This college is okay, and the faculty is good.

Placements: Out of 110 BCA students enrolled, only 21 students passed. About 19% success in course completion, not direct placements. The highest package offered in our college is for a data analyst of 1 lacs per annum. The average and the lowest packages are for computer operators and teachers of about Rs. 20,000 - Rs. 25,000. My college has 40 students in my class. 30 students only got placed. TCS, Wipro, Teach Mahindra, Cognizant, etc, companies come to my college. Almost all the students got an internship in my course in TCS and Infosys companies.

Infrastructure: Classrooms are equipped with smart boards, ACs, and audio-visual aids. Smart classrooms support digital learning. Well-maintained computer laboratories with internet access, suitable for programming, networking, and project work. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled, and BCA students have access to the internet in labs and common areas. A three-floor library with a wide range of books, journals, and digital resources. There is also access to academic software and e-resources. The college provides online learning support, digital modules, and lab manuals. Project/internship space project support with guidance from faculty members; collaboration rooms are available. The college provides separate hostels for boys and girls, offering comfortable, well-ventilated, and fully furnished rooms.

Faculty: Most faculty are postgraduate or Ph.D. holders in their respective subjects. Many are NET/SET qualified and appointed under government norms. A good mix of senior professors and young assistant professors. Some departments have holds with more than 10 years of experience.

Other: I chose BCA because I've always had a keen interest in computers, programming, and how technology works behind the scenes. While some companies visit, the number of placement drives is limited. I wish more tech companies and startups were invited regularly, especially for core roles like software development or data analysis. The college regularly organizes annual cultural and sports events, where students from various streams participate in dance, drama, debates, and music competitions. Departmental seminars, guest lectures, and inter-college quiz/debate competitions are also held.
