Aliah University BTech Eligibility & Highlights 2025
Aliah University offers a BTech programme at the UG level for 4 years. It is divided into eight semesters, and offered in full-time mode. The basic eligibility criteria required by the university to get admission into BTech courses is candidates must complete their Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Moreover, candidates have to secure at least 60% overall in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics taken together at Class 12 and at least 50% in Mathematics.
Aliah University BTech courses are offered in five specialisations- Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electronics and Communication, Computer Science Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. Moreover, the university also offers lateral entry to these mentioned courses for the duration of three years. Further, divided into six semesters. Aliah University BTech admissions are based on candidates' achieved scores in AUAT. Aliah University BTech Admission 2025: How to Apply?
Aliah University BTech course admission is entrance-based. The university accepts the scores of the WBJEE/ JEE Mains/ AUAT exam. Students who have secured valid scores in JEE Mains/ WBJEE are exempted from AUAT. If the candidate is applying through WBJEE, then they should follow the guidelines given by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board. Also, if candidates are getting admission through this examination, they are required to appear in the WBJEE counselling process and select Aliah University as their preferred choice.

Step 1.1: Visit the official website of Aliah University
Step 1.2: On the home page click on 'admission; from the menu bar. A drop-down menu will appear, click on 'undergraduate' from the list.
Step 1.3: Now candidates will be directed to the admission page, where a table with all the admission details and their links will be available.
Step 1.4: From the table click on the 'For online application' link, candidates will be directed to the admission page of Aliah University (aums.aliah.ac.in/).
Step 1.5: On the admission page, new users must click the online application form.
Step 1.6: Fill out the application form with all the required details.
Step 2: Release of Admit Card
The university released the admit card. The dates of examination and other important guidelines are mentioned on that admit card. As per the schedule, candidates are required to appear for AUAT and achieve a decent score.
Step 3: Release of Provisional Merit List
The provisional merit list/ result will be published and candidates have to download the rank card by logging in to the admission portal using their user ID & password.
Step 4: Provisional Allotment Letter
The university releases the provisional allotment letter and, candidates who enlisted in that provisional allotment can pay the admission fee online for seat confirmation. Many famous companies, like Pinnacle, RDC Cement, and Tega Industries, came and offered jobs. TPO did a great job. Basically every student goes for an internship".

Aliah University, New Town is a good university for the MBA course. Looking at the MBA fee, one can say that it is not very high. The total tuition fee for Aliah University MBA course is INR 59,400. Additionally, the hostel fee for MBA courses is INR 20,000. The ROI is quite good for this course.

Aliah University is a public/government university. Being a State university, the fee is not very high. PhD students even get scholarship assistance from the university. Being, a government university, the university placements are good.

Yes, Aliah University Kolkata is a UGC, AICTE, & NCTE approved university. Hence, it has to follow the rules that are established by the UGC (University Grants Commission).
