It has good infrastructure and decent placements.
Placements: More than 85% of students get placed after course completion. The highest package offered is 57 LPA. The lowest package is not disclosed to us. The average package offered is above 8 LPA. Adobe and Microsoft are the top recruiting companies for our course. Many students are shifted to the Rajpura campus for placements. Many students get internships in companies like Infosys.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is provided all across the campus with a high speed of 4 Gbps. There are labs for digital electronics and computer labs for students to learn coding culture. Classrooms are provided with charging ports so that student can charge their laptops. The library is open from 9 AM to 9 PM. The hostel is quite decent. If any problem occurs, then it is solved in 30 -40 minutes. The mess food is quite good. Medical facilities are also good. There is a university ambulance for emergency situations. There are indoor sports areas and a gym on campus.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and well-qualified. Many teachers are PhD holders, and the rest are currently pursuing a PhD. Teachers help students to make projects and give ideas for hackathons, etc. The course curriculum is designed in such a way that most of the parts are practical learning. Semester exams are moderate.

Great faculty. The facilities provided by the college are good.
Placements: There is a high placement rate, typically between 90-100 percent, for eligible students particularly in B.Tech and core branches. In 2023, over 1,150 students were placed by more than 670 recruiters with the highest package reaching 1.11 crore per annum (international/off-campus) and an average package of 5 LPA-6 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very good. College Wi-Fi works well and has the facilities of a library and a proper lab. Classrooms have proper air conditioning. Outlets are for fulfilling the cravings. The food given by the college is decent. The college provides a variety of food.
Faculty: There are 2 mid exams before the final exam. Teachers are very helpful and guide us very well. Mentors are provided so that we can discuss our problems with them. Professors help us in every way possible. The teaching methods of the professors are also good.

Placements: Not sure about the highest and the lowest, but very less percent of placement. Internship level is medium, no skills, not practical knowledge, only practical files. Attendance mass recruiters like Infosys take students, but with very low package. No future for Cyber Security here.
Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi is fairly good with VPN, labs are medium, classes are below average, and the library is average. The hostel is good, but food is below average and the canteen is the worst. Medical facilities are free and average, and sports are limited but okay. Other activities and events are enjoyable. Overall, the infrastructure is acceptable but has room for improvement.
Faculty: Some teachers are good, some are not, mostly good. It gives certificate but not industry-ready. Difficulty of exam is low/least. Passing is very easy but with at least 75 percent attendance. Even if you know, you can pass and top the exam. Also, no practical skills.
Other: In college, the worse thing is focus on exams, practical, attendance only, not on skills, experience from coding, etc.

It’s a good college, food is not bad, placement is above average, campus life is great.
Placements: The highest package is ₹1.1 CPA for CSE. The average package is ₹5–6 LPA. Around 70–80% of students got placed. It’s a good college, and placement is also above average. Courses available here are BE CSE, Nursing, and Pharmacy, which are high-tech and informative.
Infrastructure: Classes are good and airy. Labs are spacious. Food is okay, not bad. Hostel facilities are fulfilled generally. Sometimes, some issues occur which are resolved by the respective warden and hostel staff. Infrastructure of classrooms is also good. Labs are according to modern concepts.
Faculty: Faculty is good enough for teaching. Semester exams are average, not too tough, not too easy. These courses are curriculum-relevant, which makes students industry-ready. The pass percentage is not bad for students. Exams are a bit tougher in ST3.

Though the campus is decent, and there are occasional cultural fests and activities, these do little to compensate for the academic shortcomings. Hostels are average at best, especially when it comes to handling student grievances. Strong CSE placements, modern campus, and active student life at Chitkara HP.
Placements: I'm from the B.Tech CSE 2024-28 batch at Chitkara University, HP. Around 90 percent of students got placed. The highest package is 44 LPA (off-campus) and the average is 6 LPA- 8 LPA. Top recruiters include Amazon, Infosys, Wipro, TCS and ZS Associates. About 85 percent of students got internships at companies like Cognizant, TCS iON and teach startups. Roles offered are software developer, data analyst and QA engineer. Great campus and placement support.
Infrastructure: The CSE department has smart classrooms, high-speed Wi-Fi and well-equipped labs for AI, ML, IoT and networking. The library is modern with good digital resources. Hostels are clean and secure with 24/7 power. Mess food is average but hygienic. The canteen offers a better variety. Medical facilities are available on campus with a resident doctor. Sports facilities include basketball, volleyball and gym access for students.
Faculty: The faculty is qualified, helpful, and approachable. Teaching quality is good, with a focus on practical skills and industry tools. The curriculum is updated regularly with subjects like AI, ML, and cloud computing to ensure industry readiness. It's one of the best private universities in North. Placements are good. The average package during this year (2018-19) was around 7-12 LPA. It all depends on your skills. I would suggest you if you are not getting any govt. college then you can opt for Chitkara.

It all depends on how good are your skills. As you also know there is a lot of crowd in computer science department in every engineering college also if you are studying from a reputed college your placement would easy as compared to one studying in a less reputed college.
