Q:   Can I get direct admission in GITAM Institute of Science, Visakhapatnam?

For GITAM admission, students should pass the GITAM Admission Test. It is a computer based online test held across major cities in India. Candidates who have scored well on the GATE, JEE, TS EAMCET or Andhra Pradesh EAMCET exams are eligible to apply for admission. 

Q:   How can I get BSc seat at GITAM Bangalore?
A: 

GITAM Bangalore BSc seats are allocated based on applicants’ scores in the GITAM Aptitude Exam. Thus, it is mandatory for students to take the GAT exam. Moreover, as per the official website of the university, seats are allocated on a first come first basis. Interested students can also check the below eligibility crietria before applying:

Eligibility Criteria: Any candidate with a minimum of 50% or 5.0 CGPA (55% in the case of CBSE, ICSE, ISCSE, IGSCE, and IB) in Class 12 is eligible to apply. However, to be eligible for BSc Computer Science with Cognitive Systems, a candidate must have scored 60% or 6.0 CGPA in Class 12.

Q:   How to get into BSc courses at GITAM Bangalore?
A: 

GITAM University Bangalore BSc admissions are made based on GAT scores. Students interested in taking admission at GITAM must first apply and appear for the GITAM Admission Test (GAT). After the GAT results are announced, the college prepares a rank list based on the scores. Based on the rank list, students are shortlisted for the counseling process.

After that, GITAM BSc seats are allocated based on GAT scores and university’s BSc seat intake. Students who get allocated a seat must then report to the institute with their official documents. The admission committee then verifies the documents. Once the verification is done, the student must pay the fees to secure admission at GITAM University Bangalore.

Overall, the best College for M.Sc. In the Food Science and Technology Course.
Placements: 79% of students are placed in our college. The maximum income offered at our college was 9 LPA, while the lowest compensation was 3 LPA. The internship rate at our college is 70%. Food Technologies, Nutritional Therapist, and other top professions are available through our training. Amul, Britannia, PepsiCo, and other companies are among the leading recruiters.
Infrastructure: Our college has no hostels. In terms of amenities, it competes with other colleges in the city. Our college is equipped with a library, reading room, theatre, auditorium, computer lab, IT-enabled classroom, cafeteria, and gymnasium. Cleanliness is very important at our college. Bathrooms are clean, with water purifiers on each floor.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, highly skilled, and informed. Their teaching standards are exceptionally excellent. Students will always be helped. They are really friendly in nature. Every teacher there is very professional in their instruction. They are the absolute finest. The semester tests are slightly more difficult, with a 55% pass rate.

The college has very beautiful infrastructure, and the connectivity with people is very good.
Placements: Around 50% of students get placed. The package ranges from 3 to 11 LPA. Companies include Accenture, Wipro, and Infosys. About 20% of students get internships. The most common role offered is Software Engineer. If we prepare from the beginning, we can secure an internship or a job.
Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and library are the best compared to other colleges. Food and medical facilities are very good. For sports and games, the college provides a balance of education and pursuing passions.
Faculty: Most teachers are very helpful. Around 90% are qualified. The teaching quality is good. The curriculum is relevant, making students industry-ready. Semester exams are simple if we study for at least one hour per day. The pass percentage is 90%.
Other: I chose this course because I studied it in my undergraduate program. I have a clear understanding of Statistics and Analytics. The best part of my course is its focus on analytics. Regarding events, fests, campus crowd, and overall environment, this college is excellent.

Review of GITAM School of Science, Visakhapatnam.
Placements: The best placements are offered here. Somehow, few students join my course. Because it is a food system course. The highest package is 20 LPA, and the lowest package is 3 LPA. Many companies offer job opportunities.
Infrastructure: GITAM University has the best infrastructure. We have a well-equipped and well-stocked library with central AC and Wi-Fi. We have AC classrooms. We have labs for all subjects. Our hostel is very nice and washrooms are very clean. We also have medical facilities.
Faculty: Here, teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable. They are teaching very nicely and are close to students. They are very friendly to students while teaching. We have a monthly exam for students. Our dean conducts exams very strictly. We have compulsory attendance for writing exams.

Overall, the best College for M.Sc. In the Data Science Course.
Placements: The minimum will be 3 LPA, and the maximum for the M.Sc. The Data Science course will be 27 LPA. The median package is around 16 LPA. Top recruiters were here, including Mu Sigma, Genpact, Databricks, etc. About 66% got selected for internships. Both foreign and domestic internships were available to the students. The top jobs are Data Engineer, Business Intelligence Analyst, and so on.
Infrastructure: Everything here was fantastic. The labs were well furnished. The arrangement of the classrooms was outstanding, and the departmental library was satisfactory. Wi-Fi services were accessible all across the campus. Hotel rooms may not be better, but the chaos was the same. Hospital and sports avenues are outstanding.
Faculty: The quality of teaching was extraordinary. Learners engage in a research-oriented atmosphere. The coursework was structured to allow students to seek a Ph.D. later on. In comparison to other universities, semester examinations were challenging and occurred often. However, the course is well executed, and the instruction is of high quality.

This is the best college for engineering students. Students get placed well and have many facilities
Placements: Around 40-50% of students got placed in our course. The highest salary package offered is around 4 LPA - 5 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is around 1 LPA - 2 LPA. Some recruiting companies are Nestle and Pepsico. Around 80% of students secured internships in many food and dairy industries. Roles offered are quality assurance and quality checking.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are good. There is no Wi-Fi facility around the campus. Labs are good. The library is better with all the needed books. Hostel food is good. All sports and games are conducted every week. Sports and tournaments are held on campus every month.
Faculty: Teachers are professional and qualified. The teaching quality is good and well-trained. The food technology course curriculum is relevant. It can make students industry-ready. It largely depends on how well the curriculum is designed and updated to reflect the current industry and the practical skills. Semester exams are much more difficult to vary in different subjects. The pass percentage is 35%.
Other: This course is better I feel than another course which teaches about food. The best thing about this course is that we can learn about the quality of food and beverages. The improvement would be more lab sessions to be conducted. All fests, events, campus crowds, and activities are conducted during our course.

The college offers excellent facilities including top-notch hostels and canteens.
Placements: Almost 80% of students are placed in the course. I did have to know about this clearly and get to know. Since I haven't gathered enough information about this. Top recruiting companies are for our food technology courses, and the percentage of students who can get internships from our courses are almost everyone.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure in our department are very modest. It does have Wi-Fi, lifts, excellent labs, spacious classrooms with projectors to learn classes by faculty, and even we have the best library. The quality of the facilities in the hostel, the quality of the food in the mess, and the canteen sports and games is the best I have ever seen. This is the most unique and the best experience I have ever had.
Faculty: The teachers were very helpful to us. Even at teaching the subjects and also helping us in doing the projects. They are also highly knowledgeable, qualified, and helpful. Semester exams are a bit difficult since everything is a matter of results. So it does matter, and it is a bit difficult.
Other: I chose this course. Since I always care about what I eat, I wanted to learn more about food care, food health, etc. And that's how I chose this course to make myself better and make everyone else better by knowing about the food much better. Events, fests, campus crowds, connectivity, and extracurricular activities are all part of this whole college. Our college/university has its own uniqueness like ever. This is the best college where we can study as much as we want and enjoy as much as we want. The best one I have ever had.
