A good AIML college with nice campus life, but placements really need improvement.
Placements: Placements for the AIML branch are not very strong. Only a limited number of students in my batch were placed through campus drives, and most had to rely on off-campus opportunities. A few good companies visit, but the offers and packages are not very high for the majority. Internship support is also limited, so students usually have to find options on their own. Overall, placements really need improvement.
Infrastructure: The overall infrastructure of the college is quite good. Classrooms are spacious and equipped with projectors, and the labs have most of the required equipment. The campus has decent Wi-Fi connectivity and a good library with enough study material. Hostel facilities are also fairly comfortable, with clean rooms and proper security. The mess food is manageable, not great, but not too bad either. Sports facilities and medical support are available, so overall, the campus and hostel environment feel student-friendly.
Faculty: The faculty for the AIML branch is fairly knowledgeable and supportive, but teaching quality varies. Some teachers explain concepts very well and help students with doubts, while others could be more practical and interactive. The curriculum is decent, but could be updated more according to current industry trends like real-world AI tools, ML frameworks, and projects. Exams are moderately difficult and manageable if you study regularly. Overall, academics are okay, but there is room for improvement in practical exposure and industry relevance.
Other: I chose this course because I was genuinely interested in the field, and the college also has a decent academic reputation. The best part is the campus environment, infrastructure, and the exposure you get through events and activities. However, I do feel that placements can be improved and the curriculum could be made more industry-oriented. Still, it has been a good learning experience overall, and with some improvements, the college can become even better.

The faculty is not good, no one seems genuinely interested in learning. Not a good experience.
Placements: There are no proper placements. They bring call centre and KPO jobs as placements. Students gain no real knowledge and nothing that is useful for getting into good companies, relevant tools and technologies.
Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi connectivity is poor, the computers in the labs do not work properly, are outdated or lack required software. The classrooms are sufficient in number. The canteen is bad too, the food served is not good in terms of quality and taste. The menu lacks variety.
Faculty: The faculty is poor and unqualified, and the college should hire better teachers. The curriculum is outdated and poorly designed. They conduct only one class in a day once a week, which wastes the entire day of students. The exams are fine and conducted in an organised manner. The faculty is not good. Some of the faculty members who teach DSA in Python don't even know the basics of Python themselves. They just study the night before and prepare PPTs and read them in class.
Other: The campus lacks sufficient space. The events are poorly organised and could be much better. The clubs are also run badly and need significant improvement. The management should focus on hiring better faculty and ensuring that students learn real-world tools and technologies. There is no ragging, and students can talk freely, there are no strict discipline rules.

This college(HITAM) is good.
Placements: Around 40 to 50% students are placed. 25 LPA was the highest package, and it was placed around a year back, and she was very happy. The lowest was 6 LPA. Qualcomm, VLSI, and many more recruit. 40% students got internships as VLSI designers, embedded designers, chip designers, software jobs and many more.
Infrastructure: The HITAM (Hyderabad Institute of Technology) is an excellent and very good-looking college, and it is the place where you can see only trees around the college. We can't talk about the infrastructure, it is the best, I think, in Hyderabad. We play a lot of sports in college. They encourage us, and they conduct plenty of competitions in the college, and we go to other colleges to play and show our talent. Food is excellent and reasonable, and the hostels are good, and the medical facilities are also fine. Overall, it's a very good college and faculty.
Faculty: Our teachers are very helpful. They solve the doubts we ask, they explain very well, they teach us the morals of life, as well as the lessons, and I can say our teachers are good. They are ready. We visit several companies and gain knowledge, as well as inside the college. Exams are hard, but we can write because our faculty teaches us very well.
Other: I chose it because of my passion. Nothing to improve. All are very good.

Affordable college with solid infrastructure and a growing Mechanical department.
Placements: I am a B.Tech Mechanical Engineering student from the 2023–26 batch. Mechanical placements are average compared to CSE/IT branches. Around 40–45% of students from our senior batch get core or related roles through campus drives, while others pursue higher studies or off-campus jobs. The highest package in Mechanical is around 5.5 LPA, the lowest is about 2.2 LPA, and the average is near 3.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: The campus is eco-friendly and well-designed with good academic facilities. Our mechanical department has dedicated labs for thermal, fluid mechanics, CAD/CAM and strength of materials, with functional machinery. Classrooms are spacious with projectors and Wi-Fi is available, though the speed varies.
Faculty: Our mechanical faculty is approachable and knowledgeable. Most professors hold M.Tech degrees and guide us well in design and manufacturing subjects. The curriculum follows JNTUH guidelines but includes extra training in CAD software which is helpful for industry preparation. Exams are moderately difficult. Internal assessments and lab records are mandatory. Around a 90 percent pass rate is common.
Other: For Mechanical, the fee structure is reasonable compared to other colleges. Campus life at HITAM is vibrant. There are cultural events, technical fests like Elysian, student clubs, sports facilities, and green spaces that make the environment relaxing. The crowd is friendly and mostly from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The campus is well-connected and has a peaceful vibe making it a good environment for learning.

Review of HITAM College, which makes HITAM stand out from the crowd.
Placements: HITAM is one of the best colleges when it comes to placements, and highest salary package is 24 LPA from the Goldman Sachs company. Recently, 2025 passed out students are selected in one of the major companies, Cognizant, and are doing their internships from different locations in India.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very good, and new construction is underway to provide as many new opportunities as possible to the upcoming batches. And whole greenery is accumulated on the campus, and you can enjoy good food in the HITAM canteen. An open library and a separate incubation center are there, and IEEE student chapters where students do their individual and group projects.
Faculty: Curriculum of HITAM college is quite different from other colleges. HITAM provides opportunities to participate, engage, and do their own specifications from their 1st year itself. HITAM had Google developed, Toastmasters, hackathon, and numerous student chapters, which help students to learn and gain knowledge in their field of engineering.

I am satisfied because of the faculty members and good placements.
Placements: We have much better placements. The only company that hires students is Goldman Sachs. Top roles offered are very nice. Students get placed in our college. The highest package in our college is 12 LPA. I do not know the lowest package. The top recruiting companies for our course are Goldman Sachs and the other bunch of companies where we can get hikes.
Infrastructure: We have a nice infrastructure in our college. It has a nice hostel. The college consists of different departments. Wi-Fi, labs, and classrooms are very nice. The library is okay, but it is small. However, we are happy with the books there.
Faculty: Our college has better and the best faculty members with a lot of knowledge. It conducts nice exams for our course. Teachers are qualified and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is relevant to our subject. They make students industry-already. Semester exams are nice. The past percentage is also the highest in our branch among all branches.
Other: It need changes in scholarships, campus ground, campus surroundings, scholarship, and extracurricular activities. We need a bunch of sports. It should provide more entertaining things. It provides a nice education.
