Rest, 70% of seats are filled through the EAPCET, followed by counseling. For merit-based admission, candidates can apply directly through the official website of the institute. However, in merit-based admission, candidates might be required to go through a written test, followed by a PI.

Kakinada's Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University administers the Engineering, Agriculture, and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET) (JNTUK). May saw the administration of the EAMCET. Registration for EAMCET is anticipated to open in March, with April serving as the deadline to register without paying a late fee. Applicants may also choose to apply for the EAMCET until May, albeit there will be a late fee. The application process must be finished by the deadline in order for candidates to be considered for admission through the EAMCET.
