We feel proud to be a student of HIT.

Placements: More than 75 percent of students get placement in our course. The highest package is INR 6 lakh. The average package is around INR 4 lakh. The lowest package is INR 2 lakh per year. Many factories offer jobs for us. 75 percent of students get an internship in a year.

Infrastructure: Good classroom and lab classes are available here. Green environment and a joyful college campus. Free Wi-Fi is available on the college campus. A big library is present on the college campus. A big playground is available inside the college campus. Good medical facilities are available here.

Faculty: Teachers are too good and helpful; they are also too friendly with us. Teachers are knowledgeable and qualified. Teachers teach us very well; their teaching quality and teaching process are amazing. The course curriculum is ready for an industry job. The semester exam is moderate, with a pass percentage of 35.

Hooghly Institute of Technology is the perfect college for every Diploma seeker.

Placements: In the last couple of years, because of the outbreak of the corona virus, the recruitment process is really held up. But in the past, it was quite good. Above 79% of students got placed in companies like ITC, L&T, Ultratech, Cognizant, Capgemini, ACC Cement and many more. The packages are variable from company to company. But for a Diploma engineer, it is quite good. My basic pay when I joined ITC was 3 Lacs per annum. WBPDCL, Indian Railways, WBSEDCL, WBTCL and many companies offered internships here. The internships are very valuable to every candidate for their future. About 95% of students got internships here.

Infrastructure: The hotel is inside the college campus. Wi-Fi is available for the betterment of students to help in their studies. The classrooms are a bit old as the building is quite old here. But the huge library on the 3rd floor of the building is the main point for students. New and old, all kinds of engineering books are available here for the betterment of students. A field is also present inside the campus. In the afternoon, cricket, football, carrom, and volleyball are played there. The hospital is just 2 minutes walk away from the campus. So, there is no problem for the health care of any students.

Faculty: The main reason to choose this college is its faculty. All the faculty members are very well-qualified and knowledgeable. Their intentions to teach every student are very clear. Their knowledge of practical field also helps us to be industry-ready. The curriculum is maintained by WBUT. Semester papers are not so tough that anyone can fail. But if you are not knowledgeable, you are not going to shine in exams, that is for sure. The pass percentage is just 40%.

Other: It was quite clear for me that I wanted to become an electrical engineer. The best thing is that I get to control the invisible power that helps every industry to run, every house to run, and every machine to run. It is quite cheerful. To gain vast knowledge, you have to understand the basic principles of everything. Social, tech fest, sports, and freshers are held every year, and many guests and big celebrities are invited to the shows to perform. Scholarships are available for talented students, and the best part is its connectivity. It is very close to Pipulpati bus stand (1 minute walk away), and it is 5 minutes walk away from Hooghly Ghat railway station and 13 minutes away from Hooghly Station. Many autos and electrical totos are available from the station to the college campus, and these are quite affordable.

Good infrastucture Cse class. Knowledge of how to handle a HR . Clutural programs

Placements: 70% students gets campusing and the remaning to go for the higher studies. Himadri, CETC,etc. Companies hire to our college in campusing . More than 50 % student do internship from our college to get better job offer and placements Companies are civil , elctrical ,etc

Infrastructure: Better Infrastructure . I say all over Diploma college no one have give n hostel facilities like our college . All facilities are here . No problem . Quality food is also good. All sports have been played in the field of the college . All students have to pay it

Faculty: Yes the teachers are helping in nature . Yes if they can do better study their is a chance where in campus selection. Yes it makes student industry ready for job. No difficult exams . A student is a average he can pass the exam . Pass percentage is 40 % .
