Our college needs to have a few improvements, but overall, it is great.

Placements: Our college doesn't help much with placements for this course as it is not a professional course. However, I think that our college can help its students to get better internship opportunities. Our college is surely not a place to get good placement opportunities.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is in a reasonable and appreciable condition. Our college is trying to improve its infrastructure every now and then, which is a good thing. Our college has a very good library, and books for every topic are available in the library.

Faculty: In our college, faculty members of our course are very helpful, qualified and supportive to their students. They are always ready to help and approach personally. They are extremely well educated. The course curriculum does not make students industry-ready, but it is good to understand all the basics and build a very good foundation. It lacks practical knowledge.

I love GGDSD because of its crowd, infrastructure and extracurricular activities.

Placements: The placement cell of SD college is not active. The placement rate is very low, i.e. it is 20-30% only. Students don't want to sit in placements because the packages offered here is very less, i.e., Rs. 1.5 LPA to Rs. 3.5 LPA. So, it's not worth sitting in placements having a PG degree.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of GGDSD college is ultimate. There will be proper hygiene in the washrooms. The rooms here are very spacious with proper benches and projectors, but the canteen is small as compared to the strength. Also, the auditorium is ultimate. There will be proper greenery in the campus, and the availability of the Wi-Fi is to all the students.

Faculty: The faculty of the GGDSDC is not very good. Many teachers are very helpful and educated, but some other teachers are very lethargic. They don't want to teach as they came for the salary that's why students ratio is also low in teachers class, otherwise the strength is good.

Other: The campus crowd of my college is very good. That's the reason for me for going to the college. Extracurricular activities, events and fest are at its peak. This college also provides scholarships to toppers and low-income students.

Good infrastructure. Top 15th in India Today's survey for the best college in India.

Placements: The placements were not up to the mark. Not many companies visited. The percentage of students who got placed were low, about 25% students got placed. Mostly financial institutions and training institutes visited the campus. The roles offered were of financial advisor, analyst, auditor, etc. The internship was provided by Ernst and Young only.

Infrastructure: The college has free Wi-Fi. It also has an online digital library that students can access using their college IDs. The quality of labs IS good and the specimens and equipment are updated. The classrooms are top-class with most of the classrooms having air-conditioning facility. The college has two canteens.

Faculty: The faculty is very knowledgeable and are all mostly UGC grant professors. They use the traditional and modern techniques in classroom teaching. As each classroom has a projector, along with the on-campus Wi-Fi, each topic is briefly discussed. The student-faculty ratio is 45:1.

Other: The college upgraded its NAAC grading to A in the year 2017. It has also been listed on number 15 in the India Today's review in India's top college for commerce courses. The college has an eco-friendly campus with a huge playground, two auditoriums and each department having more than 2 seminar halls.

Reviewing and exploring college life.

Placements: Placement in this college is very limited. Only a few companies come to this college. The companies are basically from the Mohali and Panchkula side. The placement process is paper-based in this college. Few students get selected through these placements. Most students have to find placements themselves.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure of this college is very good. Each department has its separate block. The library is spacious and well-equipped. Hostel life is also good. Proper meals are provided to students in the hostel mess, which is very neat and clean. The college also provides proper medical facilities. Sports tournaments are regularly held on campus.

Faculty: Faculty is very helpful and well-educated. The teachers have earned a Ph.D. in their respective fields. The exams are moderate. Students can easily clear their exams. The passing percentage is 33% out of 100%. 20 marks are for the internal assessment, and 80 marks are for the paper.

Other: This course is very interesting. The best thing about the course is that you have to write a research paper, which is very useful. There are a lot of fests in this college. The college is very crowded during the fests.
