An affordable college for people who are interested in doing technical courses.
Placements: In my course, about 40% of students get placed easily. The lowest package is 2.5 LPA this year, and the highest is 4 LPA. Many students do not take jobs; they go for further studies like B.Tech. Top recruiting companies are Jindal Steel & Power, Usha Martin, Electrosteel Steel Limited, etc. Very few people get a chance for internships, but in our curriculum, it is mandatory to do one internship.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good but old. There is no library present in our college. Classroom conditions are best for studying. In the first year, some people are allotted hostels. I had taken a PG near the college; it cost me about 2000 per month and 3000 per month for meals. There is no canteen, but there are sports facilities like interbranch cricket.
Faculty: Yes, teachers are well-qualified and have a degree in the subject. Their teaching style is good, and they have friendly behavior. They are always ready to solve our doubts. The course curriculum is relevant because the subjects help us build our basics and make us ready for many industry-related issues. Many subjects, like Engineering Drawing, help us in building our basics in the civil engineering field. Exams often happen 3 times per semester: 2 mid-sems and 1 end-sem. Exams are a little bit difficult as sometimes questions are out of syllabus.
Other: I chose this course as I was interested in this field, like making buildings. I think from the first semester, they should teach subjects related to my branch only; this will help us get placed easily in any company. I think no events happen here, as it is fully government-run. You all have a chance to get a scholarship, which is E-Kalyan.

Placements: Almost 50% of students got placed in our college. The average salary package offered ranges between 2.5 LPA - 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Tata, Jindal, Sail, etc. Almost 60% of students got internships in different companies.
Infrastructure: Our college provides us with all facilities. A playground is available in our college for playing and morning exercises. We have at least 60 classrooms and some engineering-related labs. The hostel has many rooms. The water and mess facilities are available in the hostel.
Faculty: All teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is very good. The course curriculum is relevant as per our syllabus. Semester exams are good for many students.
Other: I opted for this course because it would provide good opportunities.

It is an affordable government college.
Placements: In our college, many students are placed. The highest salary package offered is 3 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 2.26 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Jindal Steel Limited, HCL, Tata, L&T, Bokaro Steel Plant, etc., visit our campus.
Infrastructure: Our college does not provide good infrastructure. There are all types of labs, like physics lab, chemistry lab, machinery lab, computer lab, and testing lab, but no one uses these labs. All machines are only for show. Hostels are available, but only two buildings are used.
Faculty: The pass percentage is 33%. Our teachers are very helpful. Part-time teachers and permanent teachers are available.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in it. Our college celebrates Engineering Day, a farewell party, and a fresher's party.

Infrastructure: Good infrastructure and good hostel, mess facility here and sports and games also available here in our college. Medical facility also available here and good workshop here available here in our college. Good college for civil engineering in this college.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful here and well qualified here in our college. Y s it make the students industry ready here. Semester exams are difficult here. But teachers helps us and guide us in semester exams so exams are like little bit easy and exams goes good .

Our college has very good infrastructure and highly qualified faculty members.
Placements: Around 60% of students got placed in companies with good salary packages. The starting salary package offered was 2.2 LPA to 3 LPA. L&T and Usha Martin were recruiting companies. Around 10% of students got internships at Tata.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, labs, hi-tech classrooms, a library, water, and a playground were provided in our college. Parks were available in front of our college. Digital boards were provided in classrooms to enhance the quality of studying digitally.
Faculty: Teachers in our college were helpful and highly qualified. Their teaching was easier to understand, and they taught very well. The course curriculum was relevant to make students good civil engineers and aware of future challenges. Exams were a little difficult, but manageable. The pass percentage was 40%.
Other: Our college was in a quiet place in Dhanbad, which provides a better understanding of teaching.

I'm satisfied with the good infrastructure of our college.
Placements: There are less than 5% of students who were placed. Around 3 students from our college were placed in Larsen and Toubro. Larsen and Toubro were the top recruiting companies, and no company came on campus. The top role offered in our college is a supervisor. The average salary package was 4 LPA.
Infrastructure: There is Wi-Fi available for teachers and offices in our college. The labs are not operating. Our classrooms are well equipped with projectors, but they are not working. The library is available and is in good condition. There are 2 hostels available, which are also in good condition. The quality of food is also good in the canteen. There are insufficient medical facilities. There were no teachers available for sports and games.
Faculty: Teachers in our college were qualified and helpful. They used to clear all doubts when asked by them. Our curriculum makes students industry-ready. We used to go to work shops to learn industrial work. Semester exams were not so difficult. The pass percentage was 40%, which is easy to achieve.
Other: I wanted to become a civil engineer, so I chose this course. Our college has a good faculty and infrastructure. Our college has events and fests organised like the freshers' party and farewell

GP Dhanbad provides the best placements and outstanding faculty members.
Placements: Government Polytechnic, Dhanbad, approved by AICTE, provides the best technical environment and supportive campus for us to develop physically, mentally and practically. GP Dhanbad gives admissions of students on the basis of rank obtained in the exam conducted under JCECEB. Each branch has 60 seats, and it may increase after lateral entry or spot counseling. They bring in the best companies for placements. The best-recruiting companies are L&T, Joyson, Tata Steel, Jindal Power etc.
The college gives us training in soft skills through TATA company to enhance our skills for getting a job or working in a company with a certificate signed by TATA company. This helps us to learn soft skills such as interview techniques, proper etiquette etc.
Infrastructure: Government Polytechnic, Dhanbad, provides hostel facilities with a well-maintained mess for students. Food is not up to the mark, but it is manageable. They have their own workshop for students to learn practically and gain knowledge about machinery, its working, parts, work execution etc. Many tools and machines like Lathe machines, etc., are available.
Faculty: The faculty members provided are very supportive and quite responsible to students and their career. To be honest, only some of the permanent government faculty members don't teach properly, but as far as our faculty are concerned, they all are the best. Proper assignments, sessionals, report making, project work, and group discussions are conducted. Semester exams are all under JUT. Our college stands with the best results in every session with a very good percentage like 85-90% and provides jobs in the best places possible. The college conducts 2 internal exams per semester with sessions and practicals according to the subjects.
Other: Choosing civil engineering has always been my field of interest. On the other hand, civil engineering is the most job-oriented department if you are pursuing a Diploma. In India, the pay scale for civil engineers is quite good.

It is one of the best colleges in Jharkhand for diploma courses.
Placements: Placements were somehow increasing year by year. Placements for civil engineering, mechanical engineering, and metallurgical engineering were common. Placements for CSE and electrical were less. L&T was the top company especially for civil and mechanical, that take students as junior engineers with a pay scale of Rs 15,000 - Rs 20,000 for the first year of training and then Rs 35,000 - Rs 40,000 salary after that. Students passing each semester examination are allowed for placements regarding exams. There were 4 students who were placed in L&T.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure was very good, it was not covered with boundaries, but the campus was environment friendly. There were 4 hostels available for boys, and 1 for girls. The hostel charge was very low at our time. The mess was average. The hostel infrastructure was very good. It provides big rooms with 3 students in each, and the college ground was also available.
Faculty: Teachers were the best and they were highly qualified in each department. The teaching quality was also very good, they provide regular classes, quizzes, and other curriculum activities were also performed. Soft skills class was also available which was established by Tata strive which helps students mentally to prepare for knowledge and etiquette other than the course syllabus. Passing marks were 13 out of 20 for internals, and 26 out of 80 for externals.
Other: This college fee structure was very less, i.e maximum of Rs 3,000 per year for the general category, the hostel fee was Rs 71 per month, and the mess charge was Rs 1,500 per month. The library was available. Ekalyan scholarships were available for OBC, SC, and ST students.
