Candidates must have passed Bachelor Degree in Dental Surgery (BDS) awarded by a university or institute in India and registered with the State Dental Council and has obtained provisional or permanent registration and has undergone compulsory rotatory internship of a year in an approved/recognized dental college. Candidate who after passing the final qualifying examination (BDS or the foreign dental degree recognized by GoI/DCI), is undergoing 12-month compulsory rotatory internship / practical training and is likely to complete the same by 31st March 2025 can take up this examination, but he/she shall not be eligible for admission unless he/she has completed the compulsory rotatory internship and obtained provisional or permanent registration on or before 31st March 2025 or the candidate produces a certificate from the head of Institution that he/she will be completing internship by 31st March 2025.

Candidate must be a resident of UT of J&K or Ladakh as the case may be. Only such candidates shall be considered for admission for MDS Courses who have qualified NEET PG-2024, held by National Board of Examinations and figure in the Provisional Merit List. The DCI/SDC registration is mandatory for NEET- MDS 2024 qualifying candidates. Registration Certificate should be produced as per notice or as may be notified by the NBE. Candidate must have completed, by or before 30-06-2024, satisfactorily one year preregistration compulsory rotator internship in a duly recognized institution as laid down by the University of Jammu/University of Kashmir for registration as a Medical graduate for MDS Courses.
