It is one of the best colleges in Goa with good facilities, infrastructure, and the best teachers.
Placements: There are no placements provided in our college. After 4 years of studies, everyone has to serve a paid internship followed by a bond year, after which if we can answer NEET PG to get the PG seats. There are 9 departments and has 2-3 PG seats each. It is difficult to get a PG seat.
Infrastructure: The college and hospital are operated together. There are only a few lecture rooms. The library is good, and the canteen is very good. The food served is clean and affordable. Labs are also quite good. But books and other items have to be bought by self. There are network issues in college.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are very good and professional. They are very knowledgeable, helpful, and strict. There are a lot of practicals conducted, and these prepare students for clinical work. There are also patients exposure right from 3 rd year.
Other: I chose BDS as I didn't get MBBS, but I realised that BDS is a very skill-based course and should be taken only if one is passionate and is willing to take this as a career. It's difficult and needs lots of hard work. College also allows us to participate in fests and competitions. They also conduct some timely events.
