Great faculty members, supportive environment, and excellent placement opportunities.
Placements: Placement department was highly active and supportive. They organised regular training sessions, mock interviews and invited top recruiters from various industries. Thanks to their efforts a large number of students secured jobs before graduation.
Infrastructure: Campus environment was vibrant, welcoming with plenty of opportunities for students to get involved in extracurricular activities and students clubs. College offered a wide range of resources, from modern labs to career counselling. I had grown so much as a person.
Faculty: Faculty members were knowledgeable, supportive, and always willing to help the students succeed. The curriculum was well-structured and up-to-date with industrial standards. My time at Government Mohindra College was incredibly rewarding and so transformative.
Other: I highly recommend Government Mohindra College, Patiala, to any student looking for a place to grow academically and personally.

I really appreciate all the things I learned in college. I learned so much from my college.
Placements: It seems like 90% of students were placed in my college. The highest package is INR 3 lacs or above, the lowest is INR 1 lac, and the average is INR 1.5–2 lacs. Minimum 60% of students get internships, and the top roles are statistical investigator and coding trainer.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is really good. We are so comfortable when we attend a class, and in computer labs, each and every computer works perfectly. In hostels, the food is not so good but not so bad. I am a local, so I didn't join the hostel, but my colleagues tell me it is comfortable living in hostels.
Faculty: Teachers are highly knowledgeable, as we understand each and every topic. So teaching quality is top priority. Exams are taken strictly, and the level of semester exams is moderate to difficult. Students really learn so much from the course. Practical subjects are also taken seriously.
Other: I chose arts (mathematics) in +2. So our course has a unique combination of subjects. I chose this course because of math and computers. I learn coding languages and more deeply about mathematics. In college, they organise events, and campus and scholarship programmes are also available. So I consider myself fortunate to be pursuing this course.

A lack of practical knowledge and placement opportunities in the course.
Placements: 50% of the students got placed in college.
No idea about the salary offered.
Till date, there is no placement offered for our course. No one till date got the internship because post-graduation is must in our course to get the job or internship.
Infrastructure: If we talk about the infrastructure it's satisfactory. The library is the best with some new science books being bought recently. Wi-fi facility is also available. From my own experience, the hostel facility is at its worst not only the atmosphere but also the food.
Faculty: Teachers are very much helpful and qualified. Most of the teachers of our course have done Ph.D. and their teaching skills are also good. Teachers even make students aware of the extra fields and scope related to the course and future study. The course curriculum makes the students ready for the industry.
Other: I chose the course because of its vast scope as it has computer, maths and statistics. More job opportunities and more fields to pursue. Just the lack of practical knowledge. Annual function, inter-college competition, scholarship are all provided by the campus.
