Government engineering College Sheikhpura.

Placements: Placements are superb. We never expect that much of an amount of package in this college. As year by year, the placements are increasing. About 75% of students got placed in this academic year, 2023. And each student maintains at least 4 offers before completion of their studies. The average package is 4 LPA.

Infrastructure: We have all the necessary facilities in our college, and our college infrastructure is outstanding compared to any other college. As per labs, we have all types of materials required available. A lot of facilities are available in classrooms, and throughout the college, we have Wi-Fi available. Living spaces are good and hygienic, and all members are very decent.

Faculty: I'm studying B.Tech 4th year in this college. From my observations, I observed that the teaching is very good, and the quality of teaching is very nice. The curriculum is very good and as updated as the latest. Our study makes it possible to get a job as soon as early with these academic studies and teaching.

Other: Value for money. Damn sure, our college is value for money. About 2 lakhs per year, and our money got worth it. Good environment facilities.

In our college, teachers and placements are not great.

Placements: Few companies visit our college for recruitment. The average salary package offered was 7 LPA. The medium salary package offered was 2.5 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 2 LPA. Internships are not offered in this course.

Infrastructure: Our college is situated around hills. This college has a dedicated library. Laboratory is better. Workshops are conducted in this college. Hostels have many facilities including elevator, sensor tap, and mess. Hostel rooms are good. Mess is well-maintained.

Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and dedicated. They are selected from the BPSC assistant professor post. The course curriculum is relevant but it does not make students ready for the industry. Semester exams are difficult. The pass percentage is 70%.

Other: Our college should improve its laboratory. Few fests and events are conducted. Annual celebration is organised properly. Freshers' party is also organised in this college.

Review of Government Engineering College, Sheikhpura.

Placements: None of the students got placed until now because placements were conducted in 2019 only. However, we came to know from our faculty members that there will be lots of opportunities in future. The principal is also informed that various companies will visit here for placements. So, you can get placements.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. A good, huge and attractive playground is available on the campus as the sports are highly preferable here. Hostels are very good, and the laboratories are not much good as they are of the old model. Benches and desks available in classrooms are low in quality, but some classrooms are excellent.

Faculty: Some teachers here are good, but a few did not want to teach, or I think they do not know how to teach. In this college, you have to study on your own. In the mechanical department, there are almost 12-13 teachers. Few of them are very helpful, well qualified and experienced to teach. HOD of the mechanical engineering department is very helpful and supportive. I suggest you not to depend on the college. There are many online facilities which will help you to gain knowledge and build your future. With the help of our college faculty members, you can qualify in semester exams.

Other: Events like Technority programme, annual functions and regulars seminars are organised on the campus.

Our college is best in Bihar.

Placements: In our college, there are no placements until now because it was established in 2019. If you want placements, then they are available through our university to which our college is affiliated. Placements depend on your marks of all semesters. Students can also get placed through the GATE exam.

Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure available for our course and department are satisfactory. Wi-Fi facility is available with average internet speed. Labs are in average condition, and some equipment is very good. Classrooms are also in good condition. Facilities in the hostel are good, and the condition of the rooms is also good. There are ward servants in every hostel to serve the students. Mess and canteen are in average condition.

Faculty: Faculty members here are very well, and they teach in a friendly way. They all are very well qualified from IITs and IISE, and they are very helpful to all students. The course is relevant to the curriculum, and it makes students industry-ready. All teachers conduct classes regularly. The entire syllabus is completed on time, and lab sessions are also conducted regularly.

Other: Government Engineering College, Sheikhpura is the best college compared to other colleges in Bihar. The civil engineering department here is known all over India.

Our college is the best college in Bihar. Being new it has a long way to go.

Placements: The placement opportunities are not much. Being an engineering college in Bihar, there are not many companies coming with job offers to the college. The college is new and another reason for the low placements.

Infrastructure: Campus life is awesome. Boys and girls hostel both are present inside the college boundary. Courts for volleyball, badminton, tennis, and cricket/football playgrounds. Wi-Fi is there on the campus. Labs, classrooms and the library are good.

Faculty: You can personally go to any teacher for your doubts. They also give their contact or WhatsApp number to get in touch anytime. All the faculty members are highly qualified and come after giving BPSC exam. Lectures are generally 1 hour for each subject. Each day minimum three classes are scheduled.

It is a very good college.

Placements: About 75% of the students got placed from my course. The highest salary package offered is 10 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 8 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 6 LPA. Companies which mainly visit here for placements are cement manufacturers like Ultratech, Ambuja, Dalmia, etc. Above 85% of the students get chances to do internships in reputed companies. Roles offered are a chief engineer, assistant professor, assistant engineer, etc.

Infrastructure: All types of facilities which an engineering college needs to have are available here like smart classrooms with projector screen, labs, free Wi-Fi, etc. The quality of the food served is good, and the hostel is also good for living. Medical facilities are also available on the campus. Sports meets are always conducted with many games every month.

Faculty: Teachers are mostly from IITs and NITs or from highly top-ranked institutes. They are great as well as their way of teaching is excellent. They used to solve our problems all the time and try to make our doubts as simple as possible so that we can understand it in a very best way. The course curriculum is relevant, and it also makes students aware of the industry.

Other: I have chosen this course because there are many opportunities to get government sector jobs. Basically, nowadays society is in a growing stage, so almost in future, there will be more chances for us to get jobs. I wish that some things must get better in our course like in other countries they use good technology to make their work faster with the help of machines, but here we don't use such type of technology. So, this must get changed. All types of events, fests and activities are organised here.

Our college is very good.

Placements: Our college opened in 2019, and it started its first session in 2019. Almost all the students prepare for GATE exam or any government sector exams. It was established under the Department of Science and Technology, Bihar. It is affiliated with Aryabhatta Knowledge University and approved by All India Council for Technical Education.

Infrastructure: All the facilities and infrastructure available in our college hostel are good and appropriate. In our hostel campus, there is a free Wi-Fi facility, and a canteen is also available, which provides services from 7 am to 9 pm. There are also very good mess facilities. Hostel supervisor and officers managed all the things well and are friendly to all of us.

Faculty: All the professors and assistant professors are highly qualified, and in every subject, there is a HOD who managed all their subjects well. All professors have excellent teaching quantity, and they are also highly knowledgeable. All students are satisfied with the teaching techniques of all the professors.

Other: I am a student of civil engineering, and I have chosen this course because now it has a high scope. In this branch, you can know all the things practically and more clearly than other branches.

Our college is very good.

Placements: No students are placed in my course yet. There is no the highest, the lowest and average package in my course yet. There are no top recruitment companies for my course yet. My course has not yet received internships from students from companies. Because the college is still new which has been established in 2019. Hopefully, it will make good progress next year.

Infrastructure: College Wi-Fi is very good. College lab is very good in which all facilities are available. Students have no problem doing labs. The college library is also very good. In which all students can sit and study well. Our college has a boys hostel and a girls hostel. The hostel messes are also very good and the playground is also very good, very big. All types of sports facilities are available in our college.

Faculty: All the teachers in our college are very good. All the teachers in our college are highly qualified and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is best. All classes take place on time. All the subjects are well taught. Notes are also provided.
