GITAM Institute of Science MCA admission is provided based on the scores obtained by the candidates in the CUET (PG)/JAM, or GAT, the entrance exam conducted by the institute. The step-wise process of GITAM School of Science admission for its MCA course is given below:

STEP 1: GITAM Institute of Science Visakhapatnam MCA Application Process

GITAM Institute of Science conducts the application process for the MCA course online. The application fee for the course is INR 1,000 (non-refundable), payable through net banking/ credit card or debit card. To apply for MCA, follow the step-wise GITAM Institute of Science application process explained below:

Step 1.1: Visit the official website of the GITAM Institute of Science and click on the 'Apply Now' tab on the Homepage.

Step 1.2: Enter the required details under the 'Register' tab in the next window.

Step 1.3: Verify the registered email ID and mobile number to obtain login details. Use these credentials to log into the registered account and fill out the application form.

Step 1.4: Upload the required documents in an acceptable format.

Step 1.5: Pay the application fee online.

Step 1.6: Submit the application form.

The list of documents required at the time of submitting an application for the MCA course at the GITAM Institute of Science is given below:

STEP 2: Shortlisting of Candidates

Admission to the GITAM School of Science MCA course is entrance exam-based. The institute conducts the GITAM Admission Test (GAT) for admission. Candidates with a valid CUET/JAM score are exempted from appearing for the GAT. Further, candidates shortlisted based on entrance exam scores will be called for a group discussion and personal interview. The institute will release the final admission list based on the applicant's performance in the entrance exam and GDPI (if applicable).

STEP 3: Admission Confirmation

Shortlisted candidates must pay the applicable GITAM School of Science fee to confirm their admission. The GITAM School of Science MCA fee is INR 3.87 lakh. GITAM offers up to 100% scholarships to MCA candidates based on their merit in various entrance exams conducted at the national/ state levels. The deserving candidates will be offered scholarships on a "first-come-first-served" basis for the first year only. The same scholarship will be continued in the second year of study provided the student has secured a minimum of 8.0 CGPA in the previous year.
