Q:   Can I become a lawyer after completing my LLB?
A:

No, After completing LLB you become a lawyer, however, you are still not an advocate and hence cannot practice law. To become an advocate and to practice law as a profession, you mandatorily need to clear the All India Bar Examination (AIBE). After qualifying AIBE, one can practice law as a full fledged profession.

Q:   Which courses can I do after a D.Ed.? Should I do a BSc or B.Ed?
A:

The best choice depends on your career aspirations:

·       If you want to become a teacher: Opt for a B.Ed. It's the mandatory qualification for teaching in most schools.

·       If you want to pursue a career in research or a science-related field: A BSc would be more suitable. It provides a strong foundation for further studies and specialised careers.

·       If you're unsure: Consider your interests and skills. Do you enjoy teaching and interacting with students? Or are you more drawn to scientific exploration and research?

Additional options:

·       M.Ed.: If you already have a B.Ed., you can pursue a Master of Education for career advancement or specialisation in a particular teaching area.

·       Diploma courses: Various specialised Diploma courses in education or related fields can enhance your skills and knowledge.

Q:   What is the Scope of Humanities and Social Science courses?
A:

Humanities as a stream provides a wide range of courses that can be studied after completing their 12th grade. Pursuing any of these degrees prepares you to understand the various levels of humanities and, as a result, carve out an appropriate job path. Candidates in the humanities can apply for positions in the government sector, such as banking firms, government ministries, legal firms, and political analysts.

Content Writer, Civil Services, Human Resource Manager, Defense Services, Lawyer, Journalist, Counsellor, and Therapist positions are available. As freshers, humanities graduates can expect to earn between INR 2-6 LPA.

Not a good college but offers a good college life.
Placements: There is no placement culture here. No internships are offered to me or any of my friends, and I rarely think if they really even offer internships to any of the students I have never seen any one to be placed by the college. As far as I have seen and I have been in this college no one is placed by the college as per my opinion.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the course I am pursuing is considerable here. The condition of Physics lab and Chemistry lab are not really good. The apparatus in Physics lab and the chemical botle in Chemistry lab are very old. Which affects the data. Overall all labs are not in good condition.
Faculty: There are few only professors for each subjects and rest are just temporary teachers. And any how they do appreciable job. Not very considerate I say. The course curriculum is relevant to every college where there is B.Sc. is offered so, yes relevant course curriculum. Semester exams and yearly exams are moderately hard. Passing percentage of students is good but with average marks.
Other: I chose this course cause I love Science. My course helps me getting insights of the Physics and mathematics that facinates me Infrastructure of college, classes, table, bench, labs, even library can be improved. Fresher's party Farewell party are arranged every year by the students. Republic and independence day are celebrated by the college itself. There are extracurricular activities the college organises various sports (indoor and outdoor games) Yes scholarships are provided.

Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) - Batch of 2021

I'm absolutely dissatisfied with the college facilities.
Placements: Our college has no placements. There are no recruiting companies that come to our college. My experience is very bad. Not a single company came to Harichndra PG College, not a single student got an internship for any course. This college is not good in terms of placements or internships.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very bad. There is no Wi-Fi system available on campus. There are no hostel facilities in this college. The environment of the classroom is very old-fashioned. It is very uncomfortable to study in these types of classrooms, but we are provided with library and lab facilities in the college.
Faculty: Only a few teachers in our college are good. Most teachers are on paid service (assistant). The educational level of this college is low in comparison to other colleges or universities like BHU, MGKVP, and UP College. The passing percentage of our college is about 60% to 70%.
Other: The college should improve the lab facilities. There is a scholarship opportunity provided to students.

M.Sc. in Zoology - Batch of 2021
2.8

Placements-wise it is not good but education-wise this college is good.
Placements: Our college provides just internships or assistant jobs for students with a good percentage to teach on behalf of professors. No one gets any placements in any companies. As I was a Zoology student there were no external interfaces with other colleges or other departments held. But overall for education purposes, it was good.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure was old. Laboratory material was full but classrooms and laboratories were untidy and need to clean. The library was good and provides almost all the books. They provide books on request. Overall it needs to modernize a little bit, and all the old equipment needs to change.
Faculty: Teachers were helpful and knowledgeable. The quality of teaching was good in the Zoology department. Teachers provide notes and help in every way. The second year was tough as compared to the first. Students had to finish a topic for last semester. Passing marks were 25 in any subject out of 100.
Other: Our college has good quality teaching. The campus was not that crowded and scholarships were provided to the students.
