The best placement is available every year. The highest placement happened in 2021.
Placements: My batch is 19-23 for B.Teach in civil engineering. Almost everyone in my batch got placement. In my batch, the maximum package per annum was received at 7 lacs per annum and the least package per annum was received at 3 lacs per annum. The placement and teaching here is very good.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and hotel of my college are very good. Everyone gets hostel easily here. The mess facilities are also very good. Classrooms, library, and auditorium are here. The teaching experience here is very good. The playground is very nice.
Faculty: Faculty members are very good. They help all the students. They also help a lot in getting placements for all the students. All the faculty members teach all the students very well. They never face any problem as they grow holder. All the students remain very happy.
Other: Here you can choose any stream and study. Almost all streams are taught here, for example, civil, mechanical, electrical, computer, electrical and communications, etc.

Rivew of Katihar engineering College Katihar.
Placements: Placement opportunities in our college are less and the percentage is around 10-15. The placement cell is new and is not very active. Exact packages are not disclosed and are also not updated on the college's own website. Students prepare for off-campus placements, government jobs, GATE etc. Students are encouraged to enrol in Certificate programs provided by SWAYAM NPTEL. Students have to find internships on their own. Most students take course based internships like web development courses, UI/UX design, etc.
Infrastructure: Since our college is newly constructed, most of the facilities are still in the development phase. Building blocks are well connected. The classrooms are neat and clean. Wi-Fi facilities are not available. Library provides us with three books for the entire semester and students have to arrange the remaining books by themselves. There are no hostels, canteen or mess facility available on our campus. The sports ground is still in the development phase.
Faculty: Faculty members are quite knowledgeable and very helpful. They also encourage us and try to help in the best possible way by making use of resources available to them. Classrooms are held six days a week with four lectures per day. 15 days are enough to prepare for exams to score good marks. The course curriculum is similar to other engineering colleges.
Other: Seminars and webinars should be organised regularly to update and make students aware of the latest technologies. Hackathons, tech fest and cultural fest should be organised. The college is well connected via roads and is in the main town area. Loan opportunities are also available for the students through the BSCC scheme.

Our college is very good in all activities.
Placements: 60% of students got placed from our college. 16 LPA is the highest package offered in our course. Tata Project and Shaprooji Pallonji are the top recruiting companies in our course. Structural engineer, construction engineer, project manager, etc., are the top roles offered in our course.
Infrastructure: In our course, there are many labs like chemistry labs, physics labs, EGD labs, and English labs. There is also unlimited Wi-Fi available in our campus. Our classrooms are very big and good. The food of mess and canteen is good. There are all the necessary things available which are important to us.
Faculty: Our teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is very good and easy. The course curriculum is relevant and it makes the students industry-ready. Nothing is easy so exams conducted in our college are difficult but students are hard-working so they pass the exam easily.
Other: I chose this course because I want a career in civil engineering.
