Review of Government Hydro Engineering College, Bilaspur.

Placements: Placements are not such as good because companies do not come to college. Only 1 or 2 students are being placed in electrical engineering branch. The package offered by the company is about 2.4 LPA to students. But now companies are coming to give internship opportunities.

Infrastructure: The only government college has a residential campus. There are various facilities like Wi-Fi in classrooms and hostel rooms. Library and e-library facilities are also available. Classroom are clean. All classrooms are now converted to smart classrooms for the benefit of students. College has one canteen, food quality is also good. Mess food quality is also good having both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options.

Faculty: Our branch teachers are very supportive. They help in class work also they help us in extracurricular activities for the overall development of students. They help in making students industry-ready. Semester exams are easy and anyone can easily clear them.

Other: I chose this course because there is a large scope in this course in Himachal Pradesh. There should be some addition of subjects based on the latest technology rather than the irrelevant subjects.

Good college in a good location and good placements and good facilities.

Placements: Not much students placed here percentage is like 20% I don't know about packages exactly but ig 1 Lacs to 10 Lacs in between top percent of students got internship is like 8 or 9 CGPA and not much famous companies arrived here but it's a good college.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure of college is great it looks good and there are 3 floors in our college and a lift available in it and we get a Wi-Fi there too there are labs a library and classrooms are good too and sports facilities are good too but grounds are under construction rn.

Faculty: Yes teachers are qualified and helpful but some times strict too and there teaching quality is good too and exams are difficult but it depends on students the pass percentage is 30% and yes in our course they make us ready for industries, We get training for this.

Other: This is a good college but some 15 to 16 km far from city on a hill, but beautiful place.
