Review of Government Polytechnic Pune.
Placements: Placements are pretty good at this college. The more marks you get, the more packages you get for the placement. People do prefer placement in diplomas, as if you get placed in Tata or Birla, you might get experience and also get a scholarship from them.
Infrastructure: The college is pretty old, but it is still maintained the way it should be. The canteen and medical services are also good. There are not a lot of sports and games. The food in the canteen is worth the money. The infrastructure is also good, and from inside there are good Wi-Fi connections.
Faculty: Yes, the teachers are knowledgeable and qualified. I kept it up-to-date and changed to a new version every year.
As a diploma student, it is important to pass the exams. neither easy nor difficult. But if you study properly, then it is easy in that way. The college also takes students on an industrial visit, which makes them ready for industry.

This is the best college for diploma in the entire Maharashtra.
Placements: Almost 80% of the students got placed in campus interview. In our batch, the highest salary package offered was of 2.16 LPA and the lowest salary package offered was 1.2 LPA. Bajaj Auto, Jindal Steel, Maxion Wheels, Uttam Galva, Jyoti Heat, Kalyani Bharat Forge and Tata Motors were the top recruiters.
Infrastructure: There was a huge library, good classrooms and labs. We also had a hostel and mess facility. The quality of the food served was average, and the hostel facilities were also average. There were old buildings for boys hostel. We had a water problem in summer. So, the facilities can be better.
Faculty: The teaching quality was good, and the course was well knowledgeable. Teachers were well qualified, and they were qualified from reputed universities. This course curriculum was relevant and the knowledge gained makes students fully prepared for the industry.
Other: I opted for this course because it is unique than any other and has a good future. I wish the lab and classroom facilities could be better. Good events like techno fest, Suvarnam and many more are held. Scholarships are also offered for students.

The college is outputting talented and great citizens.
Placements: Government Polytechnic, Pune is renowned for its intelligent student outputs. There are no issues of placements if a student has the capabilities which are required for the company. During my batch, a total of 15 students were placed in reputed industries, but the demand of the companies was more. They needed students, but as it is upon students interest, what to choose. Five of our students were placed in Bharat Forge. Ltd (Kalyani forge), 2 of girls were placed in General Electricals, and later on demand of the same company, 4 more students were also placed. JSW. LTD demanded bulk students, 9 of our students including me were placed, but due to the late information of the company 4 students joined. Beyond placements, the faculty and HOD have their contacts all over industries in Pune and surrounding, so needy students can get their job easily. Among the college placements, the metallurgy field received the highest amount of placing students. Other branch students are placed too. The highest package of the college was 4.32 lacs per annum for the company Blue Star. LTD, for metallurgy it was 2.64 lacs per annum by JSW Steels, and the lowest was of Bharat Forge 1.92 LPA. Many companies such as Siemens. LTD, Bharat Forge. LTD, Blue Star, JSW, GE, Wipro, SYSKA, etc., visited the campus and placements were carried out. Positions like a supervisor, assistant engineer, etc., are provided. So, barely there is any issues of placements.
Infrastructure: As it is a government college, the infrastructural facilities provided are poor, but there are no problems with the IT and computer department, they got the best. Classrooms are as its a government college, but the atmosphere is fully surrounded by trees and decorative plants, which leaves pleasant vibes on the campus. The hostel facilities are not quite good, but they are provided with very cheap costs, it's Rs 500/- per year, nowhere in Pune can provide this rates. The canteen and mess facilities are above average, but not up to the mark. The infrastructure of the college as above average.
Faculty: Faculty members of my department were somewhat helping. Everyone is qualified and got a good knowledge of their respective field. Industry exposure is given by some teachers and some won't as it is dependent on the qualities of the respective faculty. The courses are somewhat old and important. The faculty members and course curriculum of the college are good.
Other: Events are carried out by department students exploring there hidden talents in the college. Technofest was recently hosted by the students of all faculty members with attractive events. The gathering is fun here.

Satisfied with the faculty.
Placements: The placements in college are not good. In our senior batch, only one company came for placement. Even in our batch, only one company came for our department. Salary offered by that company was around 2.5 lacs per annum. The all-clear students are eligible for internships offered by the department.
Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi facility. The classrooms are also not good because it is a government college. Therefore, the maintenance of class is not good. The machines in our department do not work. We were just introduced to the machines, no one knows perfectly how it works.
Faculty: The teachers are qualified. They always help the students whenever anyone goes to them with the problems. The teaching skills of all the teachers are great. They always organise the industry visit for the students to learn about the new technologies. The teachers are less in number compared to the subjects we study.

Very nice college and very good placements. This is a government college. Placement 100% guaranteed.
Placements: The Government Polytechnic Pune College is very nice. The highest package is 3–4 lacs, and the lowest package I don't know. The college is the best at 100% placement. An internship is required for all courses. Like it or not, a computer internship is done online, while other course internships are done offline.
Infrastructure: Very nice facilities, including a hostel, mess, and canteen. The college has very nice quality in the canteen, hostel, and food. Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and libraries are very nice. All the facilities are very good. The hostel, canteen, and food quality are very good. Sports and games are very nice.
Faculty: Medium-difficult is for the 2nd and 3rd semester exams. The passing percentage is 32. Teachers are very helpful and nice. Teaching quality is at its very best. All course-semester exams have the best classroom quality and are very nice. The college has two buildings, old and new.
Other: Mechanical, electrical, information technology, and computer courses are the best. Scholarships are not for general categories. The college has a playground. It is a very nice college.

This college provides good and experienced faculty members. I would recommend joining them.
Placements: Around 35% of students were placed in the reputed company. The average salary package offered 2.75 LPA. The remaining students opt for engineering and others for internships. In our branch, there were only 45 students so competition was less and students get placements easily.
Infrastructure: In our college, there was Wi-Fi enabled for all students. Practical rooms were well designed and had every instrument. The hostel rooms were good but the taste of food was average.
Faculty: Teachers were helpful, qualified, and experienced. Their teaching quality was mind-blowing. Practical knowledge makes the student ready for industry. They talk with students in a peaceful full mind.

It is the best college if you are going for an engineering diploma.
Placements: Placements are one of the positive points of this college. Many companies come to offer jobs. Teachers also help you in finding a job. Placements aren't an issue in this college. You can get placements with a salary package from 3 LPA to 5 LPA. Companies like Tata Motors and Bajaj come to offer jobs.
Infrastructure: Facilities are good, and classrooms are spacious. It is an old college, and it hasn't been changed much. A building is newly constructed, so it is modern compared to the old building. There is a small library to read, but Wi-Fi is not available here. The hostel isn't good as per the standards of the college.
Faculty: All teachers have done their masters from IITs and other nominated colleges. All of them are experienced in their fields. Our teachers are very helpful, and they helped me in every way possible to bring out the best in me. Semester exams are easy.
