Discover the campus of GNDU.

Placements: Hardly even a single student from our college gets a camp placement. Our college is not very good if you're looking for campus placement. They just give you the education, not the placement. Also, no professional company has ever come to a college for placements.

Infrastructure: As our college is under the workings of the Punjab government, the infrastructure of our college is medium. I can say that our college has all the necessary things, but they are not optimistic. We have a library, fans, computer labs, and all other necessary things.

Faculty: This is the best faculty I have ever seen in my whole life. The teachers are very good and supportive. They support me in every manner, whether it is my doubts, concerns, or even my exam tension. The exams at our college are very serious and subjective.

Hard work pays off.

Placements: Our college is UGC approved A+. All the staff members are very dedicating. The infrastructure is good. There are on campus placements of professional courses like MBA, M.Com etc. My experience was good. I did B.Com there. Placements aren't that good. But overall it's value of money and affordable college.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is not available but other facilities like computer lab, Botany labs, games and canteen is available and the services are ammeable. We used to pass all of our time in the courtyard. The food of the canteen is good. But mostly fast food so I wouldn't recommend it.

Faculty: Staff was well qualified though they were not regular but their ability to teach us above the horizon. Semester exams are very strict I passed with 70%. I used to face difficulty in economics and always had to focus extra. Our professor guided us whenever we needed. There behavior is quit good.

Other: I did B.Com there in 2019-2022 batch. There were so many culture activities and inter department competitions arranged by them. I participated in all of them.

The college is very good.

Placements: In my B. Tech (CSE) course, the placement record has been quite promising. Around 82-85% of the eligible students in the last placement drive were successfully placed in reputed companies, with several others opting for higher studies or entrepreneurship. The highest package offered touched 32 LPA, coming from a top multinational product-based company. On the other end, the lowest package stood at around 3.5 LPA, which was mostly for service-based entry-level roles. The average package across the batch remained in the range of 6.5-7 LPA, showing a healthy balance between high-end offers and standard industry packages.

Infrastructure: Our CSE department offers excellent infrastructure, including high-speed Wi-Fi, modern labs, smart classrooms, and a well-stocked library with digital resources. The hostel facilities are comfortable, with clean rooms, regular maintenance, and adequate security. The mess food is hygienic and offers a balanced diet, while the canteen provides diverse snacks and meals. Medical facilities include an on-campus health center with 24/7 emergency support. The campus also promotes fitness and recreation with sports grounds, indoor game areas, and a gym. Overall, the facilities are well-maintained, providing a supportive environment for both academics and personal growth.

Faculty: Teachers in the CSE department are highly qualified, supportive, and knowledgeable, often guiding students beyond classroom learning. The teaching quality is effective, combining theoretical concepts with practical applications. The curriculum is regularly updated to include emerging technologies like AI, cloud computing, and data Science, making it industry-relevant and skill-oriented. Semester exams are of moderate difficulty, testing both conceptual understanding and application skills. With consistent study, they are manageable, and the pass percentage typically ranges between 85 and 90%. Overall, the programme prepares students well for both placements and higher studies through its balanced academic approach.

Other: I chose B.Tech in CSE because of my passion for technology and problem-solving. The best aspects of this course are the strong placement opportunities, updated curriculum, skilled faculty, and exposure to real-world projects. However, I wish for more industry collaborations, advanced lab equipment, and additional practical workshops to enhance learning. The campus hosts vibrant events and teach fests, with an energetic and diverse crowd. It is well-connected by public transport, and the surroundings are safe and student-friendly. Scholarships are available for meritorious students, and extracurricular activities in sports, clubs, and cultural programs make campus life engaging and balanced.

Perfect match for B.Com.

Placements: 70% placement were provided in my course. The highest package is INR 100000 and the lowest package is near about INR 10000. The top recruiting companies are Pukhraj, SBI life insurance company, HDFC life insurance etc. The top role offered in my course is mainly a teacher's job or an accountant job.

Infrastructure: The main branch of the GNDU Amritsar will provide the hostel facility to the students with proper quality of hygienic food and also provide sports facility and many other facilities like canteen etc. Another branch of Gndu in Jalandhar have limited sports for students. But they have proper computer labs with internet facility and seminar halls.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful in classrooms but they can't properly help the students in exams. Though they do solve the query of the students. This course curriculum is most relevant and also makes the students industry ready. The semester exams are quite difficult and students can score good by studying hard.

Other: I chose this course to get an accountant job. The best thing about this course is students get more knowledge regarding accounts and other subjects. I wish some practical visit of some companies should be there by the teachers or college. The crowd in campus is quite similar like other colleges.

It is the best college for B.Com.

Placements: Around 75% of placements are provided in our course. The highest salary package offered is INR 1.5 LPA and the lowest salary is INR10,000 per month. Top recruiting companies are Pukhraj, SBI Life Insurance, HDFC Life Insurance, etc. Top roles offered are teacher, accountant, banker, etc.

Infrastructure: Our college provides a hostel facility for students with proper hygienic and good quality food. It provides computer labs with internet and seminar halls, sports facilities, etc. Sports available are limited. Canteen is not available in our college.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are the best and most knowledgeable. Teaching quality is very good. The course curriculum is relevant and makes students ready for industry. Semester exams are easy. If students study hard, they can easily get great marks. The minimum pass percentage is 33%.

Other: I chose this course to get a job in the bank or insurance sector. Students in our course get more knowledge about direct income tax, accounts, indirect income tax, etc. Campus crowd is similar to other colleges. Scholarships are provided to schedule caste and schedule tribe students. Fee concession is provided for the general caste.

Good faculty and quality of education, but the campus is not worth the money.

Placements: Most of the students in my course are eligible for placements, and most of them get placed in good companies. One that I had heard was that the package of 6 LPA was offered to a student. For my course, banks such as HDFC and others are the top recruiting companies. Mostly all the students of the course get internships in their 9th semester.

Infrastructure: Classrooms on the campus are good, but the fans there do not work properly. There is no Wi-Fi access in the camps for the students, too. The washrooms on the campus are a total mess. Labs and the library of the college are good, with a good amount of ACs, books, and monitors. There is no canteen or mess.

Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and polite. They cooperate with the students and help them to learn. The curriculum is also relevant and makes the student industry-ready. The difficulty of the semester exams is exactly as they should be, neither too easy nor very tough.

Guru Nanak Dev University College, Jalandhar, GNDU has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses:

Courses	Eligibility
MBA/PGDM	Candidate who have passed Bachelor's degree in any subject with at least mentioned marks in aggregate and any other examination recognised equivalent thereto from a recognised Institute/ University are eligible to apply.
BBA	Candidate who have passed Senior Secondary Examination (12th Grade) with at least mentioned marks in aggregate and any other examination recognised equivalent thereto by GNDU, Amritsar from a recognised board are eligible to apply.
MCA	Candidate who have passed BBA/B.Com./B.Sc. (Hons.)Economics or Graduate in any stream with Mathematics/Statistics/Computer Sciences/ Computer Applications/IT/Computer Maintenance/ Quantitative Techniques as one of the elective subjects with mentioned marks in aggregate or any equivalent degree thereto from a recognised Institute/ University are eligible to apply.
