Best Government college of Palakkad.
Placements: I passed out in 2023. There are no campus placements there, but some campaigns and sessions are being started by some of the departments. But no guarantee. There are no internship opportunities.
Infrastructure: Electronics lab and class, the whole department is good. There is a separate hostel for girls and boys. The college has its own scenic beauty.
Faculty: Electronic department has the most qualified teachers. They have well-trained teachers and are always ready to solve our problems related to the curriculum. They are up-to-date regarding the latest inventions, especially our department head, Dr. Nishamol.
Other: No doubt you can get good campus life as the college is famous for its river inside and it has the most beautiful entrance.

Excellent faculty members and environment.
Placements: 10 percent of students were placed. The highest package offered was 8 LPA and the lowest was 1.5 LPA in mostly cooperative societies or sectors.
30 percent of students got internships in various business fields. The top roles offered were managers and accountants.
Infrastructure: No Wi-Fi facilities are there.
Classrooms, labs and libraries are pretty good.
Toilets for boys are smaller in number.
The available restrooms were ugly and not maintained properly.
The hostels were good and maintained properly.
The food was neat, clean and hygienic.
Canteen food and snacks are affordable.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, and taking classes is excellent. Clarifying doubts and taking care of students in a proper way. Semester exams are moderate and the pass percentage is a minimum of 80. The participation of students in various activities is always seen here.

Best college in Palakkad with a good campus.
Placements: This is a government college. There are no campus placements provided. However, in the 3rd year, students get opportunities for internships and industrial visits. This course is useful for jobs in cooperative banks and is also relevant for professional courses like CMA and CA. Most students secure internships with cooperative banks.
Infrastructure: Every department has Wi-Fi connectivity and provides separate labs and a library. The college has the largest library in Palakkad. There are separate hostels for men and women, along with separate canteens that offer good food. A dedicated women’s cell is also available, offering additional medical facilities for female students.
Faculty: All the teachers are well-qualified in their subjects and very helpful for students’ careers and exam preparation. This college is affiliated with Calicut University, so the semester exams are conducted according to the university’s guidelines. The semester exams are not very easy, but most students pass without having to take supplementary exams.
Other: This course is useful for some professional jobs and also opens opportunities in banks. The campus is environment-friendly and offers scholarships, NSS, NCC, and more. There are also good festivals, dance programs, and other cultural events.

Review of Government College, Chittur.
Placements: Students securing 80 to 90% get selected. Wipro and Infosys are the top companies for B.Com as analysts. College does not have campus selection. After graduation, students should try their best to get a job.
Infrastructure: Commerce department consists of 3 classes, a computer lab, a staff room, a department library, a scribe room, a computer lab, and 2 washrooms for girls. Hostel is good. Food in the mess is nice. Canteen is well maintained and serves tasty and healthy food and snacks.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and great. They have the best teaching quality. If you study hard you will surely pass.
Other: I chose B.Com cooperation to attend the cooperative bank examination and get a job according to the course. Campus is like heaven on earth. It is a party base college. Scholarships are granted to students according to the satisfaction of the conditions applied. Events, fests, activities, etc., are enjoyable and memorable.

Government College Chittur is pleasing to the eye with a beautiful large green campus.
Placements: A good number of students get recruited by companies, and the majority of students opt for PG after this. Our senior has been selected to do a course along with an internship at IIT Palakkad. There is still a major portion of students who stop here with this degree and go seek jobs elsewhere. Yearly, there are sessions conducted in the college to showcase the amazing possibilities in this field, with research being the best of it and the teaching profession being the most common among them. Many students have qualified for JRF and Net.
Infrastructure: Being a government college doesn't make this college less than any other college. It has its own huge infrastructure and proper facilities. Coming to physics, the department is one of the oldest and best in the college. It has a department library of its own, in addition to the college library, consisting of a large number of worthwhile books by both Indian and foreign authors for reference. The classes are spacious, well-chaired, with a good number of fans, big windows, etc. There are Wi-Fi labs, and college Wi-Fi is available in and around the college building premises. There is a canteen facility inside the campus. The quality of the food has never been an issue there, but there has never been any variety in the dishes served. Very rarely did we find any snacks and other drinks available there. It usually serves only meals, both vegetarian and non-vegetarian. The hostel facilities are not bad. They have enough room for students. The sanitary facilities are adequate. The hostel buildings are situated in a super green environment, which makes it a very happy place to dwell. The hostels, both men's and women's, are near to the academic building and yet separated from the buzz of the college. The quality and quantity of the food served here are also good. Sports are taken seriously in college, and students with a sports background are given priority admission in the sports quota. There are a number of sports being practiced in the college, some of them being cricket, badminton, tennis, football, swimming, judo, wrestling, etc. Judo and wrestling are some of those sports areas which have won the college the most number of medals and awards across many events/competitions. There is a big football ground. There is a good swimming pool, but it's not the original size. The length is much shorter than the ones used by professional swimmers. There is an open badminton court in between the academic buildings. Medical facilities are something that the college doesn't provide up to the mark. Only basic first aid is available here. Any serious injuries should be taken to the nearby health care center, which is around three kilometres away.
Faculty: Teachers who teach in government colleges are truly knowledgeable and well educated as they are recruited through such tough criteria and procedures. The teaching quality is good. There are good, determined teachers to teach any subject. The course here gives enough light on mechanics and thus surely plays a good role in making students industry-ready. The semester exams are the worst part of this college as it is under Calicut University. No exams are ever conducted on time. There is a lag for everything here when it comes to exams. One would probably be studying for the third semester when the first semester exams are announced. It would continue further until the last moment, when every pending exam would be raining over the students one after the other in a very short period of time. Publishing the results would make the former feel better. The results are published too late, and the improvement/supplementary exam options are available but late and lagging like the other exams.
Other: I chose this course because I am preparing for defence entrance exams, CDS and AFCAT, for which a degree is mandatory and there would be questions on mathematics. This made this option the best for me because it does provide for all three needs. The things I wish could be improved are surely the conductance of semester exams and the publishing of results. More extracurricular activities and festivals could be added. There are a good number of fests and other activities that take place within the college, which also include film promotion. Many film stars regularly visit the college for their promotions, which becomes a celebration time for students. The visits of their stars are always accompanied by various events, competitions, and celebrations that the college conducts. Scholarship is one main attraction. There are many scholarships available for students throughout the duration. The staff of the college makes real efforts to ensure that all the eligible students avail their scholarships, which is very much appreciable. The very reasonable fee charges and availability of many scholarships are surely one of the main positives of this college.

My college is really a good one.
Placements: It is a government college that does not promote any placements. But the way of classes like careers is a good presentation. Also, we get a job in cooperative banks with this B.Com course. The college provides more orientation on what to select after B.Com. And it arranged final year students' internships and projects in cooperative banks.
Infrastructure: College provides good classrooms with fans, good air facilities, windows, etc. Also, fit good atmospheric and lighting facilities. Each department has toilets and some drinking water facilities. Each department has separate lab seminar rooms. And also provide an auditorium, both indoor and outdoor. The large separate hostels provide women and men with good food and rooms. Medical room also provides a separate women's cell.
Faculty: This college is under Calicut University. So the semester exam are held as per the orders from the university. Semester exam and results are published on time. Degree and PG courses are very useful for students to graduate. Teachers are educated one, and the way they represent themselves in classes is worth it.
Other: After B.Com, I want to engage in an accounting course. And B.Com operation is a good scope to clear cooperative bank exams easily without any other coaching. I like this campus life and good environment around classes. They also provide the Ed club, NSS, NCC, and other clubs. Students get more scholarships and also receive separate teachers to help with these types of scholarships.
