Review of Holy Mary Institute of Technology & Science.
Placements: Students have performed very well this year. A total of 286 students passed all exams this year. All students got a good percentage, and they have been placed in good companies. The highest package offered is 9 LPA last year in the B.Tech. Top companies like Google and Microsoft visit the college to hire students.
Infrastructure: Our college has well-maintained classrooms. The library is very big with more books. We have high security in the college.
Faculty: The college has good faculty members with high professional standards. Teachers have good teaching skills. Students are well prepared for industry-level work. Exams are conducted from time to time. There are 8 semesters in the B.Tech course.
Other: I chose B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering course. This course has a good scope for the future. In the ECE branch, we have good professors.

B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering (Data Science) - Batch of 2028

It's a decent college with average placements.
Placements: HITS offers decent placement opportunities, especially for CSE, IT, and ECE branches. However, the placement performance is not top-tier when compared to NITs or reputed autonomous colleges in Hyderabad like CBIT, VNR, or Vasavi.
Infrastructure: Multiple computer labs are available for CSE and other students. The labs are equipped with basic to moderately powerful systems, suitable for programming, Python, machine learning tools, and so on. However, don't expect high-end GPUs or cloud computing infrastructure, as this is often limited or used in batches. The internet speed is average and sometimes slow during peak hours. There is also no proper mobile signal.
Faculty: Most faculty members hold M.Tech or Ph.D. degrees, especially in CSE, ECE, EEE, and Civil/Mechanical. There is a mix of experienced professors and young lecturers, so the teaching style varies. Some senior faculty have over 10-15 years of teaching experience, particularly in core engineering branches. The faculty is too good.
Other: I chose Data Science because it allows me to work with real-world data, find patterns, and build smart systems that can impact millions of people. I enjoy coding and problem-solving, and I love how Data Science combines logic with creativity. It also offers strong career growth and diverse job opportunities.

College was very good once upon a time, but now it is above average. Infrastructure is good.
Placements: There is less percentage of students placed from the college. The starting package is 2.5 LPA. The highest package is 19 LPA. Top company where students are placed is Infosys. 6% of students got internships from our course.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure in our college is average. Wi-Fi is not available, and the signal is not available. Labs are the one we prefer and classrooms are general. Library is the good place in our college. Facilities and infrastructure are available for our department.
Faculty: Some faculty members are good and some are very poor in teaching. 40% of students are ready for industry and the remaining are not. Semester exams in college are tough, they don't allow to rotate your head. Pass percentage is 30%.
Other: I choose the college of no donation and the best thing the college is ground and venture the improve of college to improve the faculty and study events and fest ate good.

It is the place if you want to grow up, and if you want to enjoy it, it is the best place.
Placements: Around 60-70% of students were placed in my course. The highest package offered was 6 LPA, the lowest was 2.5 LPA, and the average was 3.5 LPA. Top recruiters included TCS, Wipro, Infosys, and Capgemini. Around 40% got internships in companies like TCS iON, local startups, and service-based firms. Roles offered were software developer, QA tester, and support engineer.
Infrastructure: The course infrastructure includes basic facilities like classrooms, labs, and a library. Wi-Fi is available, but not reliable at times. Labs are functional but need upgrades in terms of equipment. The hostel infrastructure is average, with normal rooms, limited cleanliness, and water supply issues. The mess food is manageable but lacks variety. Medical facilities are minimal and need improvement. Sports and games are present but not well-maintained. Overall, the infrastructure is decent but can be improved for a better student experience.
Faculty: I chose this course because I was interested in the technical field and wanted to gain knowledge in engineering. One of the good things about the course is the structured syllabus, which helps in understanding the basics clearly. However, there is a need for improvement in industry exposure, updated curriculum, and more practical learning opportunities. The campus crowd is average, with limited extracurricular activities or fests. The college is located a bit far from the main city, so connectivity is sometimes an issue. Scholarship support is available but limited. More interactive events, better campus life.
Other: I chose this course because it aligns well with my interests and career goals in the field. The best things about my course are the knowledgeable faculty and the practical exposure through labs and projects. However, I feel that more industry visits and updated lab equipment would improve the experience. The campus crowd is decent.

If you are looking for a good college with great faculty and infrastructure, this is it.
Placements: A good amount of placements, compared to other colleges, our college had good placements, which most people don't know. We frequently see companies coming to placement drives, actively recruiting students. Overall, a good track of placements.
Infrastructure: Decent classrooms, I would say. Don't expect them to be great. They are not well-maintained, but it's enough to study in them. The library is well-equipped with books that help you in your studies and personal life. Wi-Fi is not available for the students, but the canteen is good.
Faculty: Faculty members are great at this college. They supported me so well. They teach you very well, and they are super friendly with the students. The only thing is that being good in college will help you a lot. If you are a good student, it's a great option for you.
Other: Very good infrastructure with a green campus, and you'll have multiple playgrounds like cricket ground, soccer ground, and basketball court. Frequently, fests are conducted.

Good college, bad placements, bad faculty, and good atmosphere.
Placements: Placements are weak in the Holy Mary Institute of Technology and Science. If you're from a computer science engineering or information technology department, placements are available. There were 50% of students who got placements last year. The highest package is 30 LPA and the average package offered in our course is 5 LPA in our course. Top recruiting companies for our course are Wipro and ECS.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available for our course are poor. In other words, we can say that there is a huge problem with food. Many people face health issues based on food. So the review for the hostel is bad. Labs and classrooms are good. The library is also good, we can find all types of books here.
Faculty: Some of the teachers teach perfectly and properly in a professional way. But there's only one problem with some faculty. We can't completely depend on faculty. We need to practice our course by ourselves. The pass percentage is approximately 65%-75%.
Other: I chose my course because I am interested in computer science and engineering. I feel like if they improve the faculty, I can be better. Events and fests are held nicely by our college by the ORM team. We have a special team for that.
