Really satisfied with the college, great faculty, and good placement.

Placements: Almost 100% of students got placed in my course. The highest salary package was around 2 LPA. Placements come from TCS, Infosys, Wipro, etc. A 100% placement rate has been provided by Government Engineering College Dahod. The top roles offered were site engineers for BE students.

Infrastructure: The overall infrastructure of the college is very nice. Classrooms are huge and clean. Labs have almost all facilities and equipment, though the Wi-Fi can be slow sometimes in college. The library has a massive collection of books for all courses and also for GATE exams.

Faculty: The faculty have all mastered or obtained doctorates and have a lot of experience in teaching. They are very helpful and friendly. The course does not fully prepare you for the industry; you might have to do some internships outside of college to gain knowledge. The semester exams are very difficult, and the pass percentage is around 35%.

My college is good for me, because of free education and also provide economic hostel fees.

Placements: Government Engineering College-Dahod is located near Jalod road- Dahod. My college provides placement to around 20 to 25 students. GEC Dahod invited many industries and provide job to the student in the company. Computer Science students have good placement in my college.

Infrastructure: The government engineering College campus is so beautiful and big. Many blocks are available in my colleges such as different engineering departments, library blocks, and Wi-Fi. My college hostel facilities are good and economic and also the sports ground is good and the environment too.

Faculty: Government engineering College professors are mostly Ph.D. level of education qualified. All teacher are provide knowledge are so good and useful and practical are compulsory in particular subject. In my college all students are well in all semester examination.

Other: I chose civil engineering course. My course is very good value in government job such as class 2 officer in civil engineering.

Placements: Around 10% of students get placed in our college. The recruiting companies offer a salary of Rs.12,000 per month. Site engineer role is offered in our college. There are no reputed companies in our college. Placements provided in our college are not good.

Infrastructure: Building of our college is good. It is expanded in a very large area but it is in a forest-type area. Students are not allowed to go out after 9 PM. I recommend students not to take admission to this college. Facilities provided in our college are not good.

Faculty: Faculty members in our college are well experienced but students don't attend classes. Attendance is very less on campus.

It has a good educational environment and infrastructure.

Placements: We are trained to be placement-ready since the very first semester. Most companies keep the initial eliminating criteria as aptitude and our placement staff works hard every semester to cover all kinds of aptitude. My batch got the highest package to date- 30LPA, from Amazon which is a dream-come-true for every student. Apart from aptitude, there are levels of tests that evaluate us on how equipped we are with technical knowledge and aptitude alike. The average salary this year is 5-6LPA.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is beautifully designed, everything is so spacious. We have all the necessary facilities that one requires in a college. The labs are well-equipped and have state-of-art technologies. We have an amazing concept of Makerspace lab that has 3D printers, laser cutters, and all equipment you require to make your ideas come to life. The hostel is good, and the food provided in the canteen and hostel mess is good. We have a vast auditorium that can hold up to 1000 people at any time.

Faculty: Have done BCA because this course provides lots of opportunities in the computer field and want to work in the IT sector as a programmer or software developer. Teachers are experienced and their teaching quality is very good. Teachers are knowledgeable and experienced. Yes, the course curriculum is relevant to industry demand, and it makes me ready for an industry job.

It provides good faculty staff, but the infrastructure is not that great.

Placements: In computer, there is a lot of placements but for civil or mechanical hardly students get selected. But overall companies are there, but it depends on the student how well they perform in the interview round, and for other departments, it is also the same.

Infrastructure: Library and canteen are average in this college. Wi-Fi does not work most of the time. There is a lot of reference book related to the subject. There is also a great sitting area in the library for study. The canteen mess food is same as other colleges, they are average.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, and the hardness of exams are same as in other colleges. All the faculty members have done P.hDs and masters in their respective fields. The vivas and mid-terms are average most of the time. But the submissions are way harder.

I would recommend this college only for the computer branch.

Placements: Companies offering placements here are local and pay very low salary packages. It is better not to take placements here and find jobs yourself. The salary offered is Rs. 10,000 per month. Only one or two good companies come here, so there are minimum chances for getting a good job here.

Infrastructure: The hostel here is fine. There are games like badminton and table tennis. The food served is below average, and the canteen here is also below average. There is a good library and Wi-Fi is available on the campus. The departments here are pretty big and the classrooms are decent.

Faculty: Faculty members are pretty good and are very well experienced. They are very friendly and exams are conducted by GTU, so it depends on them. All the study curriculum is decided by them. But the curriculum is very old and needs to be improved. It gives good theoretical knowledge, but the practical knowledge is nill.

Other: There are a lot of events held around the year. Our college organises events and comes provides government scholarships.

It is a highly recommended government college.

Placements: More than 30% of the students were placed in our course. Most of the students got salary offers below Rs. 15000 per month. The highest salary offered was Rs.25,000 per month. Top recruiting companies are Collabera and Jaro. Around 10% of the students got internships at local companies.

Infrastructure: Each department had libraries, R.O filter, NAMO Wi-Fi, toilet, and also there was special staircase for students who might not able to up down the floor. There were two boys hostels on campus. The girls hostel was around 3 km away from college.

Faculty: There is extra duty performed by professors as well as a student leader of each department for sports, social events, etc. Definitely course of our department was relevant and make students ready for industries. Mid-term examinations remain quite difficult. The pass percentage is about 80 to 85%. Almost 2-3 years ago, one of the college departments got a place in the top ten ranks in GTU.

Other: If you want to be a civil engineer, this department of the college is very good. Professors of the civil department are highly qualified. So, students get their advantages.

Faculty members of our college provide practical knowledge also.

Placements: When I got admission in 2018, our college provided 100% placements. But in the previous year, many places are vacant. The highest salary package offered was 10 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 2.5 LPA. Neither any top recruiting companies visit our college. Very less percentage of students got internships in our civil course.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very good and is designed well. Every department is the same and is good. There is a garden on our campus and even there is a cricket pitch. Greenery is surrounded everywhere on the campus. The admission block is good and clean.

Faculty: Faculty members of our college are very helpful and they all have cleared GPSC. They give a knowledgeable solution to the questions. The teaching quality is very good, and they help students in every problem. The course curriculum is relevant, and it also makes the student industry-ready.

Other: I chose this course because I want to be a civil engineer. The best thing about this course is that we can work in the government and private sectors. There are many events held on our campus.
