Government Victoria College is a great place to have a college life.
Placements: At Victoria College, students get placed only through Merit, no management quota is there for admission. Students above 95% will get seat and students below 95% should have some extracurricular activities as weightage example sports, dance and kalostav. Studying there is free for students except exam fees, students who won’t urgent need to pay fees of around 2000 INR. Students can avail various scholarships under state and central government.
Infrastructure: Government Victoria College has an average infrastructure as it is a government college lots of things are not maintained well but it is adjustable to everyone. Classrooms are smart. There is a general library and some departments have their own libraries. It has Wi-Fi at one place and but has a poor canteen. The hostel and mess are better and has a good vibe inside, boys hostel is inside the college and ladies hostel is outside at a walking range. This college has a higher success rate in sports and games comparing to other local colleges.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified professors but they teach their portions, they do not spoon-feed anyone because everyone here are adults, some teachers don't even take classes, half of the teachers are very knowledgeable and intelligent here. The courses available here relevant to everyone future. Semester exam are held by calicut University which is the reason why I gave an average review, it is the worst University which tortures its students, I had written my 4 semester exams in 6 months because of this pandemic which gave most of the students stressed life. Pass percentage is good and some even got rank in this college, the only disadvantage is that it is under Calicut University.
Other: This college will have plenty of fests, elections and connection between students. This is a place to get a chilled vibe of life.

I am highly satisfied with campus life and other events which keep us active.
Placements: Placements are not usually provided in government arts and science colleges, and Government Victoria College is one among them. So we cannot expect campus placements from the institution. On the other hand, we get the opportunity to sit for the centralised placements as a part of this institution. The institution has good fame in the society as a whole. Hence, students of Victoria College are preferred by the recruiters over others from a similar background.
Infrastructure: All the basic infrastructure is provided by the institution. We have good academic buildings, hostel facilities, sanitation and pure drinking water. The institution has a good ground, gym and an auditorium. As a government college, we cannot expect anything more than that, and they are very valuable for the money we pay.
Faculty: We can find the best faculty members here. Most of the faculty members are permanent and experienced, and they build many talents from students. The institution usually doesn't go for guest faculty members, but we have seminars with market experts. Faculty members are very helpful and guiding.
Other: We can find everything here, be it academics, sports, arts and politics. You get an experience that you cannot find elsewhere.

I am really proud of my college and to become a part of it. I had a very good experience.
Placements: I don't know much about placements. This course offers CMA, CA, ICWA, accountant, teaching, banking, etc., jobs. A huge variety of jobs are available in this course.
Infrastructure: Classrooms and library facilities are provided to all students. Wi-Fi facility is also provided for all students. Lab facilities are available for needed courses. The food served in the hostel and canteen is also good. There is a huge ground to practice sports, and a huge auditorium is available for cultural activities.
Faculty: Teachers here are very helpful, qualified and very knowledgeable. They are experts and are very friendly also. Some of their teaching methods are excellent. They are very supportive and encouraging. Our course curriculum gets changed according to the industry. It is also good for students to know about the present scenario.
Other: I would like to learn about business. This course provides relevant business world and economic situations, so I have chosen it. This course has more importance in this present world. Fests are organised more in our college, and I think it would be more useful to students.

My best part of the life.
Placements: There is no placement drive in this college because it is a government college, but students who have studied in this college have got better jobs after completing graduation. They get better salaries, and some are getting jobs at the best companies so far.
Infrastructure: Hostel facilities are okay but there are some things that the students have to adjust because it is an old building there are adjustable things but now the new building is under construction it will be available as soon so the new students may be helpful.
Faculty: Faculty members are qualified by the NET exam. The top qualified are there for us. They are well knowledgeable. Their teaching method is very useful to study to grab the important topics so it's better from the curriculum side and exams are conducted up to date.
Other: It is the best campus in the Palakkad district it will be the best life for those who got admission to that college.
