This college is very good for education.
Placements: 10% of students were placed in our course. The highest package is 8 LPA, the lowest package is 3 LPA, and the average is 6 LPA. Birla and Adani are recruiting companies for our course. 20% of students got internships from our course in Adani as structural engineers.
Infrastructure: Our facilities and infrastructure are very good, with a very good culture and environment. Before classes, our college Wi-Fi system is very high-speed, and the library equipment and instruments are of very good quality. Our college sports system is also extensive.
Faculty: Our teachers and faculty are very helpful to the students, and mostly provide very good quality education. The mid-semester exams in the college are very easy, with mostly common good-quality papers. Most of our faculty are Ph. D.-qualified in their subjects.

Government Engineering College, Bhavnagar is the top-most engineering college of government.
Placements: In the Government Engineering College, Bhavnagar the lowest salary package offered is 3.6 LPA, and the highest salary package offered is 8 LPA. Companies like Adani, L&T, TCS, etc., visited the campus. The minimum percentile for campus placement is 60% for eligible for job campus. Minimum 35% of the students receive placements.
Infrastructure: In our department, all the facilities available are like free Namo Wi-Fi, sophisticated computer lab, good classrooms, library, etc. A hostel is available only for accommodation purposes. Even the hostel has a good infrastructure. Sports and games facilities are also available.
Faculty: All the faculty members in our college are GPSC class 1-2. exam and we also have GATE qualified faculty available.
Faculty members are technically sound in the subject matter. In our college, we have mid-term exams conducted by the department. The mid-term exam marks are counted in the final result. It is compulsory to pass the can mid-term exams.
Other: I opted for this college because it has excellent labs for civil engineering department.

It has good facilities, environment, placements, and facilities.
Placements: 20% of students got placed in my course. The highest package offered is 7 LPA. L&T and other small companies come here. 10% of students got placed in L&T, and some got placed in small companies but are good enough. Various roles are offered in our college.
Infrastructure: The hostel is very good. BSNL super-fast Wi-Fi is available. A canteen is available that provides healthy food. Medical facilities are good. The canteen is far away from the college hostel, and the food available in our canteen is very tasty, good and healthy, which makes us very fit and fine.
Faculty: The faculty members are excellent. This course curriculum is relevant. They give us many internship opportunities. Exams are not much difficult. The pass percentage is 12 marks out of 30 for mid-semester exams. The faculty members are highly qualified, well-experienced and are very good.

Review of Government Engineering College, Bhavnagar.
Placements: In our college, almost 99% of the student got placements in good companies with good salary packages. MNCs also visit our campus. Students of the computer engineering department are offered very huge salary packages.
Infrastructure: This college has good hostels for boys and girls. It is quite big and as well as good. There is a playground for playing outdoor games like cricket, etc. In the hostel, many students got their admission according to their cut-offs.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are the best. They are GPSC qualified persons, and they are a source of knowledge for us, and from them, we gained very good knowledge and their methods of teaching are also very good.

I am dissatisfied because of good faculty and all practical projects.
Placements: Almost 70% of the students in our course got placed. The highest salary offered is Rs. 30,000 per month. The average salary offered is Rs. 25,000 per month. The lowest salary offered is Rs. 20,000 per month. Our course is civil engineering then we planning of the building, town many structure planning and all tip of anger, and we make use of steel in consultation site etc. Many students did an internship.
Infrastructure: Our college provides Wi-Fi to the entire academic building. There are different types of labs for all department. Classrooms are huge and equipped with a projector. Our college provides hostel facilities for boy and girls, and the food served in good. There is a playground in the college.
Faculty: All the teachers in our college are helpful to all students. All the teachers have qualified GPSC exam. They are very talented. Civil engineering is very important department. We can learn how to make roads, highrise building planning and good facilities provided by some men.
Other: I have chosen this course because I am interested in civil engineering projects.

The infrastructure is good. One can get great knowledge from our faculty members.
Placements: I'm absolutely disappointed with the placements of our batch (2019). Our seniors got opportunities to participate in 2 to 3 campus interviews. We have a placement cell, and all the students who want to apply for placements should fill a form and submit to that cell. One of my seniors was offered a salary of Rs. 30,000 per month.
Infrastructure: Students get access to free Wi-Fi facilities. All the labs have new instruments for performing a test included in the courses. Our classrooms are enabled with good facilities. The college doesn't provide any sports facilities. However, they provide hostel facilities for both boys and girls. They built one hostel each for boys and girls, so students who are from outside Bhavnagar have no issues with the hostel.
Faculty: Our teachers have good knowledge, and they are highly qualified. They help students if any student faces any problem. Some faculty are also from IITs. The student to faculty ratio is around 45:1. My friends and I have visited different places for the survey project twice or thrice. The college organised different technical and nontechnical events recently.
Other: I am studying here since 2015, and they organised 2 state-level tech-fests until now. Even our department has organised its own fest. Scholarships are also offered every year.

Below average college, many come only for attendance, somehow placement is good.
Placements: Around 45% students are placed every year in our college. The highest package is of 6 Lacs and average is around 2 LPA. Company like Aadani, LNT, TATA and many more company regularly visits our college.
20 % of the students got internship from our college.
Infrastructure: There are no proper projector screens. Boards are not Cleaned, wi-fi is very slow. There no canteen in our college. Food is not provided by our college. Library is not having proper light and ventilation. Books are limited. Usually students play games inside.
Faculty: Teachers are good and they are helpful. They are experienced. Course curriculum is relevant and it makes the students ready for industry. The semester exams in this college are little bit difficult because of language barrier. Passing ratio is around 40%. .
