Our college has good and experienced faculty members.
Placements: Placements are good. They can do better. The placement cell tries its best. Over 50 students were placed. It is a good sign. Many students won't get jobs. The placement cell offers many internships. You get experience and better knowledge in the field.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite old. It needs to renew. They can make food a little tastier. They can introduce a new menu so that students don't get bored. They can make a few changes to the menu and add some snacks to it.
Faculty: The fee is reasonable. The teaching is very good. All faculty members have very good experience. They make it easy for us to understand the problems. They also help in studying well. Students can clarify their doubts. They share their experience with us.
Other: They conduct extracurricular activities.

The college lacks placements, infrastructure, and technical training, so I mostly learn on my own.
Placements: Basically, placements in tier-2 and tier-3 government colleges are not as good as those in top government institutions because companies tend to focus on the top colleges due to better skills and exposure. My college doesn’t even have basic placement opportunities. Also, as you know, mechanical engineering itself doesn’t have strong placement records, even in top private institutions. So, in terms of placements, my institution is definitely lacking.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure in my college is poor, as it is really impaired compared to tier-1 institutions, mainly because government engineering colleges receive little attention or improvement from authorities. My hostel is 2 km from the campus, forcing me to travel about 8 km daily for classes and lunch, which is exhausting and frustrating. The hostel conditions are even worse; the food quality is extremely bad, often containing insects and flies, and sometimes they even serve old food. Overall, both the infrastructure and hostel facilities make the experience very difficult and disappointing. These issues affect my daily routine and overall satisfaction with the college experience.
Faculty: The faculty members in my college are talented and genuinely good but their teaching methods are not very effective from my point of view. I feel I need more technical skills and practical learning which government colleges typically do not focus on. It would have been helpful if they had arranged industrial visits to top companies but I haven’t been taken on even one in my three years. I am learning mostly on my own with only minimal support from the faculty and the college. This lack of technical exposure limits my growth as a student seeking improvement daily.
Other: My father works in the mechanical field so he preferred that I choose this course and that’s why I decided to pursue mechanical engineering. It would be much better if the college taught industrial and technical skills and arranged industrial visits, as these would greatly improve our knowledge and help us build a clearer vision for our future.

The college offers good teaching and infrastructure.
Placements: My college doesn’t have many placement opportunities. Since I am studying Mechanical Engineering, the placement scenario is not very strong. Typically, government engineering colleges do not offer as many placement opportunities compared to private institutions, so students need to find jobs on their own. Otherwise, the college is good in terms of teaching and academics.
Infrastructure: Overall, the college is good. The buildings are nice. Classrooms and bathrooms are decent. I am a hosteller. My hostel is located nearly 1.5 km away from the college. Since the college is situated near the main road, transportation facilities are good. In terms of hostel and food, the conditions are quite poor. The food is very bad, and the rooms are average. There is also limited space available for washing clothes.
Faculty: Faculty members are really good. We have well-experienced teachers for both theory and lab sessions. However, there is a need for more advanced learning methods and modern industrial skill-based training to meet current industry requirements. No industrial visit is arranged for us so far, although a tour is organized once a year.
Other: I am pursuing Mechanical Engineering. I chose this course because my 12th cutoff makes me eligible mainly for this programme. Some of my seniors have been placed in reputable companies, while others find jobs on their own. So, the placement outcome is somewhat balanced.
