Diploma in Mechanical Engineering - Batch of 2020

I would not recommend students to join this college.
Placements: It does not provide good placements as it was a government college. It was all about students' percentage graph. They give a chance for the training period, and not only the initial salary packages offered in this course was good, but the starting salary was also good or more depending on a hardworking person. Placements were not provided in top companies. All the placements were provided only in our country and not others.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this college was not good. Hostel life was good but there were many problems in our hostel life. The food served was good and had a low budget. Students enjoy hostel life, and the hostel maintenance was good. I am thankful to this college.
Faculty: Exams were very difficult, and students need to attend classes and assignments for all 4 years. There were no good workshops and practicals. Students write exams by books knowledge. Semester exams were difficult to get a good percentage without hard preparation. The percentage depends on students' internal marks.
Other: As it was a government college the fee charges were good in comparison with private colleges. They need to provide all subject teachers, and should be helpful in other activities.

It is a very good college.
Placements: There is a placement cell in our college. As compared to other colleges, it is the best college for diploma students. A student from our batch got placed in L&T. It is the best college, according to placements. Internships are provided for all branches like electrical, electronics, mechanical and IT students.
Infrastructure: I didn't stay in the hostel, but the hostel condition is not good. They need more improvement. Infrastructure is average. The hostel fee is negotiable. There is a TV for students, and each room is shared with 3 students. So, it is an average college from the hostel point of view.
Faculty: Faculty members are good and helpful. Some teachers have a doctorate degree, and they always share valuable knowledge. I am from the mechanical branch, and I am satisfied to get teachers like them. Practicals are also taken by them from time to time.
Other: Extracurricular activities are arranged in December and January. Scholarships are also provided for students.

Hello Rutik, from all the available information, it is clear that this institution does not prescribe any cutoff for any of the courses it offers to students. This may be due to many different things. May be because this is Govt institute or number of applicants is not too much as compared with inta
