GMR Institute of Technology offers one UG course and one PG course UG courses include BTEch and MTech, respectively. Admission to both courses is based on entrance exam scores followed by counselling. The college accepts EAMCET entrance exam and counselling for admission to BTech and Andhra Pradesh ECET exam and counselling for admission to M.Tech course. Further, the college also offers lateral entry in BTech, admisison to lateral entry is based on score obtained in Andhra Pradesh ECET.

Our college has good placements. So I recommend others to join our college.
Placements: 80 percent of students get placed in our college. The highest package offered is 40.05 LPA. The average package offered is 4.5 LPA in our college. Top recruiting companies for our course are Infosys, Darwinbox, TCS, and PalTech. 60 percent of students get the same company for placements and internships. Roles like developer, debugger, and deployer are offered.
Infrastructure: Our college has good infrastructure. There are AC labs and a free Wi-Fi facility in our college. We have a good hostel facility. Here we have a good mess with delicious food. It also provides good medical facilities, sports, and games facilities.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and knowledgeable. They teach very well in our college. The course curriculum is very relevant. It makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are tough. The pass percentage is 80 percent in our college.
Other: I want to become a software engineer, so I chose computers as my subject. It should improve lab sessions, which can improve some practical knowledge of subjects. Our college is famous for fests and events.

Facilities in GMRIT and placements in 2025.
Placements: The placement percentage in our college is very good, and there is always a mass hiring that takes place in the placements. Recently, in our college, 248 people were placed in Infosys with a 3.6 LPA, and Cognizant recruited 55 people. Also, the mechanical, civil and EEE placements are 100 percent because we have the GMR company to recruit those people, and for CSE allied branches, our college invites reputable companies, so there is no disappointment in placements.
Infrastructure: I am a bus student, but what I heard from my friends is that the hostel facilities are good. The food tastes are acceptable, but the quality is very good, and also the classrooms in our college are well-equipped. The transport facilities to my home are provided by the college, which provides a bus. The fee is around Rs. 24,000 per year, based on the place where you are living, but the sports facilities in our college are 5/5. Library facilities are awesome, you can prepare for any competitive exam without any worry. Canteen and mess, overall, I am very satisfied.
Faculty: Faculty and curriculum are good, but the curriculum is not updated to industry level. We can prepare for the competitive exams in college because our library support is excellent. The semester exams are moderate, we can manage them by analysing the old question papers. Teaching quality is good, we can gain knowledge about the industry from the professors who did Ph.D. overall the college is doing its best to provide the industry knowledge.
Other: The events are good, we have student chapters, and they conduct events around 2 or 3 times a month. Also, the student council is very helpful in conducting the college events like Stepcone and annual days, and events always contain technical events, from which you can learn a lot. I am pretty satisfied with my college.

GMRIT hostel facilities and infrastructure.
Placements: In my college, the placements are very good. 85 percent of students are placed in CSE. The average package offered in our course is 3.6 LPA by Infosys. Our college has been very good for mass hiring over the past 2 years. Our college took 147 members last year and 248 members this year. Among 70 percent of students getting internships from the startups and roles that are being offered are support engineer and development roles. For the high packages, the Darvin Box, who took 16 LPA, is in a developer role. Proud to be a GMRITian.
Infrastructure: The hostel is excellent, and I always loved being in the hostel because the warden and management take care of students in a good manner. There is 24/7 water and current facility because of solar plants by the college, and also the hot water is always available, and wlan is 24/7. Overall, the library and infrastructure are 5/5. The food quality is excellent, but the taste is acceptable. Our college is fond of sports because the college encourages us to play sports, we have a physical director, a PET madam and a PET sir to support us.
Faculty: Faculty is good, and they are helpful to us. The curriculum is old because the current market trends do not fit with this curriculum. The exams in the college are easy, and the pass percentage is very high because the old question paper analysis is quite easy, most of the questions come from those papers, so the teachers are good. The exams are moderate. Overall, our college is strict, but there is a lot of discipline we can learn.
Other: Stepcone is going to be one of the national events, and it consists of non-technical and technical events. We can learn a lot from it. The best things about my course are the doctoral faculty and the placement support and training. There are some improvements, like updating the curriculum. Our college is going to be a university in future. I am willing to be a part of it, the fests and events, and the knowledge that you gain from this college is valuable. Scholarships are provided for merit students.

GMR is a college with space and greenery.
Placements: At my college, about 85% of students get placed. By the end of the 4th year, almost all students are recruited. Top recruiting companies are Infosys, Cognizant, and Darwinbox. The top roles are Software Engineer and Web Developer. The highest package is 45 LPA. The average is about 5–6 LPA. For the top 5 students, internships are provided abroad, while the remaining students get internships with companies like Hashtek Solutions and others.
Infrastructure: Our college is very large and has a lot of greenery. For every department, there are different numbers of labs, and Wi-Fi is also available. The hostel is good. The food is also good. Chicken is provided twice a week, and many other dishes are provided as well.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and also explain real-time scenarios. Semester exams are up to the student level only, which means the pass percentage is good. Bright students get a good CGPA. We also have to do self-study, which is good for a motivated learner.

My college has good infrastructure and education. Everything is based on practical learning.
Placements: In our college, 85 percent of students are placed. The highest package is 40 LPA, the lowest package is 6 LPA, and the average package is 8 LPA. Top recruiters include Dhawan Box and Infosys. Around 95 percent of students get internships, and companies like Hashtag recruit from our college. The roles offered are testing and coding.
Infrastructure: In our college, infrastructure is good. A LAN in every room. We have many classrooms. It is easy to study here. Library is helpful. It allows us to read all books and study comfortably. Labs are useful for doing project work and other tasks. In my hostel, food is good and has nice taste. There is also a small canteen in the hostel. It is helpful.
Faculty: Teachers freely talk with us and explain everything in a friendly way. They take care of us and give useful guidance for the future. The curriculum is helpful for our jobs and placements. Semester exams are moderately difficult as they include questions based on industry requirements. The pass percentage is 92 percent.
Other: I am interested in this course because I like software tools, real-time projects, and coding. Course teaches us how to do projects and learn coding. I want to improve my DSA skills for my future job and work on real-world problem-solving. The college organizes fests like Stepcone. Here we can participate in workshops, games, and stalls.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure and facilities of this college are good, but the rules are very strict. The classrooms, Wi-Fi, and labs are very good. There is nice equipment. The quality of the hostel and facilities are good. They allow sports activities.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful to students. They are available for students. Their teaching quality is okay. The course curriculum is relevant to our course. It does not make students fully ready for the industry. The semester examinations are okay.
Other: I chose this course because I want to improve my knowledge in data science and settle into a data scientist job. I wish to improve our college by having more events. There are events and festivals conducted.
