It is good at everything, except for freedom and fee structure.
Placements: Nearly 90% of students get placed. The highest package offered is 12 LPA. The average package offered is 4 LPA. The lowest package offered is 3.6 LPA. Top recruiting companies like L&T, Medha Servo, and JSW hire students. Top roles offered in mechanical engineering are R&D, design, production, and maintenance departments.
Infrastructure: Labs are good. Facilities are good. All lab facilities are available. In every classroom, there is a projector and all facilities. I am a day scholar, but the hostel is good. All types of sports are encouraged in the college. We can use the library properly. In the library, all facilities are available. Digital libraries are also available.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. They clear all doubts. All faculty members are good. Semester exams are good. Faculty members only tell basics, and we need to read all the remaining things.

GMRIT - A leading engineering college with strong academics and placements.
Placements: About 85 percent students are placed. Moreover, students are more excited to get placed. The highest package of 2024 was 40.5 LPA. The average package was 4.5 LPA. Top recruiters are TCS, Infosys, etc. So many students got internships. Internships in GMRIT are one of the best things that provide you with better knowledge and further work.
Infrastructure: The college has very good infrastructure and good facilities. They provide quality hostel, food, and clean rooms with full greenery. Food is available in the mess and canteen. Medical facilities, sports and games are available. There is a big library that you can access every day, and a larger number of books that you can access.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and well-qualified. Teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is the best and relevant, which gives good knowledge. Coming to semester exams in college, they are very easy to pass. Teachers are very helpful and well-qualified. They are very knowledgeable. Course curriculum gives you a better knowledge and makes a better trip on further studies, and it makes the students industry-ready. Coming to the discovery of the semester exams in IT colleges, we can pass easily, and if we want to gain good grades, we have to read.
Other: I chose this course because I am more interested in the IT branch. We have special camps. Campus crowd and connectivity are very good on our campus. Students should improve their communication skills slowly, and this will give them better knowledge.

Good faculty and decent campus.
Placements: More than 60% of students were placed in the IT 2022-2026 passout batch. 24 LPA is the highest package offered, 5.5 LPA is average, and 3.6 LPA is the lowest. Infosys, TCS, L&T Mindtree, Oracle, Deloitte, etc., are the top recruiting companies. 26% students are interns at Infosys, 15% at L&T Mindtree, and 16% at TCS.
Infrastructure: At GMR College, facilities include good Wi-Fi, well-equipped labs, digital classrooms, and a useful library. Hostel facilities are decent with clean rooms, average food in the mess/canteen, basic medical care, and good sports and games opportunities.
Faculty: Teachers at GMR College are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, with good teaching quality. The course curriculum is relevant and helps students become industry-ready. Semester exams are moderately difficult. The pass percentage is generally high with proper preparation.
Other: I chose this course due to my interest in IT and good career opportunities. The best things are practical knowledge, coding exposure, and supportive faculty members. I wish for more industry training and updated labs. The campus has good fests, a decent crowd, connectivity, surroundings, scholarships, and active extracurricular activities.

Placements: In our campus this year, nearly 248 members were selected for Infosys. The recruiting companies are Infosys, TCS, Tech Mahindra, and Cognizant. Nearly 50% of students got placed in their final year. We have internships for one month in the 3rd year starting, and a full semester in the final year. We may also do extra certification courses like ServiceNow and Salesforce, but they are paid courses. For core branches, there is also GMR Group recruiting.
Infrastructure: We have labs available for practicals, and we have a LAN connection in the labs only. We have a vast library with a variety of books. We have projectors in our classrooms. There is a GMR Care hospital near our college. The hostel is not so good for the value of money, but it is not bad. The food is acceptable, but the fee is not worth what we pay.
Faculty: Lecturers teach only from an exam point of view. Practical knowledge is provided, but not up to the mark for placements. The course curriculum is not updated with current technologies. Semester exams are not so tough to attempt, but we need to study hard to get good marks. In each semester, 40% is the pass percentage out of total marks.

Faculty: Not every teacher is good at the teaching methodology, some just mug up the subject and teach. Lecturers teach only the knowledge required for passing exams. Practical knowledge is provided, but up to the mark of placements. The course curriculum is not so updated to technologies. Semester exams are not so tough to attempt, but we need to study hard to get good marks. We also have mid-term exams every 2 months.
