It is a good college only for degree purpose.

Placements: The placement record of this college is not good. This college does not have any tie-ups with companies. They invite only third party job consultancy for placements which is not good. They offer a salary of Rs. 10,000-15,000 per month for all branches, which is not that good. The college does not provide any internship. Students do internships on their own. The college does not have a good placement or internship record.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college and the hostels are good. The campus is lush green along with a natural environment. All facilities like bus, library, Wi-Fi, scholarship mentor, book shop, canteen, medical facility etc., are available here. Hostel rooms and the hostel environment are also good. There are a basketball court, table tennis, badminton, and a football ground. Gym and a sports room are available for all students.

Faculty: Teachers in our department or in the 1st year are good and very helpful for new students. All students are divided into two groups. The 1st-year syllabus is common for all. But after 1st year, I don't know much about other department faculty members. However, other department faculty members are good and helpful as compared to the mechanical engineering department. In the mechanical engineering department, there are not many faculty members who have good knowledge. Moreover, they behave like illiterate.

Other: I have chosen mechanical engineering because I am interested in the machine. The best things about our course are that maths and numerical are included in it as it is mandatory for mechanical engineers in any field, and I have a good command on it.

Review of Green Hills Engineering College.

Placements: It is a very good and reputed college. It placed every student in a reputable position in a company. Packages offered by the companies are very high. Top companies from across the world visited the campus and interviewed students. They give them a chance to grow.

Infrastructure: The campus is Wi-Fi enabled. Medical facilities are available. The hostel is average, and you can also take a single room if you want to stay alone. There is no barrier for students to take the hostel. It is the student's wish to stay anywhere he wants.

Faculty: Teachers are highly knowledgeable and helpful. The student-faculty ratio is 20:1. Teaching quality is good. Teachers have good basic knowledge, and they are able to make the college worthy. It is a miracle to take admission in such a college.

Other: Various fests are celebrated in the college. Celebrities come to the college to entertain the students.

Dissatisfied with the faculty. There are no placements after 2016, and there is lack of facilities.

Placements: The placements are just fake. It happened many times with us. The interviewers just come here for doing some time pass. There is a very rare chance of placement in this college. During admissions, the college claim that many students are placed at very good pay scales, but it is not true, and they all do formalities for their college reputation.

Infrastructure: There are no facilities in the college. Wi-Fi is not available on the campus, but only near the admin block area. About labs, the instruments and machines and all the systems are totally damaged. They do not work, and just like viva, we can see and touch it, but can't work on it. Even little work in the computer lab is only done with a commission. I hate these types of facilities. The main facility of this college is the library. The other facilities of transport are very irritating, just like private buses. Only those student are suffer who pay. Not a college student. It's really a very boarding facilities.

Faculty: The staff members are supportable as only a few teachers of some branch. But the faculty members are poor as they behave like a stranger and never support a student seriously. Some of the subjects are lectured without a teacher. They treat like they come sit rest and back to home. No matter with study. Some time it seem like they come and stay only for their pay. Faculty of admin is really irritating.

Other: The events are celebrating every year. The campus crowd and activities are done during tech fest, which is one of the interesting days of the college. The other events are also celebrated on the campus.

Overall, Green Hills Engineering College is the best.

Placements: A lot of companies visit the college to conduct placements, but the placement depends on the capability of a student to work. Most of the students were selected for the companies by qualifying the interview.

Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is very good. A gym and a bookshop are available on the campus. A medical shop and many other shops are available. Classrooms are very neat and clean. There is a playground to play games. Wi-Fi facility is provided in the hostel.

Faculty: The faculty in our college are good. Most of the teachers are highly qualified. They know how to tackle the students. They provide notes to the students. Many teachers in each branch are from the technical field.

Other: The campus crowd is high. Many events and fests are conducted in the institute. The scholarship is provided to the students based on their marks.

There are good campus placements because of the highly qualified faculty and good infrastructure.

Placements: The placements were very good for our senior batch most of them were placed in different MNCs. Same as that placements of our batch were better than the previous batch because the package that the students got was more from the previous one. Different companies visit there as from Tata, Infosys, Mahindra and other companies like Oswal etc.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is also good as compared to other colleges in Himachal Pradesh, and we have separate buildings for all departments. The rooms are airy, and we also have smart classes there. There are playgrounds for different games and also have a gym.

Faculty: The faculty is highly qualified in the college. The teachers are very helpful. There are smart classes, and the teachers give practical knowledge. They provide study materials. The industrial trips are organised for better study and to gain practical knowledge. Different cultural events are organised for all-round development of students.

Counselling
Admission is through counseling based on the rank/score obtained in JEE Mains and HPCET. Admissions to 85% general seats will be made by Himachal Pradesh Technical University and 15% seats will be filled by the management. Seats left vacant after completion of counseling by HP technical University will be filled by the college management.
