No, candidates cannot get direct admission for the BLS LLB programme offered by GLC Mumbai unless they take the MHCET Law exam. As a matter of fact, admission to this five-year integrated BLS LLB course conducted at the GLC in Mumbai strictly depends on the score of MHCET law. To get admission to BLS LLB, candidates are eligible only if they obtain an aggregate of at least 45% in Class 12 from a recognised board. The score of MHCET Law is mandatory for admission to the BLS LLB course. The direct application is not available at GLC Mumbai until and unless a candidate qualifies for the MHCET Law exam.
The tuition fee for the BSL LLB course that GLC Mumbai offers is INR 9,000 for the first year. This fee structure depicts that GLC is economical for 'legal' education. The total amount for the whole period of three years is INR 30,470. Along with this amount, a student has to pay some extra amount as a caution fee, along with other administrative charges, as in the total expenditure. The process is merit-based.
