SSGEC is a great college.

Placements: Our college is a government college. It has no placement opportunities. Our HOD tried too hard for placement, but this isn't sufficient. The number of students placed is less compared to private colleges.

Infrastructure: The overall infrastructure is good. Our building is good. All the facilities are good. The staff for cleaning are also doing their jobs well. I am a day scholar. The hostel looks good from the outside.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is good enough. Submission of semester work is too hard for all students. The assistant professor is not well known, but HOD is well educated. All projects are good for students.

Other: Civil engineering is an evergreen branch of engineering. I highly recommend taking a civil engineering course.

This college is not good for core branches like civil and mechanical.

Placements: 10% of placement chances are available in our college. So, I don't recommend this college. The highest package offered is 10 LPA, and the lowest package is 1 LPA. I have no idea about internships. My favourite Reliance Infrastructure Projects is the top recruiter. I want to become a billionaire, so I selected this course.

Infrastructure: Our college has the best infrastructure and a satisfying library. The food is average. Medical facilities are available in the college.

Faculty: The faculty members are well-qualified and helpful, but some teachers are rude, and they don't teach well. The course is relevant, but due to insufficient students, the course is not fully completed. The pass percentage is 60% or below. Overall, I don't recommend this college.

Other: I want to design new and different infrastructure, but the college doesn't support me.

Our college has an average infrastructure but has good faculty members and value for money.

Placements: The top placements of our college were quite good. Every branch's students got salary packages. Faculty members of our college help us very well. In the civil engineering branch, companies like Ultratech, L&T and many more from national and state-level visit here. There is a good percentage of placements in hard branches also.

Infrastructure: Shantilal Shah Engineering College has many infrastructural facilities like a library with many different types of books and records, Wi-Fi facilities with very good internet speed, etc. Our college also has all basic infrastructure like clean classrooms, toilets, an air-conditioned laboratory, etc.

Faculty: Faculty members of Shantilal Shah Engineering College are very knowledgeable and known throughout the campus. Many of our faculty members are very kind and helpful. Many of them have knowledge of other fields like sports, cultural activities, etc. The course curriculum is very good.

It is the best college in Gujarat for engineering.

Placements: Our college has a good impression in our state, and placement chances here are higher than in other colleges. Many companies visit our college to hire students. So, Shantilal Shah Engineering College, Bhavnagar, has 80%-90% placements.

Infrastructure: Our college infrastructure is very good. It is a huge campus in Gujarat state. There are facilities like a canteen, library, various field labs, etc.

Faculty: Shantilal Shah Engineering College, Bhavnagar, has various courses in engineering like civil engineering, mechanical engineering, IT & IC, electrical engineering, production engineering, etc. There are very well teachers or professors here. Shantilal Shah Government Engineering College Bhavnagar is the best college for study in Gujarat, India. All students are very disciplined and mannered.

Do not take admission here unless you are great at self-studying.

Placements: Never take admission in this college because the faculty here do not teach properly. Experiments are not conducted, and none of the students got placed. I don't know which company comes to our college. No student has got an internship.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good, and all the facilities are available. The computer lab is very poor. High rendering software never runs. The labs are good, but practical sessions are not held. Wi-Fi facilities are available only in the computer lab.

Faculty: The faculty members are good, but they are not interested in teaching. You have to self-study. Some of the teachers have great knowledge, but they do not teach well.

Other: The infrastructure and course are good, but the study environment is not good.

I became a good and also smart working person here.

Placements: Nearly 10%-15% of the students got jobs through campus placements from our college. Companies provide a salary package of nearly 1.4 LPA, and few students got internships from our course. Various projects, practicals and every knowledge has been provided by the professors.

Infrastructure: Basic infrastructure is provided by our college like Wi-Fi, labs, sanitation, library, classrooms, gym, sports and many more. The food service is also very good in the canteen. Our college provides a ground to empower sports teams and also provide halls for cultural activities.

Faculty: Every professor here is kind and helpful to students in projects, practicals, labs and study. They are masters in their subjects. They made us eligible for the industry work, fieldwork and other works, which are related to the branch.

Review of Shantilal Shah Engineering College.

Placements: Placement and training department are available at our college. Placements are not conducted in our courses as well as the 2015 batch. Private construction companies are visited here for placements as per their requirements. In Bhavnagar, there are government engineering colleges, and the first one is our SSEC college, and it is located outside of the city in the village area. The second one is the GEC college, and it is in the city area. However, my experience at Shantilal Shah Engineering College is mixed but not bad.

Infrastructure: Our college provides all the facilities for an academic study like classrooms, libraries, computers, testing labs, Wi-Fi connectivity, workshop, all kind of surveying and civil engineering tools. The hostel facility is not so good but usable. Only boys hostel is available on the campus. I spent the first year of engineering in the hostel room, and I enjoyed the hostel life. The canteen and mess are not good.

Faculty: All the faculty members at our college are very helpful for our studies. Our college provides academic projects, seminars as well as technical curriculum. They all are highly experienced in relative fields and subjects. All the students are under good guidance. The mentoring of professors and students are get well to do the respective industry.

Other: I have chosen this course because I am inspired by my father as well as it is interesting with high demand. Placements and training are very important, but as I said earlier, training and placements are not provided here. All college activities like tech events, youth festivals and sports weeks are conducted. All types of scholarships are available related to the students and governments as it is a government engineering college. Technical visits are also conducted for engineering field experience.

Very much enjoying my journey at this campus striving to be better and achieving my goals.

Placements: In my batch of civil engineering the strength of students is about 120. The highest salary offered in our course is 180000, the lowest is of 20000 and the average salary is 55000. The top recruiting companies that visit our campus are Reliance, L & T pvt ltd and more. The roles offered are junior engineer and even managing engineer in rare cases. Our batch has been lucky since 50% of the students got internship in various companies in the summer vacation of 2nd year.

Infrastructure: Our college has different buildings for different courses with classrooms having facilities of lights and fans. The whole campus have Wi-Fi availability. The library has about 10000 technical books for various courses. The hostel mess as well as the college canteen have good quality food and snacks served.

Faculty: The teachers of our college are very well qualified with Masters as well in some cases Ph.D. degree as their qualification. Maximum teachers are very knowledgeable and good enough at teaching. The course outcomes are quite requisite of the skills in industries and thus giving the students overall development.

Other: The reason I choose this stream is my keen interest in the field, and since this field has vast scope, its a proud career. Technical fests are held once a year in our college every year, also annual day, sports week etc. They are very well organized.
