Short review of GMRIT College.
Placements: On our campus this year, nearly 248 members were selected for Infosys. The recruiting companies are Infosys, TCS, Tech Mahindra, JSW, and HCL. Nearly 70% students passed last year. 36 LPA is the highest package to date. We have an internship for one month in the 3rd year starting.
Infrastructure: We have labs available during our lab hours, and we have well equipment in our labs. We have projectors in our classrooms. We have hospitality near our campus, and it is easy to access the facilities. The hostel is charging more money than the value of the money.
Faculty: Lectures teach only theoretical knowledge, rather than practical knowledge. It is only helpful for passing semester exams, the knowledge provided is not used for campus placements. Exams are okay for passing, but you need to study to get a good grade. The curriculum is not so updated to technologies.

Short review of our college.
Placements: On our campus this year, nearly 248 members were selected for Infosys. And the recruiting companies are Infosys, TCS, Tech Mahindra, and Cognizant. Nearly 50% of students got placed last year. 40 LPA is the highest package till now. We have an internship for one month in the 3rd year, starting, and in the final year for a full semester.
Infrastructure: We have labs available, and we have a LAN connection in labs only. We have a vast library with a variety of books. We have projectors in our classrooms. We have GMR Care Hospital near our college. The hostel is not so good for the value of money, but it's not bad.
Faculty: Lecturers teach only the knowledge required for passing exams. Practical knowledge is provided, but up to the mark of placements. The course curriculum is not so updated to technologies. Semester exams are not so tough to attempt, but we need to study hard to get good marks.
Other: We mostly have 2 events every year, and we celebrate Stepcone, our signature event, grandly.

Positive campus life and growing opportunities.
Placements: Our college brings good companies for placements. The average package is around 5 LPA-6 LPA, and some students get higher offers. We get helpful support like aptitude classes, mock interviews, and coding clubs. Internships are mainly in the final year; earlier internship chances would make it better. The highest package is 27 LPA, and the lowest is 3 LPA.
Infrastructure: Our department has good labs, Wi-Fi, and clean classrooms. The library has enough books and a calm study space. Hostel rooms are okay and well-maintained. Mess food is average but manageable. We have a health center for basic needs and good playgrounds for sports and games.
Faculty: Faculty are helpful and explain topics according to bookish knowledge. Most teachers are well-qualified and guide us in projects. The curriculum is mostly relevant and supports skill development. Semester exams are moderate with regular study, it is easy to pass. The pass percentage is generally good.
Other: I chose this course because I am interested in programming and learning new technologies. The teachers are supportive and encourage practical learning. I feel it would be even better with more industry visits and early internship opportunities. The campus events, fests, and extracurricular activities are enjoyable and help students grow.

A good, practical and career-oriented CSE experience.
Placements: My college provides decent placements with training for interviews and communication skills. Several Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, and Cognizant visit the campus, offering roles in Software development and support roles through the placement cell. The highest package of our college was 28 LPA, the lowest package was 3 LPA, and the average package was 4 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of my college was good. We have well-equipped labs, Wi-Fi, smart classrooms and a good library. The hostel is decent, the rooms are clean, and the mess food is okay. Sport facilities are available, and medical support is provided on campus.
Faculty: The CSE faculty is supportive, qualified and explains concepts according to the bookish knowledge. The curriculum is updated with industry topics like coding, DBMS, and AI. Semester exams are moderate if we follow classes and practice, we get good grades. Probably most students clear exams with good grades.
Other: I chose CSE because of my interest in programming and the good placement scope. The course teaches useful technical skills and offers coding events and hackathons. Campus life is friendly with fests and clubs. I wish there were more advanced labs and more industry-based workshops. Overall value for money.

GMRIT is a decent college with good facilities and faculty. It needs better placements and exposure.
Placements: Around 55% of students from the ECE branch got placed. The highest package is about 10 LPA, the average is around 4.5LPA, and the lowest is 3 LPA. Major companies included TCS, Infosys, Wipro, and Capgemini. Internships are offered to around 30% of students, mostly in IT roles.
Infrastructure: The college has decent infrastructure with Wi-Fi, well-equipped labs, smart classrooms, and a good library. However, Wi-Fi connectivity is sometimes slow. Hostel facilities are average, and the mess food quality could be better. Sports and medical facilities are available but need improvement.
Faculty: Most of the faculty members are qualified and supportive, but the teaching quality varies across departments. The curriculum follows JNTU standards and is more theory-based than industry-oriented. Semester exams are of moderate difficulty. The pass percentage is 85-90 percent.
Other: I chose ECE because it offers both hardware and software career options. The campus environment is peaceful with good greenery and frequent cultural and technical fests. However, placement support and practical exposure can be improved. The crowd is friendly, and scholarships are available for eligible students.
