Fully satisfied with the infrastructure, placement opportunities, .

Placements: Placement is exceptionally good. Pre-placement offers are quite common in the third year itself, but placements in the fourth year also take place. Many students pursue M.Tech through the GATE examination in various institutions like IITs, NITs, and IISERs. Big recruiting companies like Microsoft, Wipro, Cognizant, Adobe, Uber, Zomato, Infosys, Capgemini, Tech Mahindra, IBM, and Oracle come to our campus for placements. Approximately 70% of the students get placed by the end of the fourth and fi...

Absolutely satisfied with the good placements, internship opportunities, and good faculty.

Placements: As our college is a Tier 3 college, it does not provide a good placement offer to the students. 30–40% of students are placed by on-campus placement. The highest package and the lowest package of our college are, respectively, 100000/annum and 30000/annum. The average package is 70,000/annum. Mainly Kolkata-based companies are visited in our college. In the case of internships, a smaller number of students get internship opportunities.

Satisfied with the quality of teaching.

Placements: As per claims of the college of full placement, it actually gives placement of about 70% students. The median package is 5.5 LPA while the highest and the lowest are 3 LPA and 10 LPA, respectively. Top recruiting companies include TCS, Infosys, and Cognizant. About 60% of students got internships from CSE and IT batches. Top roles include web developer, and project manager.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of placement cell.

Placements: Due to the recession this year, the placement record is too bad, and many of our seniors want to pursue higher studies. But I know the placement records of 2023. The low number of students in our college is the primary reason for the low placement reports. 42% were placed that year. The highest package offered that year was around 14 LPA, and the average package was 5.7 LPA. The recruiting companies are TCS, Capgemini, Infosys, and many leather companies. For CS and IT, SDE roles were offered....

Best government college in West Bengal.

Placements: For our batch in B.Tech Computer Science Engineering, approximately 80% of students were successfully placed. The highest package offered was around $100,000 per annum, while the lowest was $30,000 per annum. The average package stood at approximately $60,000 per annum. The top roles offered were Software Engineering.

GCELT through my eyes - 2022 to 2026.

Placements: In our college, the placement scenario is a little bit low as more numbers of students prepare for the GATE examination. In 2023, 42% of students were placed. The highest package was 14 LPA, and the average is 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Deloitte, Hexaware, Infosys, Oracle, etc. For more information, you can visit the LinkedIn profile of our college - GCELT.
