This is one of the top colleges in our districts.
Placements: Around 85 percent of the students get placements and this year Infosys company recruits around 300+ students, and this is the first time in GMRIT. Average package each student gets is around 3 LPA. Infosys, Cognizant, TCS etc. are the top recruiting companies from our college.
Infrastructure: In our ECE department all the facilities are good and the labs are top-notch. Classrooms are also very neat and clean. There's no availability of Wi-Fi in our branch, but we can connect LAN to our college which is provided by the college. There's also a departmental Library in our branch. Coming to the canteen, sports and games, these offer a very good mind refreshment.
Faculty: Faculty members are very helpful during the exams and also clear all our doubts in the subjects. They all are well qualified and knowledgeable. They make the students industry ready. The semester exams are also a bit medium and the pass percentage is about 80 percent.
Other: ECE is the best core branch in engineering from my POV. There are around 3 clubs in our ECE department, and these 3 clubs conduct different events.

Good infrastructure, but don’t join by management, join with the EAMCET rank.
Placements: 68 members get placed in ECE in the latest batch, and the percentage of placements is good at 70 percent. As per the seniors, the highest package is around 9 LPA in Infosys, and the lowest is about 3.5 LPA in Infosys. The roles offered, as per consideration, we don’t know much about. Internships are obtained by 50 percent of the seniors, and they don’t pay any stay fund in return.
Infrastructure: Facilities overall are good. The mobile network is not good at all inside the classrooms, but Wi-Fi in the labs is very good. The library is open till 10 PM in the evening. About the college hostel, the hostel facilities are overall good, but they are not worth the high fee. Food is okay, but they charge high fees for hostel rooms. Other than that, everything in the hostel is good.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and help some students to clarify their doubts. The teachers are qualified, but some assistants are a little dumb, while others are good. I don’t have a good idea about these teachers regarding preparing students to be industry-ready, students need further practice to go to the industry. Exams are good, if we try a little hard, then we can pass.
Other: This course is chosen by my father. I have a little interest in this course, but I think I should learn more deeply about the topics and the ongoing courses in a little more depth to get a good understanding and improve. My college has very few fests, but some events inside the college happen. Around 4,000 members attend the college fests. Campus surroundings are clean. First-year students can get some scholarships.

Placements: 2022-26 batch, B.Tech at GMR Institute of Technology, 95-97 percent of students got placed, nearly 98 percent. In 2024, the highest package was 40 LPA at Amazon, and the lowest was nearly 3.5 LPA. Top recruiters are Amazon, TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, Accenture, and Capgemini. 80-90 percent of students interned and many PPO roles are offered.
Infrastructure: GMR Institute of Technology ECE department has excellent facilities like campus-wide Wi-Fi -LAN, modern classrooms with projectors, CCTV, a well-equipped, and central library. Hostels are clean and spacious, the mess and canteen food are hygienic and satisfactory. On campus medical centre with doctors, extensive experience in sports, and a gym. Overall, top-notch infrastructure.
Faculty: GMR Institute of Technology students are highly qualified, knowledgeable, very helpful, and approachable for doubts and mentoring. Teaching quality is excellent, interactive, practical, and focused with labs. The curriculum is relevant, autonomous, updated regularly with projects and industry input to make students industry-ready.
Other: 2022-2026 batch B.Teach ECE at GMR Institute of Technology. I chose for job opportunities, innovation, and passion. Best placements, the highest package, practical labs, updated cloud curriculum, great faculty, internship opportunities, and PPOs. Better to improve more core firms, advanced electives, and flexible grading. Stepcone fest is vibrant, with a crowd, clubs like Music Club and NSS, sports, a green rural campus, good connectivity, and scholarships.

I am absolutely satisfied with my college, and its environment is peaceful and pleasant.
Placements: I am Pasupula Joshitha, and I am in the batch of 2025–2029 in the ECE branch. The placements in our college are good, about above 90 percent. The highest package reached up to 40 LPA, and the average package is about 4.5 LPA. The top recruiting company is GMR itself. This is most of my knowledge about our college.
Infrastructure: Our college has very good facilities like labs, classrooms, and a library. Many students utilize every facility in our college. There are grounds for sports. The food in our hostel is very good. Medical help is immediately available. Those who are interested in sports are very benefited.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are highly qualified, like our class teacher, who has a Ph.D. They are very helpful and friendly. The way of their teaching is very good, which leads the students on the right path, making them ready for the industry. The difficulty level is based on the students, and the pass percentage is 40 percent.
Other: I chose the ECE course because I am interested in electronics and communication technology. It is based on my opinion. Many events and fests are conducted by our branch, which are very exciting and helpful. They teach with laughter.

Overall review of my college is good.
Placements: The placements are good at GMRIT in Electronics and Communication Engineering. The highest package was 20 LPA, and the lowest package was 2 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Infosys, Wipro, and TCS. 95 per cent of students got placed in Electronics and Communication Engineering.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of GMRIT college is good, and the classrooms are provided with good equipment, such as projectors. It has a central library with a vast collection of books and a digital library. The hostel in GMRIT college is hygienic and clean. They encourage the students in sports.
Faculty: Most of the faculty here are good. They encourage students to develop new projects and help students clear their doubts. The curriculum is based on the topics required for the internship in Electronics and Communication Engineering. The semester exams are very hard.

Overall college is the best and nicest place to increase skills and have a good life for a student.
Placements: 80 percent of students are placed, the highest package this year is 16LPA, the average package offered is 3.5 LPA, and the prominent role is system engineer. Many of the students got a chance at internship and many of them have good skills, so the roles given to the students are good. So its a good college.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is excellent and we also have a digital library, excellent classrooms, and a sports arena. The food in canteen is also very hygienic. Our college also provides facilities for all sports. There is also emergency medical room.
Faculty: Teachers are fully qualified and have an excellent knowledge of subjects. The curriculum is very helpful with respect to industry. Exams are held very strictly and are conducted under surveillance. 80 percent of students passed in the semester.
Other: College is a very excellent environment, Electronics and communication engineering is going to be a big thing and has many career opportunities.

Placements and fewer events, and no flash mobs, these are the dissatisfactions.
Placements: Till now we are 3rd years, so we don't have any placements yet, but in 4th year, drives will happen. Some companies are coming, and people are getting placed, but tie-up companies are less compared to past years. I think they can improve it for next year’s students.
Infrastructure: Good facilities compared to other colleges. It could be better if hostels are maintained a bit better. The food in the canteen is much better than the food in the hostels. They can add more variety of food items in the canteen and also increase the number of seats.
Faculty: Some faculty members are good and friendly, and they are very good in communication with students. The semester exams are a bit difficult, but we can manage to pass the exams. If we score better in internal and external exams, we can score better in the semester exams.
Other: Events are less. The cultural events in the college are very few. Maximum, there could be 3 or 4 per year.

My college is very enjoyable for studies, sports, and extracurricular activities.
Placements: 50% of students are placed in my course. The highest package is 20 LPA, the lowest is 3 LPA, and the average is 8 LPA. Recruiting companies are Infosys, L&T, HCL, Accenture, and Wipro. 30% of students get internships through my course. Roles include developer and tester.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure available for my course include Wi-Fi, classrooms, and a library, all of which are good. The quality of facilities in my hostel is nice. The quality of food in the mess and canteen is good. Medical facilities are available.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is wonderful and very nice. The course curriculum is relevant and makes students industry-ready. The semester exams are not very difficult, and the pass percentage is 70%.
Other: I chose this course because I am interested in hardware-related things. The best thing is that it is integrated with electronics. I wish to improve my logical thinking skills related to my course. Events and fests are conducted yearly, 3 to 4 times. The campus has a huge crowd, the surroundings are nice, and scholarships are provided.
