Don't take admission in this college if you have other options.

Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and experienced, but their behaviour is not good. They do not care about students if they are in trouble. The teaching quality is average, not very good, but okay. This college does not make students industry-ready as it has recently opened. The college exams are not very difficult and are easy.

The college is still new but might become popular in the future.

Faculty: The teachers are well-qualified to teach this course; many have completed M. Tech and have teaching experience. The course is relevant according to the Jharkhand University of Technology and can make students industry-ready, depending on how engaged they are. Semester exams are not very difficult. The passing criteria is 21 marks in the external exam, with a total of 35 marks.

The college is still new but has potential to grow in the future.

The pass percentage is 33 percent.

Only come here if you have no other option in hand. It is a budget-friendly college.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful. They solve many problems in academic or non-academic areas, are well-qualified, and knowledgeable in their field. They lack in numbers absolutely not, the level of the course curriculum is not relevant to the industry level. Semester exams are easy to moderate. The pass percentage is 33%.

Absolutely dissatisfied with the hostel management and college faculty.

Faculty: Faculty is not very cooperative. They ask students to complete the syllabus on their own and do not focus on student performance. Students have different capabilities, but they are not supported. For example, a friend of mine presented a startup idea that teachers liked, and his team was selected for the next level and won Rs. 50,000 to start their project, but the principal kept the money. There is a shortage of teachers, and the teaching faculty is not committed to their work. They often skip ...

This is considered the best college under government-funded and PPP mode and halls

Faculty: According to seniors’ guidance and suggestions, the faculty are well-qualified and knowledgeable. These courses are relevant for industry placements. According to seniors’ suggestions, it is easy to pass the semester exams. A 5 CGPA is required for passing, and a 7 CGPA is considered good for placement.

All the facilities are good here.

Faculty: Well, we have a college which is governed by the Government of Jharkhand, so all the professors were government employees, they have a good knowledge of the course and know how to teach the students. So basically, they are helpful, knowledgeable and kind-hearted. The course is relevant as it gives industry-ready exposure, where we do an internship every year, which is helpful for industrial experience. The semester is quite tough as we are in the new education policy, so students have to work ha...

You get back 80-90% fee back, very good college. I am a little bit dissatisfied with some campuses.

Faculty: Faculty members are amazing. They are well educated and experienced, taken from BIT Sindri. They are very supportive. You will get lots of internship opportunities that are provided and directed by the professor. Semester exams are tough because you are an engineering student, you face them.

College is best regarding fees, infrastructure, study, and exams, but not good in labs, hostel food.

Faculty: In my college, all the teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Exams are held in a seminar hall and classrooms with very strict discipline, no one dares to cheat during the exam. If anyone is caught cheating, they are expelled from the exam at the same time. So, according to me, this is good for students and their future.

GEC Palamu: An overview whether you should opt or not.

Faculty: The faculty members are well qualified and knowledgeable, and many have done their Ph.D. from IITs and NITs. The course curriculum is relevant, and from the very beginning we learn about basic engineering mechanisms that provide a solid foundation for our studies.

The college has good infrastructure and supportive faculty.

Faculty: Faculty members are generally okay. Some professors are very well-versed in their subjects. Most of the exam questions come from what is taught in class and from students’ notebooks. But for semester exams, proper preparation is necessary as you cannot rely solely on what is taught in class.
