Overall, experience is good but it is not a regretful decision.
Placements: About 20% of students are placed. Most others have to find their internships on their own. The highest salary is Rs 15,000 per month but it is not referred to by the college or by any top recruitment company. Roles offered are full-stack developer, social media page handler, etc.
Infrastructure: Labs are good. Computers are not that good but they are working fine for coding, as for practical subject, the environment is clean and tidy. As for hostel, it is under construction so it will be made in 1 or 1.5 years so it will be available in 2 years.
Faculty: Faculty behaviour is good. They are friendly and they explain well but right now there is shortage of teachers. There is no temporary staff in college because they are removed. Due to that, there is a lot of pressure on teachers as well as students so there has to be self-study.

I am very thankful to this college as I have gained a lot of knowledge and experience from here.
Placements: 90 percent of students got placed from this course. The highest salary is Rs. 20,000, the lowest is Rs. 7,000, and the average salary is Rs. 12,000 offered in our course. Top recruiting companies are not there. We got placed at the startup. Only 96 percent of students got internships from our course, and in different companies, the top roles offered are for software testers and web developers.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure provided by our department are very good. They provided us with labs for practical performance, and Wi-Fi is also available. Classrooms are available with good facilities. I didn't have any idea about the facilities of the hostel, but the college cafeteria is good, and the food is also nice.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, and their teaching quality is very good and helpful. The course curriculum is relevant and is also beneficial to the students to gain industry-level knowledge. The exams were not much different as all the questions are curriculum-related only, and the passing percentage is 98 percent.
Other: I chose this course because it gives me knowledge regarding the IT field, and the best thing about this course was the teaching content. I wish to improve at focusing on practical knowledge more than theoretical content. The events are also continuing at our college, and a scholarship is also provided, which is very helpful.

Campus life that I feel surreal.
Placements: College does not provide placements for Information Technology students. But the branch has 6 months of implant training. Somehow some companies came last year for internships and there may be chances to get the offer. Stipend is offered up to Rs. 10,000. Unpaid internships also will be there to enhance further career. Roles offered are web developer, data analyst, and cyber security. The percentage varies many of them find internships having their own capabilities.
Infrastructure: Information technology department has 4 computer labs and 4 classes. One library is available which is associated with the whole college. Wi-Fi facility is also available. Currently hostel is under construction means the facility has been available since the covid period. The inter-college level sports happen every year between different colleges.
Faculty: Information Technology department has 2-3 permanent teachers who are knowledgeable. The others are part-time/hourly basis. In our final the hourly basis employee is not available due to a court case or something else. It has been a difficult and the worst year that I spent here. Course curriculum is relevant and well enough if someone does self-study and learns other things also. Pass percentage is more than 85%.
Other: I chose this course because I want to get practical exposure and get a job early. Somehow I managed to secure an internship at a stipend of Rs. 12,000 on my own. A scholarship section is available there. MahaDBT is a platform to get scholarships in various areas.

My experience of GPM's IT Diploma (batch 2024) .
Placements: While I was studying in GPM's IT department, I wasn't offered any placement, nor did the students get any information regarding campus placements. Although we were told about placements during admission, nothing happened. As for internships, the faculty did help a bit with finding them.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure of classrooms and labs were good enough to study in. They had fast Wi-Fi and working computers. The sports facilities, canteen food, and fests were not too bad—average, I would say. I was not staying in the hostel, so I can't say anything about it.
Faculty: I would say the curriculum is outdated. It does not make you industry-ready; it only covers very basic concepts that might give a little boost but are not of much help. Teachers were not helpful during my time in college, and the quality of teaching was not the best. I would say exams were standard, like any other exam, but still not impossible to pass.

An honest review from an honest student. Do not interfere in teachers politics.
Placements: There are rare placements. This is a diploma course, so that's why companies ignore hiring students from this college. Students here get placements, but it is not for good. A student must complete all the studies and then think about placements in my opinion.
Infrastructure: No Wi-Fi, not a good building. The food is good, but not that good. There is no point in complaining about it because nothing will happen and they will ignore your complaint. It's better to be with it and control yourself. There is no good water service as well; they have only one filter.
Faculty: The teachers were quite good at what they did. They did very well, and they deserve to get paid more. In honesty, they were really good and supportive towards their students. Always ready to help and look out for their students if they are in some kind of situation.
Other: I chose this course because I had some curiosity to learn things about computers and software. Better understanding of coding. Not much.
