Premier Engineering Education in Uttarakhand since 1989.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available in both the hostel and college, and a smart class and library are available. There is top-notch food in the mess. The campus is located in the scenic hills of Pauri Garhwal, Uttarakhand. GBPIET offers a serene environment with views of snow-capped Himalayan peaks. The campus is equipped with modern facilities to support academic and research pursuits. Well-maintained classrooms and specialized laboratories provide a conducive learning environment. However, some reviews sugges...

Title: GBPIET: The Dark Truth!

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is so bad and old, like it has been renovated after being made. There is no Wi-Fi in the hostel. It is available only in the department. The Wi-Fi in the department has no speed. The food is quite good sometimes, but I have found many insects in the food. The hostel condition is bad and old.

Beautiful campus surrounded by mountain, good infrastructure, value for money than many pvt college.

Infrastructure: Rooms are average. The mess food is below average. The hostel has good facilities, though it is not very clean, but that's the case in most colleges. The medical facilities are available, and the college has its own ambulance in case of any emergency. Wi-Fi facility is not provided in the first year.

Satisfied because of faculty and peaceful location of the college, but dissatisfied by placements.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is average. The library has a good number of books. Wi-Fi facility is installed in departments and hostels. The food is okay. Canteens are located on campus and have a good variety of food not very expensive due to the location of the college. There is less variety of fast food available.

Stunning view site. Good quality of air.

Infrastructure: Due to the hilly area, there is always a network issue. There is a different department allocated to each branch, where all necessary facilities are provided to students, which helps them use the knowledge practically. Our hostels are well-equipped with all essential items. Wi-Fi connection is provided in our hostel, and there are many more facilities provided to the students. In each room, there is a bed, table, almirah, tube light, and bulb.

Decent academic and peaceful campus but there needs to be better placement and industrial exposure.

Infrastructure: The college offers a strong foundation in mechanical engineering. Faculty members are very knowledgeable and very excellent at teaching. The campus is well-maintained with basic facilities like easy access Wi-Fi wide classrooms and labs. There is a big library for the students. The hostel and medical facilities are decent but could be improved in terms of hygiene and food quality.

Our college has good infrastructure.

Infrastructure: Hostels are good, and the college building is also in decent condition. However, since the college was established in 1980, some improvements are needed. The government should consider making a few upgrades to the college. Additionally, I believe the grounds are a bit small.

Good college with serene views and nature.

Infrastructure: In the biotechnology department, there is proper infrastructure for classes, seminar halls for meetings, and lab facilities for students with equipment. There is no individual branch library, but there is a common library for students where plenty of books from different courses are available. I’m not a hosteller.

Overall, it is one of the top government college in Uttarakhand.

Infrastructure: First of all our department is very good. Wi-Fi facility on all floor of department and any student can access it. Labs are okay and classrooms are also good. College has digital boards and well chairs and tables. Hostel is generally good in terms of which type of fees. Water comes only in morning and evening, toilets are cleaned. Mess food is very Good. There is an ambulance for students and in last hostel has some indoor games.

Our college has one of the most beautiful campuses in India. Come and study in the lap of nature.

Infrastructure: Faculty members in our college are highly qualified, having PhDs from IITs and NITs. They explain the concepts very deeply and are very helpful in academics. Hostels on the campus are neither too good nor too bad. Sometimes, during examinations in winter, there are electricity problems, and many times there are also electricity cut-offs from the hostels. The quality of food in the mess is not too good. There are medical facilities, and canteens are also provided in the college for students.

College with a beautiful view.

Infrastructure: In our college, every department has its own building, and Wi-Fi is present. Digital teaching is also available in the classrooms. The large library has all the basic requirements and course-related books. The hostel provides decent food, and water facilities are also adequate. Students can stay as they can.

Lack of placement in GBPIET.

Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure at GBPIET are average compared to other tier 2 colleges. There is Wi-Fi, but it is unreliable. The classrooms and labs are adequate, and the library is fine but has a limited selection of books. The hostel is below average, and the food is also below average.

My college experience at this college till now.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility is available at some places in the department. No water facilities are available in the department. There is no canteen in the hostel, and the quality of food is also not good. Sometimes it is okay, but most of the time, the quality is not good.

My college experience is good, and the environment around the college is fresh and healthy.

Infrastructure: In our college, the hostels are not very good. There are many network issues, and the Wi-Fi does not work properly. The mess food is not good or healthy. Three students share one room, and each student has one table, one chair, one almirah, and one bed. Our hostel has no canteen facilities.

The answer of your question can only be given by seeing the previous year cutoffs of this institute. In 2020 the  JEE mains cutoff for general category for Btech CSE was 49974. So, although you belong to SC category and your cutoff will definitely be low, but your rank is very less. The difference i
