Honest review of GEC Gopalganj.

Placements: 30% of students were placed. The highest package offered in the course is 7 LPA, while the lowest is 3 LPA. Approximately 60% of students secured internships. Top roles offered in the course include Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, and Aeronautical Engineering.

Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi in the classrooms or hostels. Lab equipment is also not properly available. The library has only books related to the curriculum. The quality of food in the hostel mess is poor, and medical facilities are also lacking. Sports equipment is also limited.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful and qualified, especially in the Civil Department, and the teaching quality is moderate. Classes run on a daily basis, but the course curriculum is not very relevant. Semester examinations are conducted under CCTV surveillance, and the pass percentage is good.

Other: Civil Engineering has a vast scope for experiencing real-life events. The syllabus for all branches has been revised. The annual fest, Saraswati Puja, and sports events are also conducted.
