Here is my review about my college, Government Engineering College, Bhojpur.

Placements: So its a newly constructed college so placement figure will be more clear after few years, but as of now, last year, hill edutech Pvt. Ltd. hired around 10 students from different branches with 6.4 LPA. The internship figure will also be more clear in upcoming years .

Infrastructure: The campus of this college is comparably small compared to any other government engineering college in Bihar. Wi-Fi facilities are not available in classrooms, and libraries have good labs that are well equipped; some more lab equipment is being installed and will be fully operational in a few weeks. The hostel is a mess, but the food is good, so there is nothing wrong with it.

Faculty: Teachers here are highly qualified; they are punctual and gave their full attention to students. The curriculum I feel is a little outdated, and I think it doesn't make the students industry-ready. The semester exams are moderate to tough. External are out of 70 marks, with 25 passing and the remaining 30 are of internal.

Other: So basically, I have an interest in automobile and machine-related things. Practical knowledge should be provided to students, and they should teach how to enhance communication skills. Events and fests are organized very frequently. So there will be no issue of fun .

I suggest you to join GEC Bhojpur.

Placements: As our college shares its campus with Bakhtiyarpur Engineering College, there is a good placement cell. Many companies like DRDO, Prism Cement, etc., hired our seniors with good salary packages. The placement cell is growing at a good pace. There is a good team in the placement cell.

Infrastructure: Hostels are available for both boys and girls, and there are 2 boys and 1 girls hostel with an affordable fee per annum, including food charges of around Rs. 45,000. Medical facilities are also available. There are a playground and some sports equipment.

Faculty: There are good teachers who are always ready to help. We are in the 4th semester, and we are getting good teachers in every semester. Here 4 branches are available in engineering, and they are civil engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and instrumental engineering.
