A:

The BTech Mechanical Engineering syllabus is not the same across all colleges, as every college committee sets a particular coursework pattern at the start of every academic year to be followed for the respective batch. The syllabus includes some core subjects, interesting electives, and lab work that gives detailed knowledge to the students about the workings of the field.

Q:   What is covered in Machine Design subject in B.Tech course?
A:

Dear candidate, the subject of Machine Design basically teaches you about the designing fundamentals of various types of machinery across industries. You get to learn about the different ways in which elements can be combined to form an equipment or machine system and get the work done in an effective manner.

The knowledge of this subject is very important for a mechanical engineer as he/she will have to put this to use in the future whenever they enter the workforce as a mechanical engineering professional.

Hope this cleared your doubt. Have a good day.

A:

The BTech Civil Engineering syllabus focuses on both theoretical lectures as well as practical work.

With the help of lectures in the curriculum, theoretical concepts are introduced to students, tutorials provide space for solving problems and applications also.

And the labs offer hands-on experience to students who get acquainted with equipment and CAD software. Also, the field projects also allow students to apply their B Tech Civil Engg. skills and knowledge to design and implement communication systems.

Government Polytechnic College has a great campus.
Placements: Our college is great for the diploma course. Placements in our college are good. In the previous year, about 80% of the students from our course got placed. Some companies like SRT, Kribhaco, IOCL, Dalmia Sugar Factory and Yara Vera visit our campus for placements.
Infrastructure: Our college provides hostels for both boys and girls inside the campus. Wi-Fi facility is also available on the campus for students. The security is almost great, and there is 24 hours light. The college administration provides transport facility. Our college offers many branches like chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, diploma in computer science, electrical engineering, civil engineering, electronic engineering and mechanical engineering.
Faculty: Diploma syllabus is based on 40% theory and 60% practical knowledge. Our college provides good teaching. Our college has many teaching staff members. Teachers are experienced, and they provide us with the gravity of knowledge.
Other: Our college provides many courses. I have chosen a chemical engineering course in entrance exam which is conducted by Uttar Pradesh government. Here admissions are made on the counselling basis.

Our college has good infrastructure from inside. Placements are done small packages.
Placements: Almost 68% of the students got placed from college. The highest salary offered was Rs. 20,000 per month, and the lowest salary offered was ranges from Rs. 10,000 per month - Rs. 15,000 per month. None of the companies comes these days for placements due to slow down market. Manufacturer company production has gone down in the previous year 2019-20. Let see how long time will the companies take to come for placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is not in good conditions. There is no canteen and Wi-Fi for students. Classroom conditions are like a government office. Hostel facilities are only for boys. The sports festival is celebrated every year. Those students who qualified in sports here go for state level and national level competitions.
Faculty: There is a shortage of teachers in our college. Faculty members are qualified, but they are not helpful. Sometimes they do not come on time. So even students don't regularly. Only a few students come to college regularly. Classes are not conducted for the whole day. We have only period for studies in one day. I am not satisfied with the college.
Other: I opted for mechanical engineering because it has a lot of options to work. No scholarships are provided. Some extracurricular activities are held for 3-4 days in a year.
