Review of GB Pant Institute of Engineering and Technology.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good as it is situated on top of a hill. However, there is a water crisis a few times a month. The hostels are good, but the quality of food is not very good. The campus is good. In the name of medical facilities, we have one ambulance. Every hostel has a mess and a club room, which is mostly empty.

With low fees, our college provides more than enough facilities compared to other colleges.

Infrastructure: There are many facilities in our classrooms and labs. There are many complex machines and equipment for better understanding. Wi-Fi is available. There is also a vast library. Our campus also has many grounds for games like football, table tennis, volleyball, badminton, basketball, etc.

Dissatisfied with placement, infrastructure, and some faculty members.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is provided on some floors but not on all floors. Labs are decent, and classrooms have digital boards for teaching. The library is good, but it becomes difficult to find a particular book. The hostel provides decent rooms as per the charges, but the mess food is not that good.

Good faculty and average placements.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available in every hostel. Food is average sometimes good and sometimes bad. The library is available from 9:00 AM to 4'00 PM and is closed on Sunday. Classrooms are maintained and are usually clean. Sometimes there is a water problem because our college pumps water from the nearby city during difficult weather.

Affordable government college, but you are accountable for placements & more good opportunities.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good if we consider chill conditions. We have a good classroom, library, labs and hostels. As a government college, it fulfils necessities, but there is an issue of water shortage, and food is also eatable. Wi-Fi is available in some departments and only in some spots in the hostel. Sports infrastructure is not good, let it be ground, badminton court, or anything, everything is below average, and no one maintains it.

Satisfied with the admission.

Infrastructure: All the facilities are well-maintained in the department. Proper Wi-Fi facility is provided. Classrooms are well designed with good smart screens. Labs are well-equipped but do need proper maintenance from time to time. The lab equipment doesn't run when needed because of a lack of maintenance. Other than that, a departmental library is also provided.

Good for a degree and bad for placement.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is kind of good. Except for a few hostels all are new and just repainted, though the mess food is not good. Washrooms are cleaned regularly. Departmental infrastructure is also decent. Roads are there, food canteens, shops, a bank, and a post office are all inside the campus.

GBPIET is a decent college with a scope for growth.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is decent for a government college. Labs are functional. The library has a good collection of books. Wi-Fi is available on campus. Classrooms are clean and well-maintained. Hostel rooms are basic but livable. The mess food is average and nothing great, but manageable. Sports facilities exist, but are not very well-maintained. Medical facilities are basic. A small dispensary is available on campus. Overall, it has a standard government engineering college setup, nothing fancy, ...

Campus life is very good here. Other than that everything is average or below average.

Infrastructure: It is not as bad as others, but yes, it's pretty decent, I would say, because they maintain the building nicely. It lacks the modern, glossy feel of private universities. The central library is one of the largest in India. This is the gateway for GATE/IES preparation materials.

Overall, it is a good college in a good location in Uttarakhand.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is top-notch. The hostel is good. The cost is also very low. It provides Wi-Fi-enabled hostels and classrooms. The food is provided in the hostel itself. Sports facilities are also good. We also have NCC here, which is also very good.

If you want to join a college only to gain good course knowledge, then you can join.

Infrastructure: Labs are not well-equipped but well-equipped. Many instruments are in working condition. The library is big and lots of books are available. Hostels are good according to the fest-wise. Mess food is better than that at other private colleges. Rooms are shared and individual.

Beautiful campus surrounded by mountain, good infrastructure, value for money than many pvt college.

Infrastructure: Rooms are average. The mess food is below average. The hostel has good facilities, though it is not very clean, but that's the case in most colleges. The medical facilities are available, and the college has its own ambulance in case of any emergency. Wi-Fi facility is not provided in the first year.

Satisfied because of faculty and peaceful location of the college, but dissatisfied by placements.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is average. The library has a good number of books. Wi-Fi facility is installed in departments and hostels. The food is okay. Canteens are located on campus and have a good variety of food not very expensive due to the location of the college. There is less variety of fast food available.

The answer of your question can only be given by seeing the previous year cutoffs of this institute. In 2020 the  JEE mains cutoff for general category for Btech CSE was 49974. So, although you belong to SC category and your cutoff will definitely be low, but your rank is very less. The difference i
