No, candidates cannot get direct admission for the BLS LLB programme offered by GLC Mumbai unless they take the MHCET Law exam. As a matter of fact, admission to this five-year integrated BLS LLB course conducted at the GLC in Mumbai strictly depends on the score of MHCET law. To get admission to BLS LLB, candidates are eligible only if they obtain an aggregate of at least 45% in Class 12 from a recognised board. The score of MHCET Law is mandatory for admission to the BLS LLB course. The direct application is not available at GLC Mumbai until and unless a candidate qualifies for the MHCET Law exam.

The tuition fee for the BSL LLB course that GLC Mumbai offers is INR 9,000 for the first year. This fee structure depicts that GLC is economical for 'legal' education. The total amount for the whole period of three years is INR 30,470. Along with this amount, a student has to pay some extra amount as a caution fee, along with other administrative charges, as in the total expenditure. The process is merit-based. The MH CET Law 2025 will be released in two phases of the admit card. The admit card for the five-year BLS LLB course is most possibly going to be published in May 2025 through the official website in an online mode. And the students will be able to download their admit card with a specific period by getting into their registration number along with the date of birth, through the website. The admit card is a document submitted on the day of the examination.

The latest GLC Mumbai 2024 cutoff has not been released. However, as per the 2023 cutoff report, the BLS LLB closing rank is 120 for the General All-India category.  The rank is the minimum cutoff that candidates have to obtain in order to qualify for the final counselling round. As per the trend, the cutoff has marginally increased trend.

However, the cutoff in the future is expected to decrease if going with the year-wise trend. The Last Round cutoff for 122 and 119 in 2022 and 2023, respectively, for the General AI category candidates. So, scoring 99 score would be sufficient to get into GLC Mumbai. The CET Cell Maharashtra published a revised schedule for the Centralised Admission Process, or CAP for MH CET Law 3-year LLB 2023. Now, the MH CET 2023 CAP registration form for 3-year LLB for MS and OMS candidates can be filled out till Jul 20. 
MH CET Law 2023 5-year LLB Round 1 (revised merit list), has been released on Jul 8. Also, Round 2 merit list is expected to be released on Jul 19 for Outside Maharashtra State (OMS) and Maharashtra State (MS) candidates. 

Apart from qualifying in the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) national level exam, the key eligibility criteria to get admission into the LLB programme at Government Law College (GLC), Churchgate are :-

1. Educational Qualification: - The candidate must compulsorily hold a bachelor’s degree (in any discipline) that is recognised by universities or boards established under UGC. 

2. Minimum Marks:-  They need to secure a minimum overall aggregate of 50% marks in their bachelor's degree. For reserved categories, it is 45%.

3. Final year students in their undergraduate programme are also eligible to apply subject to meeting above marks criteria in their final exam results .

4. Age Limit:-  No age restrictions but one must fulfill above degree criteria.

Thus, in accordance with bar council guidelines, obtaining a UG degree with a minimum of 50% of total marks is necessary for applying to GLC Churchgate's LLB program, in addition to passing the CLAT.
