GIM admissions usually starts in January. Aspirants will be able to participate in the selection rounds. Check below the step-wise GIM Goa admission process:
1 - GIM Goa Application Process 2026
The mode of application is online for all courses. Candidates need to pay a non-refundable application fee as mentioned below:

2 - Selection Rounds
GIM admission to the PGDM course is based on XAT, CAT, CMAT, GMAT scores followed by face-to-face evaluation and profile assessment index. GAAT is conducted for admission to PGDM BDA and PGDM BDA + MSc Business Analytics programmes. Admission to the FPM course is based on XAT/ CAT/ MAT/ GMAT/ JRF scores followed by a PI round.
3 - Merit List and Admission Confirmation
The institute releases a merit list. Selected candidates receive an admission letter. Aspirants need to pay the GIM Goa fee to confirm their seats in the institute.

GIM Goa Seats 2026
Goa Institute of Management seat intake varies for each PGDM specialisation. Candidates can get a seat in the programme based on their score in the entrance exam. There is no reservation in seats for any category. Check belolw the GIM Goa seat intake:

The total tuition fee for Goa Institute of Management FPM is INR 40,000. This information is sourced from official website/ sanctioning body and is subject to change. GIM Goa Admission 2026 FAQs
Goa Institute of Management (also known as GIM Goa) is one of the top institutes in India offering quality Management education. It is approved by the AICTE and accredited by the NBA and SAQS. GIM Goa offers PGDM, PGDM (part-time) and FPM courses. It offers PGDM in four specialisations. The duration of PGDM programme is two years, PGDM (part-time is three years and FPM is four years. Admission to GIM Goa is strictly on the basis of merit and no donation in any form is sought or accepted in connection with admission. There are no reservations for Goan candidates, but for personal interview selection, the qualifying cut-off score of the competitive exam may be lowered by up to 15 points for candidates of Goan domicile/origin.
Students who apply for withdrawal on or before June 30 of the admission year, receive full refund of the academic fee after deduction of INR 1,000 as processing charge. Further, there is deduction from the hostel fee based on the duration of the stay of student in the hostel. Students withdrawing from the course after June 30 of the admission year are not eligible for the refund.

General category students who have scored at least 50% are eligible for admission in GIM Goa PGDM courses. For SC/ST category, scoring at least 45% is must for admission. Along with that scores of either XAT or CAT exam are must for admission.

GIM PGDM (Part time) involves the percentage basis selection criteria. 30% weightage is given to work experience, 30% weightage is given to past academic records, 30% weightage is given to face-to-face evaluation and 10% weightage is given to composite diversity index.

There is no work experience required for admission to GIM Goa PGDM program. Do note that the institute gives weightage to work experience during evaluation. This is as per the institute's policy. Even freshers are allowed to apply.

Goa Instutute of Management only offers admission in PGDM through management quota. Therefore, you will have to fulfil its merit and even have a valid score of XAT and CAT for admission in the program.
