate.
Some of the important subjects that form the foundational base for BTech in Aeronautical Engineering course at the best universities and colleges across India include Aircraft Structures, Propulsion Systems, Avionics and Aerodynamics, Thermodynamics, Flight Mechanics, Fluid Mechanics, Control Systems, and CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software.
All of these subjects will provide you comprehensive knowledge about the working process of aircraft machinery, which will make you future ready in terms of your career in the aeronautical sector.
Hope this answered your query.
The Aircraft Stability and Control subject is of extreme importance for every aeronautical engineering graduate because it teaches you about the various ways in which an airplane could respond after facing some unforeseen disturbances, and further gives you an idea regarding different ways to tackle the same.
This information is crucial for the aeronautical engineer to put to use while designing and manufacturing the aircraft in order to install the required safety equipment and control systems in place.

Neither is inherently "better". They're both different specializations - an Aircraft Design Engineer focuses on overall structure and mechanics (body, wings, engines) but an Avionics Engineer works with electronics (radar, navigation, autopilot, communication systems).
Candidates should choose Aircraft Design if they love physical, mechanical and also aerodynamic aspects. Or they can choose Avionics if they are interested in computers, electronics and also complex systems that make plane "smart".
Well, this is a difficult question to answer in every aspect, of course, you get a lot of opportunities in government and private sector but it isn't enough. I guess nothing is enough and that shouldn't stop you from taking up this course or profession if you are passionate about it and things involved interests you.
Talking about what all can you do after Aeronautical Engineering?
1) Maintenance of Aircraft- You can work as an Aeronautical Maintenance Engineer where you will test new aerodynamic and aviation systems and maintain them.
2) Aircraft Designer - You can get involved in designing, constructing, and testing aircraft, missiles, and spacecrafts. Here, you may conduct research to evaluate adaptability of materials and equipment with respect to aircraft design and manufacture.
3) Defence - You can also work in the defense sector working on defence aircrafts such as fighter jets, choppers, bombers, etc. Also, the job requires being able to handle such aircraft at necessary times.
Further, where all can you work?
You can work in government sector with ISRO, DRDO, HAL, etc., and then you can look at private companies such as L&T, Godrej & Boyce aerospace, Boeing, Airbus, Mahindra, etc. The opportunities are endless.
Thanks. Have a good day.
