Placements: 2022-26 batch, B.Tech at GMR Institute of Technology, 95-97 percent of students got placed, nearly 98 percent. In 2024, the highest package was 40 LPA at Amazon, and the lowest was nearly 3.5 LPA. Top recruiters are Amazon, TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, Accenture, and Capgemini. 80-90 percent of students interned and many PPO roles are offered.
Infrastructure: GMR Institute of Technology ECE department has excellent facilities like campus-wide Wi-Fi -LAN, modern classrooms with projectors, CCTV, a well-equipped, and central library. Hostels are clean and spacious, the mess and canteen food are hygienic and satisfactory. On campus medical centre with doctors, extensive experience in sports, and a gym. Overall, top-notch infrastructure.
Faculty: GMR Institute of Technology students are highly qualified, knowledgeable, very helpful, and approachable for doubts and mentoring. Teaching quality is excellent, interactive, practical, and focused with labs. The curriculum is relevant, autonomous, updated regularly with projects and industry input to make students industry-ready.
Other: 2022-2026 batch B.Teach ECE at GMR Institute of Technology. I chose for job opportunities, innovation, and passion. Best placements, the highest package, practical labs, updated cloud curriculum, great faculty, internship opportunities, and PPOs. Better to improve more core firms, advanced electives, and flexible grading. Stepcone fest is vibrant, with a crowd, clubs like Music Club and NSS, sports, a green rural campus, good connectivity, and scholarships.

I am absolutely satisfied with my college, and its environment is peaceful and pleasant.
Placements: I am Pasupula Joshitha, and I am in the batch of 2025–2029 in the ECE branch. The placements in our college are good, about above 90 percent. The highest package reached up to 40 LPA, and the average package is about 4.5 LPA. The top recruiting company is GMR itself. This is most of my knowledge about our college.
Infrastructure: Our college has very good facilities like labs, classrooms, and a library. Many students utilize every facility in our college. There are grounds for sports. The food in our hostel is very good. Medical help is immediately available. Those who are interested in sports are very benefited.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are highly qualified, like our class teacher, who has a Ph.D. They are very helpful and friendly. The way of their teaching is very good, which leads the students on the right path, making them ready for the industry. The difficulty level is based on the students, and the pass percentage is 40 percent.
Other: I chose the ECE course because I am interested in electronics and communication technology. It is based on my opinion. Many events and fests are conducted by our branch, which are very exciting and helpful. They teach with laughter.

Overall review of my college is good.
Placements: The placements are good at GMRIT in Electronics and Communication Engineering. The highest package was 20 LPA, and the lowest package was 2 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Infosys, Wipro, and TCS. 95 per cent of students got placed in Electronics and Communication Engineering.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of GMRIT college is good, and the classrooms are provided with good equipment, such as projectors. It has a central library with a vast collection of books and a digital library. The hostel in GMRIT college is hygienic and clean. They encourage the students in sports.
Faculty: Most of the faculty here are good. They encourage students to develop new projects and help students clear their doubts. The curriculum is based on the topics required for the internship in Electronics and Communication Engineering. The semester exams are very hard.

Overall college is the best and nicest place to increase skills and have a good life for a student.
Placements: 80 percent of students are placed, the highest package this year is 16LPA, the average package offered is 3.5 LPA, and the prominent role is system engineer. Many of the students got a chance at internship and many of them have good skills, so the roles given to the students are good. So its a good college.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is excellent and we also have a digital library, excellent classrooms, and a sports arena. The food in canteen is also very hygienic. Our college also provides facilities for all sports. There is also emergency medical room.
Faculty: Teachers are fully qualified and have an excellent knowledge of subjects. The curriculum is very helpful with respect to industry. Exams are held very strictly and are conducted under surveillance. 80 percent of students passed in the semester.
Other: College is a very excellent environment, Electronics and communication engineering is going to be a big thing and has many career opportunities.

Placements and fewer events, and no flash mobs, these are the dissatisfactions.
Placements: Till now we are 3rd years, so we don't have any placements yet, but in 4th year, drives will happen. Some companies are coming, and people are getting placed, but tie-up companies are less compared to past years. I think they can improve it for next year’s students.
Infrastructure: Good facilities compared to other colleges. It could be better if hostels are maintained a bit better. The food in the canteen is much better than the food in the hostels. They can add more variety of food items in the canteen and also increase the number of seats.
Faculty: Some faculty members are good and friendly, and they are very good in communication with students. The semester exams are a bit difficult, but we can manage to pass the exams. If we score better in internal and external exams, we can score better in the semester exams.
Other: Events are less. The cultural events in the college are very few. Maximum, there could be 3 or 4 per year.

My college is very enjoyable for studies, sports, and extracurricular activities.
Placements: 50% of students are placed in my course. The highest package is 20 LPA, the lowest is 3 LPA, and the average is 8 LPA. Recruiting companies are Infosys, L&T, HCL, Accenture, and Wipro. 30% of students get internships through my course. Roles include developer and tester.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure available for my course include Wi-Fi, classrooms, and a library, all of which are good. The quality of facilities in my hostel is nice. The quality of food in the mess and canteen is good. Medical facilities are available.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is wonderful and very nice. The course curriculum is relevant and makes students industry-ready. The semester exams are not very difficult, and the pass percentage is 70%.
Other: I chose this course because I am interested in hardware-related things. The best thing is that it is integrated with electronics. I wish to improve my logical thinking skills related to my course. Events and fests are conducted yearly, 3 to 4 times. The campus has a huge crowd, the surroundings are nice, and scholarships are provided.

A short review of my college.
Placements: Around 70 percent of our seniors got placed this year from our department. The highest package is 12 LPA, and the lowest package is 3 LPA. The average package is 3.5 LPA. Top companies like TCS, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, and Infosys visited our college. Around 248 members got selected in the Infosys campus drive held at our college. Around 40 percent of my seniors got internship opportunities at Infosys. Roles offered by the companies are mostly software-related jobs.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are well-equipped with projectors and moderate Wi-Fi support. Labs are well-equipped. There is a vast library with numerous collections of books. Hostel facilities are clean with reliable utilities. Mess and canteen food are decent. Medical aid is available on campus. It supports major games.
Faculty: Faculty members in our department are knowledgeable and qualified. They help us in solving our queries. The course curriculum is well designed with relevant industry skills, but it mostly depends on theory rather than practical exposure. Semester exams are moderately difficult but fair, with a generally high pass percentage for regular learners.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in embedded systems. The best part of my college is our library, which has a huge collection of books and resources. I wish the college would conduct more industry tours and internships. Usually, events happen only once a year. The campus crowd is cheerful and friendly.

A short review of an ECE Aspirant in GMRIT Caste.
Placements: In my college, around 75% of the people got placed from my department. The highest package was 12 LPA, and the lowest was 3 LPA. The average package lies around 3 LPA. Many top companies like Tech Mahindra, TCS, Wipro, Infosys visited our college this year. Around 40% of our seniors got internship opportunities in TCS and some core startups. The roles offered were mainly in VLSI, Embedded Systems, and Software fields.
Infrastructure: Though our college was a reputed institute, the classrooms in our department were poor. There were no proper signals received by our department, and the campus Wi-Fi strength was too weak in our department. We have a huge library with a vast collection of books. The hostel rooms and hostel food were not worth the price we paid. Sport facilities are great, and medical support is available.
Faculty: Our department faculty were well qualified and educated, but didn't deliver the content clearly. They mostly rely on textbooks and simply dump the textbook theory that they have prepared. The curriculum was well designed, but mostly it focuses on theory rather than practical industry exposure. The semester exams are moderate in nature, and by writing the textbook content, we can get good grades. The pass percentage in our class lies around 75%.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in Embedded systems and connections. The best thing about the college was some faculty who were supportive and helped us in every situation. I wish there were more industry tours and internships to boost the students' morale. The crowd was friendly, and cultural events only happen twice a year in our college.
