One of the top Colleges in Bihar with incredible academic records.
Placements: Almost 50% of the students are placed in our college with the highest package being upto 5 Lacs per annum. Students got positions of site engineer along with HR position for girls. Our TPO is doing a great work in placement orientations in our college by considering good companies for recruitments in our college.
Infrastructure: I am currently studying in GEC, Samastipur, in mechanical branch of the final year. We study about various topics related to mechanical engineering such as automobile, automation, engine, gear, toolbox, clutch and various gear mechanism including brakes and gear box and also various electives papers.
Faculty: All of the faculty comes through BPSC exam by giving interviews. They have all completed their M.Tech Degrees from top colleges such as IIM, NIT, IIT, IIIT etc. Their teaching quality is average but they have good knowledge. They don't really know to deliver their knowledge to the students.
Other: The college mainly has three clubs out of which one is related to cultural events known as UDAAN, one is related to technical activity known as ASIMO, and the last one is related to sports Known as AGAAZ.

The average packege of college campus placement is 1.2 Lacs if you tell me higher package is 3.6 Lacs package is the highest.
Infrastructure: Well the labs and classroom are fully furnished and well-equipped, Wi-Fi facilities are also available. The newly amde building are really good and well furnished. Food quality of mess is average. Sports events are happen regularly college has its own club Aagaz for sports.
Faculty: The teachers and professor are highly qualified because they all are come from BPSC exam. They have to qualify pre Mains and interviews itself. The course curriculum is relevant to the student industry. The level of difficulty of college exam is moderate or may be tough some time.

The college is good, and the campus is good but a bit small.
Placements: The first batch of this course is of 2019, and many companies come to the campus. More than 50% of the students got internships in government enterprises and government firms. Different roles are offered here.
Infrastructure: The college is good and is in an open area. There is no disturbance as the college is far from the main city. The college is under construction till February 2022, but the college is good and even has the hostels attached. A playground is available. Overall, everything is good.
Faculty: All the teachers are M.Tech graduates, or they are on a contract basis. Assistant professors taught us. But all the professors are from reputed universities or colleges. As it is a government college, all the professors are recruited by the government.
Other: Even year, all the clubs organise many events. The college has many clubs for games, technical activities etc. Government scholarships are provided to the eligible students.

Review of Government Engineering College, Samastipur.
Placements: Ours is the first batch of this college (2019-2023). I have chosen mechanical engineering. None of the students passed out from the college yet, as we, the first batch, are in the second year only. I studied in GEC Samastipur, but it has no infrastructure, so the government has ordered to teach its students in MIT Muzaffarpur, which is the top college in Bihar. So, we are getting lots of benefits from this college.
Infrastructure: We don't have our own campus as it is under construction. We studied on the campus of MIT Muzaffarpur as per government order. MIT Muzaffarpur is the top government engineering college of Bihar, and lots of facilities are here. It is a Wi-Fi enabled campus. Classrooms are digital and well floored. Many labs are available. A dedicated computer lab is available for students. Very good department labs are present. Two libraries are here. The hostel has a mess, and the food quality is good. No medical facilities are available, but many hospitals are present in about 100-meter diameter. Many sports activities and games are organised from time to time.
Faculty: All the teachers in MIT are excellent and are selected on merit only. They are very knowledgeable and qualified. The teaching quality is very good. GATE classes are organised for free, and many projects are organised to make students industry-ready.
Other: My batch is of 2019, and I am pursuing mechanical engineering. I chose this course because I was interested in machines, and this course allows me to learn about machines and do many activities to make machine and study machines. I wish there would have been some entrepreneurship subjects in my course. There are many events organised in this college, like Fiesta, Techmiti, sports, alumni meet etc. Some extracurricular activities like workshops are also conducted here.

It is a newly established government engineering college in Samastipur Bihar with high demands.
Placements: There are 60 students in our mechanical engineering course. It is a newly established government college in Bihar. It has started its first batch in 2019, so no batch has graduated till now. I think there would be good results in the salary package and recruiting companies.
Infrastructure: Currently, its infrastructure is under construction, and its temporary campus is MIT Muzaffarpur. All facilities are provided to us like Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, library, clubs, etc. In the hostel, two students are allotted in each room, and hygienic food is provided in the mess.
Faculty: Teachers here are highly qualified and knowledgeable. They are very supportive, helpful and provide a good quality of teaching. Training is also provided for students to make them ready for industry. Industrial visits are provided every year, and many educational clubs are available.
Other: I have chosen mechanical engineering courses as it has good interaction and proper environment among students. We have our own college techno-management fest and many clubs to grow up.
