Infrastructure: GMR IT College in Rajam offers a strong academic infrastructure, such as Wi-Fi, equipped labs, and classrooms with modern aids. Placements: 75% of students get placed in our course. The highest package is 18 LPA. The lowest package is 5 LPA. The average package is 10 LPA. The top recruiting companies include Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, and TCS. 80% of students get internships from my course at Nlite, Hashtek, Infosys, and Wipro. The top roles offered in our course are machine learning, cybersecurity, backend programming, and cloud computing.

Infrastructure: Facilities in our college, like LAN, are available and very useful for students with the fastest internet connection. Labs are very hygienic and air-conditioned. Classrooms are very clean with neat benches, boards, and digital classes. The library is one of the most favorite places for students. There is a digital library and many books. The quality of facilities in our hostel is hygienic, with clean rooms, water facilities, and a mess that provides healthy food. Medical facilities are available. Sports and games are conducted weekly for students.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful to us. They are well educated and very knowledgeable. The teaching quality is outstanding. They help us participate in SIH and many other activities. This course curriculum is relevant and makes students industry-ready. Semesters are neither very easy nor very difficult. The pass percentage is 78.

Other: I chose this course because it has more coding and more job opportunities. The best thing about this course is that it is very understandable and applicable. The thing that should improve in this course is more explanation of practical code. There are many events like SIH, CSS, ISTE, and the fest called Stepcone, which is the biggest fest in my college. There is a 10,000 scholarship for toppers. There are many extracurricular activities.

Placements: I belong to the B.Tech Information Technology 2026 passing out batch. 80 to 85 percent students from our course got placed through campus recruitment drives. The highest package offered is 21LPA, the lowest is 3.5LPA and the average package offered is 6LPA to 7LPA. Top recruiters include Cognizant, Infosys, TCS, Accenture, Wipro, Capgemini, and product based companies like Oracle and IBM. 65% to 70% of students also secured internships in reputed organizations such as Cognizant, TCS, Bytexl, and Deloitte.

Infrastructure: Our Information technology department is well equipped with modern infrastructure and facilities to support both academic and practical learning. The department provides high speed Wi-Fi across the campus, well maintained computer labs with the latest software, digital classrooms, and a rich central library with online resources and journals. Dedicated seminar halls and project labs are also available for research and group activities.

Faculty: Faculty of the IT department is well qualified, supportive, and approachable, with many holding advanced degrees and industry experience. They help clarify concepts and guide students effectively in both academics and projects. The course curriculum is regularly updated to align with industry standards, covering core IT subjects along with emerging areas like AI, Data Science, and Cloud Computing, which makes students industry ready. Other: I belong to the B.Tech Information Technology 2026 passing-out batch. I chose this course because of my strong interest in programming, software development and problem solving and also because IT offers diverse career opportunities in the tech industry. The best things about my course are the practical oriented curriculum, experienced faculty access to modern labs and opportunities to work on real time projects and internships that enhance industry readiness.

Very good according to all the aspects a college should have.

Placements: Best placements for our seniors with the best packages in good companies. The average package is 4 LPA, whereas 40 LPA stands as the highest package. Various roles, including web development and front-end development, are the major roles our seniors are currently working in.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure and overall building in college are amazing, with daily cleaning. The cleaning staff makes sure that all the classrooms and staff rooms look clean with feel-good fragrances, and even the washrooms are maintained with cleanliness, which enhances personal hygiene.

Faculty: Most of the faculty have pursued Ph.D. and earned the doctorate before their name, with many years of experience in the teaching field at very prestigious institutions. They have completed their M.Tech in IITs with a good GATE percentage and deliver the classes with lots of interest.

Other: All the activities related to students are managed by the student council, and most of the events are organized with lots of interest and enthusiasm.

GMRIT is good for placements, infrastructure, facilities, and faculty members in 2025.

Placements: Recently, in my college last year, 70% got placed, whereas normally 85% are placed there. In my course, information technology recruiting companies are Cognizant, Infosys, etc. Recently, the highest package is 42 LPA, and the lowest package is 3 LPA. The maximum students got internships in my college.

Infrastructure: In GMRIT, the facilities and infrastructure are good. Wi-Fi is available everywhere in my college. Hostels and lawns are there. Classrooms and labs are comfortable, and the library is very good in my college. Hostel facilities are good, food is average, and sports and games are available.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful to students every time, and there are qualified teachers, well-educated, professional, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is also good. The students are very active to be industry-ready. The semester exams are moderate, not too tough.

Other: My course is perfect for me, they are teaching me web development and AI, and I'm telling that IT is perfect for web and software development. I need to study external subjects more in my academic studies. In GMRIT, events are held like Stepcon, annual day, freshers day, sports day, teachers day, etc. Extracurricular activities are available, like gym, sports, and clubs like singing and dancing clubs.
