Candidates must, therefore, be very careful while marking their answers on the NEET OMR sheet. It is often seen that students make silly mistakes while filling the bubbles on their OMR sheets. A few important pointers related to the OMR sheet of NEET are given below, these will help students mark their responses better.

  • Blue or black ballpoint pens will be provided to the students at the NEET exam centres. Students are not allowed to carry a pen to the centre and have to mark their responses using the pen provided at the centre only
  • The correct way to mark the response is to fill the entire bubble. This will be considered a valid response.
  • If a bubble is semi-filled, it will not be considered a valid response. Such responses will not be graded
  • The marking must be confined to the circle only. Smudging or overfilled circles will not be graded

JEE and NEET are both held on an annual basis, and with limited seats, passing these exams becomes more difficult for students. Furthermore, the number of seats in medical colleges is much lower than in engineering colleges. Due to the lesser number of seats available in medical colleges and the high level of competition in NEET getting into a good medical college is challenging. As for difficulty level, National Eligibility cum Entrance Test is slightly tougher than Joint Entrance Examination-Mains but easier than Joint Entrance Examination-Advanced, but that is subjective, as seats are comparatively limited in National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, making it more competitive. Least Difficult: JEE Mains. Difficult: NEET. Most Difficulty: JEE Advanced. I hope this will help you.
