GIM Goa Admission Overview 2026
Goa Institute of Management admission 2026 is based on entrance exam scores. The institute conducts GIM Analytics Aptitude Test (GAAT) for shortlisting candidates for PGDM BDA and IDA Programme. XAT cut off is released category wise. The cut off percentile for female candidates and male candidates are different. The cut offs for engineering and non engineering candidates are different and XAT cut offs for PGDM BM and PGDM HRM are different. As per the GIM Goa cutoff 2023, the percentile was 85 for the General All India category students. So, considering the previous year cutoff trend, a candidate should score above or in the range of 80 to 85 percentile in XAT.
Admission to GIM Goa is entrance-based. Candidates must first apply for admission via online mode. The selection process for PGDM course, includes XAT, CAT, CMAT, GMAT scores followed by face-to-face evaluation and profile assessment index. For PGDM BDA, candidates must also qualify GIM Analytics Aptitude Test (GAAT) for admission. FPM admission is based on XAT/ CAT/ GMAT/ JRF and other score followed by a personal interview round. The institute also considers academic performance, work experience, etc. for final selection to FPM course.

2 - Selection Rounds
GIM admission to the PGDM course is based on XAT, CAT, CMAT, GMAT scores followed by face-to-face evaluation and profile assessment index. GAAT is conducted for admission to PGDM BDA and PGDM BDA + MSc Business Analytics programmes. Admission to the FPM course is based on XAT/ CAT/ MAT/ GMAT/ JRF scores followed by a PI round.
3 - Merit List and Admission Confirmation

The total tuition fees of PGDM course ranges between INR 5.3 lakh and INR 19.4 lakh. This information is sourced from official website/ sanctioning body and is subject to change. Candidates who will qualify all the selection rounds for PGP admission will be required to pay the course to confirm their seat in the institute. Admission to GIM Goa is strictly on the basis of merit and no donation in any form is sought or accepted in connection with admission. There are no reservations for Goan candidates, but for personal interview selection, the qualifying cut-off score of the competitive exam may be lowered by up to 15 points for candidates of Goan domicile/origin.
Students who apply for withdrawal on or before June 30 of the admission year, receive full refund of the academic fee after deduction of INR 1,000 as processing charge. Further, there is deduction from the hostel fee based on the duration of the stay of student in the hostel. Students withdrawing from the course after June 30 of the admission year are not eligible for the refund.
