You can get a quality education here and placement as well.

Placements: This is a newly opened campus that's why there is no placement record available but it would be better within 1 or 2 years. There is a high chance to get a new internship and campus selection because this is a new college. The government will increase the campus record by sending different companies by which employment increase.

Infrastructure: New and well-maintained building and infrastructure available. Subject labs, lab instruments, and lab equipment are well equipped and carefully placed. Peaceful classroom with a maximum capacity of students without any inconvenience present. A nice environment for the library is available. A big playground is available for sports and physical activity.

Faculty: Great persons for teaching. Highly qualified and well knowledgeable teacher available. Great faculty members and well-behaved non-teaching staff. From peon to the principal, every person has very nice communication skills. You have to perform better for your semester exam.

Other: This course depends upon creativity level and well creation which makes itself interesting.

It is the best government college for the civil department.

Placements: It was the first batch to pass out from my college, so there are no placements in the college, but there are decent placement offers for students in the civil branch in other colleges of Bihar engineering. The highest and the lowest salary packages are not offered till now in the college as its first batch will pass in 2023. In other colleges, you can expect a salary package that ranges from 5-6 LPA in the civil branch. Larsen & Toubro is the top recruiting company in other colleges of the civil department. Almost 90-95% of students got an internship. I also got an internship in the road construction department. It provided many internships offers from other companies based in Mathura, Delhi, and Ghaziabad. I am currently not aware of the top roles offered in our college.

Infrastructure: Facilities are good in the college and infrastructure is also well developed. The building is good, and when you see it, you will fall in love with the building. Classrooms are also very spacious, airy and in well-condition. Wi-Fi is enabled in the whole college, and you can enjoy it 24x7. At night time, you will face some net speed slow down problems because, after college time, almost every student uses their phone. Our management is in touch with the Bihar government to establish high-speed Wi-Fi here. The library is also present in the college, and you can get access to it with the help of your library card. Almost every famous books, publications, and journals are present here. Hostel life is good, and you will enjoy it. In the hostel, about 2 students are allotted in 1 room. Rooms are huge, airy, and well-lightened. However, there is no cupboard installed inside the room, but our management has decided to install a cupboard in every room this year. Food served is good in the college, but you are surely going to miss the home food. There is a separate space for vegetarians and non-vegetarians. Medical facilities are also available in the college, and you are cured almost for free. Sports and games are over you. The college is new, so no sports meet happens. Once it becomes some older, it will surely organise a sports meet.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, and they are eager to help you any time. All the faculty members are well-qualified and experts in their own courses. Their teaching quality is very good, and you are going to surely fall in love with the teaching style of our faculty members. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes the students industry-ready. Semester exams are not so difficult if you study throughout the year, but if you have not studied, then surely exams are going to be hard for you. The level of questions asked is between easy and moderate. The pass percentage is almost 85%.

Other: I have chosen this course because I love civil engineering. If the Bihar government provides some extra budget, then college management on its own level can improve its best. Currently, no events are organised in the college because the college is new, but management has decided to organise events from next year onwards.

Review of Government Engineering College, Lakhisarai.

Placements: This year, the highest salary package offered is 6 lacs per annum and 6 students got this offer. About 15 -20 students got 3-4 lacs per annum offer. Placement is still going. For these placements, CS students did not get placements because CS is added in 2022 so hope next year will be a better placement than this year.

Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is like another engineering college that was established in 2019 by the government of Bihar. Hostels are available for both boys and girls but there is too much shortage of rooms for boys. If you take admission in BCECE 2nd round or first round even though UGAEC u may struggle for a hostel.

Faculty: Teachers are good. Their behavior is also good. The curriculum is just like other colleges nothing special and new semester exams are moderate if u study hard you may get a good CGPA. All faculty members are BPSC qualified most of them are Iitian and Nitian.

It is very good to take admission.

Placements: Civil engineering students get an average package whereas CS or other streams do not get any placement from here. Whereas all the students get internships via the college. Roles offered are leadership and supporting staff. Top recruiters are L&T and others.

Infrastructure: Classrooms are awesome whereas there is a major problem with electricity being shut down majorly. The library is well managed and comes with an AC faculty. The Wi-Fi network is strong but in some cases it slows down. Canteen food is very average and mess food is a total mess (dirt).

Faculty: Teachers are very well educated, qualified, and knowledgeable. The course is top-notch and makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are very hard to moderate level whereas there is a variation in the exam. The pass percentage is 50 percent.

Other: I like civil engineering and there is a very good scope in this sector.
